Nice and clean 4 star hotel. Room booked would be really small for 2 people but for a solo traveller, it was fine. Perfect really for a place to drop off bags in and/or sleep in. Prices were reasonable and location 5 minutes away from the CBD.

My kids stayed in their hotel room only to wake up the next day with bites all over them. When I collected them the next morning. Spoke to management about it and they were very rude. I suggested it was bed bugs and he refused saying it was not and wouldn’t even look into it. We went to the drs and they suggested that the bites were most likely from bed bugs. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone

Comfy bed, room so clean. Lovely staff.
Be good if there was a non slip mat in the shower. Min was over a bath, and that quite a big step. There was a hand rail, but I did slip as I got out.

Booked for early check-in, but arrived Very early and was just going to leave our bags in reception. But luckily for us Mark at reception had a room that we were able to have. We were very tired after travelling all night ,so we were ecstatic with this. The George Williams hotel has super staff as well as a lovely establishment. Recommend very highly.

The George Williams is like nothing I've seen before, and it's smack dab in the perfect spot! The whole vibe around here is super chill and welcoming. And the hotel is on point with their theme - the rooms are great, and the beds are so cozy! Plus, the staff were all awesome and totally made me feel at ease during my stay. Honestly, I can't recommend this place enough - you should check it out!

Walking distance from centre of town, queen street mall area etc, also not too far from north quay if you want to take a ferry

Great location, terrace room but office buildings look into it so didn’t use. Yes rooms are small but location fantastic.
The reason for not giving 4 was the smell that hit us when we walked into our room after being out for a few hours every time.
Highly recommend the restaurant, lovely food and the staff are extremely helpful.

Close to amenities. Bed n pillows are comfy. Clean. Reasonable price. Would be nice if the housekeepers were a bit more gentle when doing their work. Could hear their convo and banging doors.
