The beds rare extremely comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and good quality. Delicious omelettes cooked on request.
A neat clean and safe hotel across the river. Rooms were comfortable and clean with balconies, some looking at the ranges. Some minor maintenance issues in the room but nothing that made our stay unhappy. Off-street free parking behind a locked gate. A safe place to stay in Alice. Be careful walking on the lawns outside as you may get hit by a golf ball. Pool is heated (somewhat) and the outdoor spa...
It's most popular hotel in Alice Springs, the rooms service have an excellent services. It's the most enjoyable view of the Caterpillars hills. Seeing the sunset are amazing you'll never miss. Taking the sunset goes with you
Good family hotel. Nice pool with hot tub for winter time. Great breakfast buffet. But no water for shower which was strange. Housekeeping and service were both great.
A great place to stay with nice rooms and a selection of restaurants (albeit extremely pricey). Breakfast was extensive and lovely with fresh coffee and eggs made to your liking. The staff are lovely and attentive and if I were to return the Alice, I would stay here again.
Location is close to city and airport, and quiet. Room is spacious, staff at breakfast buffet are very friendly. Kids enjoy their stay and the swimming pool. Beautiful peacock roaming the garden too. Hanuman restaurant on site is great. Late checkout 12pm is good.

Nice place to stay, very close to town centre. The casino is inside the campus too with couple of restaurants (Tali and Juicy Rump), a nice pool and ample parking space. The rooms are spacious and clean and tidy, though they don't have kitchen equipment so keep in mind if booking for that. Book in advance to avoid high prices. You can also take the complimentary bicycles to ride for upto 2 hours.
Unfortunately it was cold and wet when we visited, so we weren't able to experience the pool, etc outside. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our included breakfast was served in the Tali restaurant and consisted of a full hot and cold buffet together with cooked to order omelettes. Overall a nice place to stop.
Location was quiet and peaceful. Many birds, sunset and sun rise was nice.Very professional reception staff. Very polite and nice. Gave us all the information we needed. Dinning is in the same premises for all budgets. But some times you don't get what's on the menu. They offer you free chips for missing contents. We felt like room service staff needs to be trained to provide a quality service
A few minutes from the centre. Right next to the Casino where you can eat. Rooms comfortable. Pool area not croded.
Clean and modern hotel. Nice large rooms. Large and clean outside pool with poolbar. Was a bit surprised at dinner because when a table is prepared for four, a couple may not sit there. They have to sit on a table prepared for two. Table size was the same.

Fair, peaceful and quiet but the bed is very hard and the bathroom not clean. Empty Shampoo and Conditioner dispensers in shower. Cheaper to stay at the Casino across the Road with better facilities.
A lovely hotel that is just s little different the than the rest. Nice big rooms, ours overlooked the pool, which was very vlean and refreshing. oasis away from home.
I could rave for days about my amazing food experience here last night. Very fulfilling. I love a good Laksa but find it very hard if not impossible to find one in Alice. This place surpassed my expectations with flying colours! I also had dinner with friends here a few weeks ago and the chilli garlic prawns (not creamy) were to die for!! Doing great things at the moment ? very rewarding views of...
More of a motel 30 minutes walk from town nice place to stay the staff were very friendly and helpful and the pools nice, the rooms are a good size and clean there's a big casino and restaurant complex over the road.
I couldn't feel anymore comfortable. A very clean and well made up room. Super polite and personable staff. The grounds are very well maintained. The bar and restaurant are great. The view of the mountains by the pool is beautiful. The staff are top notch here. Give it a crack.

Alice Springs, 11 Leichhardt Tce 🧭 Map
Stayed here for four nights. Room was very comfortable, air con was good and coffee, milk etc was replenished daily. Hotel was very central for us. Only thing (being picky) the pool was not heated
Cost wise, it's a very good option for it price. Staff are lovely and always willing to help. Rooms are showing its age, however, it still comfortable and in a very convenient location.
Great location for restaurants, bars and shopping. Reception and housekeeping staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms: beds are comfortable but facilities are basic, maintenance is poor and rooms require significant makeovers. The stairwells are filthy. Parking is available but limited. Will try elsewhere next time.
Pros: Good and clean. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Cons: Very basic, more of a motel style accommodation. Ground level rooms have no privacy. No noise insulation. Very basic for a three star accommodation without proving anything above what is required.
It was an ok stay. Provided everything needed for a decent rest overnight. I was unable to contact the reception after multiple attempts (17) over a two day period as - I left an item behind in the room. Due to the inability to make contact with the hotel, I probably will not stay again or recommend people to stay here.
Clean room with very comfortable beds. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Location of the hotel was very good with easy access to mall and shopping centre.

My family and I have stayed here a few times, and enjoyed it. Located outside the CBD, just off the Stuart Highway, near the Hospital, and Traeger Park. This motel is on two levels, so half of the rooms require guests to lug their kit upstairs. Parking is not allocated to specific rooms, so it is a lottery how close your car ends up to your room. Breakfast is available, and good. Rooms are big enough...
These guys have come a long way since our last visit in 2016 where we vowed to never return. Staff are friendly, the place is clean, grounds immaculate with reasonably seccure parking. We had restful sleeps and felt relaxed and comfortable with our room. This is a budget motel so it provides great value for money.
Great location, motel badly in need of major refurbishment. Bathrooms in particular. Looking tired, unable to take cold shower after working in 40 plus heat. Cold was warm. Very stingy with the complimentary in room coffee. Nescafe, really! Also need cable TV, local channels inadequate.
Have not been here in quite some time, however was pleasantly surprised. Entire area has undergone a facelift, gardens around the pool area have been cleaned up, creating a much more open and inviting space. Inside has also been renovated since my last visit. Great improvement. The Burgers are absolutely amazing, highly recommend, and extremely well priced. Great for dinner. Lunch is NOT served...

We enjoyed our stay here. There was no room service during the Easter holidays, unless asked, but that didn’t bother us too much. The rooms felt a bit dated and air not too fresh, but overall clean and had hot water.
Very average hotel, it’s fine for just a bed if you’re out and about in the day. The room was fairly big but outdated room and bathroom. Not super clean, little bits of mold in the bathroom and very noisy if the next door room has the shower on. It was nice to have a pool in the hot weather but again not very clean, and no outside toilet so you have to go through the restaurant where people are eating...
Far enough yet near enough to the CBD. We walked into town for dinner with the kids every night. We heard the restaurant is very good but we didn’t want to destroy the ambience for the other guests with the horde of children from out group seeing it was finer dining. Friendly staff who were alway willing to help. We arrived at the transition of ownership and coming out of being a lockdown facility...
This day we arrived at Alice Spring and what's important is to check in and relax. Service [2]. Not a good start. Firstly we are given a wrong room key. Luckily, we have the habit to knock on the room door before we enter (saying hello to spirits). Someone opened and gave us a fright. So realised the room was occupied. We went back to the reception and told them what happened before giving us the...
Nice hotel, some of the rooms are a lot more modern than others. Be very careful when paying your hotel bill by card, when you presume you have got to the part where you are supposed to enter your PIN it goes to a screen for leaving a tip! Not very Australian!!!
We had a conference here and used accommodation services as well. Food was amazing. Service was fantastic. The function room was perfect for our needs and I don't say that often. Sadly the shower in the room was terrible. No force and only like warm. Bed was comfy though.

We had a very nice and decent stay in Quest, th rooms are nice and tidy. The service is great and very centrally located to pretty much everything. The rooms have cooking equipment and microwave, toaster etc which is great for an extended stay.
This place is OK, not great. We were supposed to be in 1 bedroom apartment but had a stuff up. So in studio room, way too small for our 5 night stay......no balcony and windows had metal sun shade, so feels like living in a prison. Walls between rooms are thin, so everything is heard. Up on second floor and no lift, stairs are steep. Lots of late night, early hours aggression/fights outside along the...
Clean, spacious and well equipped apartments, but compared with other Quest locations: - no gym - no elevators - small pool not suitable for swimming laps - wifi variable, works in some rooms but not others (I’ve stayed in 4 rooms here) The water in Alice Springs is extremely hard but there’s no water filter here and most of the kettles in the rooms look like the photo attached. However, very friendly...
The staff went above and beyond to assist us after we had a vehicle and caravan accident. We had no where to stay, it was after dark, Alice Springs was booked out, the staff were amazing and not only found us a room for 5 nights, found us the same room for 5 nights. The Secure parking, large rooms and late arrival opposition ( until 1 am) were greatly appreciated. Price per night was competitive...
I met very kindest reception staff The staff was very helpful !! She changed my room for us so that we can reach to our car more closer! Personally I don't have any good experience during travel around Alice spring , but only thing remember as a good experience was stayed in this hotel , Thank you :)
Three stars for the good service and cleanliness of this hotel. The only problem here is the parking spaces are not enough for the number of rooms. And 35% of parking spaces are always reserved to someone which is very unfair. When i asked the receptionist why they are reserving those parking spaces all the time and his answer was they need to reserve it for the doctors. But, why? I do not see the...

The thing I really liked about the Desert Palms, was that you had your own free-standing little villa. You weren't connected to another room, complete privacy.... there was everything you needed to cook a meal. Water pressure was great, great towels and fabulous linen. Rooms were lovely and clean. Definitely stay there again. Thankyou!!!
This is a good place to stay. I find the kitchenette and BBQ facility very handy. However, it’s no daily housekeeping due to staff shortage. Hence, insects around in the room. The pool is great. Great for couples and family travellers.
The rooms are spacious, clean and private. Lovely pool area and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
I'm impressed with the Desert Palms: Very good price if you stay more than 2 nights, great location, rooms (cabins) are beautiful and clean, beds are comfy. Grounds and pool area beautiful. It's not a 5 star luxury resort but great value for money. Easy walk to town centre and so close to great golf club and other resorts with good restaurants. I would stay here again for sure.
Not as handy to town as some places but very tidy little self contained chalets, a little older and in need of a refurb but still ok. Two very quiet days before I flew out of Alice. I would definitely book it again. Only issue is you are a ways away from restaurants etc so go and shop. Apparently there is a golf course restaurant nearby though I didn't go there so cant pass comment on that. Perfectly...
Considering the low prices, the amenities are lovely, the location is central but on the peaceful side of the river and the staff are very friendly.

The service is fantastic and helpful the attached pub and cafe are great with great food and drinks whatever you feel like with service to make your day
This place was amazing to stay at secure and the rooms are great. The only issue we had was the location while trying to sleep the homeless people were having a party and it went all night making it a rough night between yelling, music and police sirens. But the location is also super handy to walk to the shops during the day. The tavern attached to the hotel is amazing also.
Check in process easy with nice staff. Ordered room service which was delivered promptly despite being the busiest time. Room was ok, bathroom a little poor, but overall a nice stay and the most central location in Alice.
Comfortable modern fitted rooms. Surprisingly comfortable rooms and free parking. The model is centrally located and has one of the better bars and restaurants in the town as part of the complex. The bar serves a great range of drinks at reasonable prices and often has live music.
Loved staying here! It's such a central location and they treated us really well. The design of the floor on the bathroom was the only thing we disliked, really - water flowed out of the shower and wet a large portion of the floor, which wasn't fun to navigate around. Otherwise highly recommended!
Nice hotel in good Location. It's only 5mn from shops and restaurants and 15mn from airport. You can have English breakfast next door. The room is large, the bed and bath are Ok, it would nice to be replace them. The staff is friendly.

Lovely hosts - very accommodating and made our stay very comfortable. We stayed in the villa, had everything we needed! Yummy breakfast in the morning. Our dog loved it there too!
Fabulous Hosts - Margaret and Alf were so kind! Lovely comfy bed and delicious breakfasts. Saying Goodbye after our 3 nights stay at the end of July was like leaving good friends!
Finding suitable accommodation can be “ hit and miss” but sometimes you are rewarded with a “HIT” Booking A Good Rest B&B for our week in Alice Springs was definitely a “hit”! Margaret and Alf were great hosts, our studio accommodation was perfect and the bonus was we could bring our dog Rusty. ( I think Rusty was better looked after than we were!....) Thank you Margaret and Alf for making us feel...
The host at A Good Rest, Margaret and Alf, are welcoming, accommodating and kind. The breakfasts included in the tariff are top notch. We stayed 4 nights and Margaret & Alf made us feel at home . They were perfect hosts that go beyond the level of service . They provide a terrific breakfast ( to each individual tastes and requirements) they do beyond to please. They also shared their nice bottles of red wines with us and fed us and other guests pizzas . Just by chance came across the accommodation after all hotels were booked out for the night. Stayed 1 night with my best-friend Tara and so glad we did stay here! The bedrooms were stylish, clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. Margret the owner was very lovely as well as her cute dogs! I would definitely recommend staying here! Great prices for a great stay :)

This place is actually really nice. Was dubious because other motor inns I have stayed are a very much last resort but this place is really well renovated. Good features. Could do with slightly comfier mattresses but otherwise really good place to stay.
Loved staying here! Really clean and quiet room in the east side of Alice. The pool was divine at the end of a hot day and the location was safe and residential, providing a sweet spot to rest our heads after a day of adventure. The owners are on site and super friendly, offering lots of insight into the local community and providing plenty of ideas for what to see and do in Alice. Highly recommend
Had a really nice stay. You have to do the camel ride if you stay, that was so fun and easy to book. Clean rooms and really nice staff.
Nice Place. Large rooms a pool and overall a good Experience! But one night the reception lady came into the room without knocking or reason (I hope it was mistake)

Everything is clean, the kitchen is super spacious and well organised. And the pool is a great chill place ! I really enjoy my stay there, Matt and Aimee were so nice. They were super helpful, Matt was so chill and welcoming! They made me feel right at home. Loved my stay in this YHA
Receptionists were friendly & helpful. Easy early check out & late check in. I wouldn't book a 4bed dorm again. Better choose a room with 8 or more beds which are in a separate renovated building. The airconditioner wasn't working at both of my stays. And the olderly rooms are facing a noisy neighborhood as well. Small room & power sockets are not practical either. The rooms were clean but public area...
I stayed a week at YHA and loved it! The rooms were comfortable and clean and this kitchen/common area was such a nice place to relax after spending the day in the heat. Would definitely recommend!!
Very nice hostel and wonderful people working there. It can get cold in the room at night around this time of the year, so don't be shy to ask for a heater (they are available!). I had a great time in Alice Springs and on my camping trip. I would recommend that you definitely come to this spot on earth to see for yourself how great it is. Thanks again YHA Alice Springs!
Loved my four night stay here between trips on The Ghan. The woman on reception was very friendly and helpful. Inside there was a courtyard and pool, with a movie shown each night. Very few people watched. My room, a private double, was pretty spacious, the bed was comfortable and there was a wee table and two chairs. WiFi worked flawlessly. Shared toilet and showers seemed OK, didn't really go into...
I had the most amazing time here. Anna is so lovely and helpful. I planned to stay only 1 night and do the Uluṟu tour. I ended up staying 3 nights. She always had a smile and said hi and how are you. A good place to sleep, but not much of a social atmosphere. There were a lot of small booths/tables and I found that layout makes it hard to get to know people. Its much more natural when there are big group tables. There didn't seem to be any social events at the hostel while I was there. The beers at the attached bar were very expensive, as was the food. The beer was good and I appreciated the bartender...
Wonderful place to stop before/after a tour, I only stayed 1 night and would have been happy to stay more. Comfortable mattress, bathroom attached to dorm room and reasonably quiet. Breakfast included, kitchen to prepare your own food or great meals available at the bar. Friendly staff and there was even entertainment in an open mic night when i stayed. Recommended and i would stay again.
I was struck by the friendliness of the staff from the moment I arrived at Jump Inn. Staff were always friendly and courteous and happy to help with any queries. The place itself has an enclosed courtyard with pool, and lots of open air seating, with shelter. The trees in the courtyard provide a cool place to sit when it's hot! The kitchen is well run, and guests follow and respect the way it is run...
I enjoyed the stay at Jump Inn. I found it to be very comfortable (best hostel bed I think I've ever slept in!), with a great atmosphere at the bar/lounge area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although I found the walk to town a little longer than what I'd normally feel comfortable doing at night, I would stay again for the overall hostel experience and atmosphere. For improvements however...
We really enjoyed our short time at Jump Inn, the vibes were really cool. The bar area was a really nice area to wind down and have a few drinks. The bed was nice and comfy, especially after spending a few days camping in swags. Our room was nice and clean but perhaps a small bedside table would have been useful for personal belongings. One problem we had was that the water from the shower went all...
