Where to stay in Valbonë

We had amazing experience with an owner of this place! We came to Valbone without any booking and were trying to find a place to sleep. Everything was fully booked :( We were about to sleep in a car when we found this place. Even though they had an organised event at that moment he spoke to us and organised a great place to stay for the night! Also, the food is goood and stuff extremely nice and speaking...

Went here for lunch today and had a great experience. The trout is very tasty and fresh. Lamb was nice too. Waiter was friendly and spoke well enough English. I recommend!

A very good pleace for camping.

Very nice scenery! However, very little service (uncleaned toilet), wild camping would be the cheaper option...

Amazing location, clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff, and incredible home-made food for dinner and breakfast! 100 % recommended!

Was very happy with my stay in the guesthouse. I wish they offered packed lunch for the hike, I later learned that other guesthouses do. They didn't offer dinner either that day so we had to go to another guesthouse to get food in the evening. Breakfast was very good though.

This guest house is small heaven place where you can relax after a long trek in its amazing garden surrounded by nature and with jaw dropping views and the surrounding mountains. The whole family was incredibly welcoming always ready to help and provide helpful tips. The food was also top notch and a highlight of our trip.

One of the best places I've ever been. Amazing nature, very quiet and tranquil place. And as a bonus, no need to think about food and drinks, because everything is served in guesthouse. Food and homemade wine were delicious

Agim is a friendly host very kind and helpful also speaks English. I called him and he told me to set up camp and he arrived later. The facilities were adequate and it was possible to buy drinks while he was there at a reasonable price. Recommended

Family was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. During the night we heard our neighbours snoring, it didn't bother us since we were exhausted from the hike. Just a small recommendation, if I have to give one 😊.

Moderne but with a local touch The service is very good with staff who speak English or Italian I found the location very pheasant with a fantastic garden where you could have your breakfast or meal with an incredible view of Theth valley Be prepared: the garden is the playground for 3 rabbits running around. I am sure it is the most famous rabbits from Facebook and it is the attraction...

Nicely located in the Albanian Alps, in Theth Vilage which is a top tourist destination. I was impressed with the staff being very friendly and hospitable. This is a family run guesthouse and small hotel. The rooms were clean and the new building had some very nice rooms. Nice views of the valley.

I found it so good that I added an extra day of vacation to this structure with my family. Very nice staff, even the owner is very willing to help customers, the food is good and traditional. A perfect place to fill your lungs with clean air. The hotel offers various excursions to magnificent places, ancient caves, waterfalls and wonderful blue eyes !! The place is cute and fancier than other guest houses in the area. We stopped by for lunch after our hike. There wasn’t a menu to order food. The waiter recommended a traditional dish - speca me gjize, roasted red pepper with cottage cheese. It’s a bit salty but good flavor over all. I think there was a miscommunication due to translation. We didn’t get the drink and lamb the way I wanted but the waiter...

The location is fantastic and balcony view is fabulous. The hotel building is new and still the decorations and internal construction for restaurant is ongoing. The breakfast is included with local food served in deferent building close by. The staff is helpful and they cook local Albanian food for dinners. The only problem I face is the road is very difficult to drive I will come by minibus next time...

It’s a perfect place to stay, the owner is very good and kind person and if you ask for any help she would never hesitate to help you, the rooms are very clean and the location is really good , everything is exceptional , if i come back again , i would love to stay here again and again

Very clean and silent, hosts are beautiful, kind friendly and helpful. Nature is unbelievable! Definitely recommend to eat there. It is nice base for hiking and small church in Theth is near the house.

Very very very recommended. We had the best times here. The room is nice, clean, and comfortable. Christian the host is the best part, he speaks fluent English, super helpful and probably the nicest guy in Albania (and Albanians are mostly nice). The food was good and the village has very pleasant atmosphere

We didn't stay here for sleeping but we went to their kafe bar a couple of times and the guy there was extremely helpful. Guided us on a few things, found a transport to Shkodra for us... Was super nice and helpful. The place is also very cool to chill and relax while having a drink.

The room is what it is, a room to have a shower and sleeping, do not expect more. However the environment is ideal and the family super friendly. The breakfast was AWESOME and the entire family was always looking after us, despite of the language barriers. Really recommend this place. The 3 generations of that family are lovely. Thanks for a great stay.

So great place to stay! Owners are cute grandparents who can help you with everything. The only problem can be language barrier, but just use Google translate. Everything was great, very ambient place!

The service was the best with the conditions. the rooms were warm, comfy and had a great view. The location was well-chosen and I couldn't stop looking at the church and the mountainside. The hosts were kind enough to show us the hiking map and tell us the directions. On the second day, we started hiking to the waterfall and the canyon one of the dogs at Bujtina Polia somehow followed us and came back...

Nice people and food but very basic rooms.

One of the outstanding places on the planet. Theth is great and Budjtina Polia is a superb guesthouse. Everything is family style, you will not go hungry or thirsty. Prices are unexpectedly reasonablemgiven the remote location. Bring plenty of cash, no ATM s in the valley. Lots of hiking right out the door. Kitchen staff takes pride in their work and Nard will help you with almost anything.

We have tried the traditional food for dinner. The women cooked for us a lovely meal. We didn’t stay there but the place is very well located near the church.

We booked two nights at the last minute with my friends on a roadtrip. Very clean, the food is delicious, but most importantly, the hosts are amazing people. A kindness that is rare in the hotel business. Thanks to them, I wish them the best.

One of the best guesthouses. Very clean, neat, a friendly owners. The hospitality is amazing. Great food. Great view by the river, you can hear the river sound at night so relaxing . The rooms are large with indoor bathrooms. Highly recommended.

Wonderful family-run place, perfect way to cap off our hike from Valbona. It feels like an old farmhouse, amenities are basic but it's beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. Dinner was great. Totally recommend staying here.
