Rooms were comfortable and clean with balconies, some looking at the ranges.
Some minor maintenance issues in the room but nothing that made our stay unhappy.
Off-street free parking behind a locked gate.
A safe place to stay in Alice.
Be careful walking on the lawns outside as you may get hit by a golf ball.
Pool is heated (somewhat) and the outdoor spa was very warm.
Taking the sunset goes with you
Negatives were cardboard teaspoons in rooms, lukewarm showers. Had to pay for internet unless you wanted to join a mailing list. Missed the little things that make a difference. Didn't feel like I was staying in a hotel by the Hilton group. The bed was lovely. Overall the place is looking a little tired.
Very little customer service. Front desk were more interested in training than dealing with the ‘invisible’ guests waiting at the counter. Not to the usual Hilton standard. So… room was good and good value. Service was atrocious. Food average and staff, moreover restaurant and bar managers were just rude.
