Connection to train Fragrance in hotel Room service options. Raspberry sorbet is unbelievable thank you. Friendly and efficient staff on reception. Excellent concierge and Porters Excellent female chef on eggs on Friday 25/9 Seating hostess on breakfast in all black outfit was excellent. Some breakfast staff need to remember it’s hospitality!
We got married there 34 years ago and it's still a fantastic place for a wedding. We had a wonderful time Saturday night. Staff were exceptional 👌.
Have had lunch here 3 times now. Each time has been great. Went today and best yet. Had the lunch menu. Absolutely loved the Moreton bug roll. Service by Linda and Ernst was impeccable. Apparently Ernst in training but great service and so nice. Linda was fabulous and we had a wonderful lunch. BEST EVER. We are going back tomorrow unbeatable. Thanks Ernst and Linda. 5 stars.
Great service! Ample parking! Great staff! The best food I’d say! Haven’t been to a hotel that does such good Pakistani food. The food was so flavoursome and the buffet was arranged beautifully! Only let down for the night was air-conditioning. It was constantly getting too hot. Which is a big deal on weddings that already are stressful. The staff though were understanding and were doing their best...
Fabulous location in every way. If you're traveling by train you step into the Central Station complex and then it's just a matter of getting on to an escalator and you're at the hotel. If you're using your car, you drive to the main entrance where a valet takes over and parks your car for you. If you want to explore the Brisbane city, it's literally at your feet. And as the city itself is designed...
The hotel location isn’t too bad being right above central station with internal access ways. The lobby was spacious and inviting and the reception staff were attentive and friendly. The floors rooms and hallways were very outdated with musty odours masked by cleaning sprays. If you have sensitivities you may find the smells and poor ventilation a problem. The rooms were carpeted and old but well...

Fantastic hotel. Great staff and lots of bonus inclusions which add real value to your stay. Tariff reasonable. Central location. Highly recommended!
Probably the best business hotel I've stayed in Brisbane. Rooms are modern contemporary design and everything is meticulously designed and thought for the convenience of the business traveler. Special mention about the smartphone based concierge and TV infotainment is worthy. Best I've experienced in any hotel in Australia or elsewhere. Bonus: 4 items per night from the mini bar free of charge ;)
Outstanding! Rooms are superb! Very classy and have very cool features. Staff and awesome! Pool and terrace bar is a great place to have an afternoon drink!

Got a bridge view room for the Riverfire. My kids loved the convenience of being able to see the fireworks from the bedroom window.
Wonderful hotel. Stayed here for only one night. But it was great. The bed is comfortable, room was tidy and cleaned. Style-wise is a bit dated side but maintained well. The best is the view, in our room can see the story bridge which is amazing!! Definitely recommend or at least give it a try!
Great location and good view if you get river view. Also the river walk is super close and has great view of the story bridge and skyline. Check in was little messy. Had to go to front desk again to get the river view room which they said would be but it wasn't when they moved me to higher floor per my request (River View with higher floor was my request) Room 2012: First thing I noticed was how...
Stunning views and beautiful, clean, facilities including a large heated pool and spa, and spacious gym. Buffet breakfast and room service quality was lovely. The staff were the most genuinely helpful and kind people, arriving for impromptu accommodation when holiday plans failed, the front desk team immediately offered support and complimentary juice to my son which honestly made a huge difference...
Stayed here for a Saturday night on our wedding anniversary. By pure good fortune, we scored an upgrade to the Presidential Suite no less. Nice note congratulating us on arrival and also complimentary wine and a snack brought to the room (with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate on the plate). The car valet service meant that once the car was dropped off, I didn't have to worry about it for the...
We had a fabulous stay at the Marriott in Brisbane. We found the location perfect for our wants. The staff and amenities were excellent. We have a big praise for Daphne and the team in the restaurant buffet breakfast area. They all worked so hard and had exceptional service. Thank you Daphne for help with a birthday surprise for my partner. We would stay again 😊

Brisbane, 392 Upper Roma Street 🧭 Map
The location is convenient, there's a great view of the city from the rooftop with good communal facilities. However, the rooms are not up to the current specification of YHA Australia. There was also a lot of noise coming from the communal areas throughout the night until about 7am. Luckily I had earplugs.
The communal areas in the hostel are great - beaut rooftop area and the kitchen is spacious. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. However, I think the hostel should specify if a room doesn’t have a window. I was in a shared 6 bed room and the lack of a proper window made it feel very dark and depressing / stuffy (think I was unlucky as other rooms looked nicer). The toilets are also very...
Overall standart hostel. Rooms are clean. Nice rooftop bar and kitchen. The kitchen is huge but there is not enough indoor seating at the kitchen for rainy days. Also people stealing food from the fridge. Reception said that happens from time to time. There should be an opportunity given to secure food in the fridge if this is the case.
Good price great service, and a pretty standard hostel experience all around. We booked to stay in a shared 4 bed female dorm, the room was clean and air con worked well. Only issue is having all the power points in the cupboard not near the beds. There’s quite a lot of noise from slamming doors (they all clunk very loudly), and because we were here in school holidays there was a school group on our...
Very nice and very clean. Everything was in order for my room. Bathrooms and sinks we're all like new. Walls were a bit bumped up but had no real effect on my stay. Layout it cozy, location is good for walking as well. As an overnight guest this was just right for me.
No free luggage storage, there are lockers, safer but you need to pay for it. Rooftop pool and the terrace is nice (the city view itself isn’t as good tho don’t put your hopes up) The entire hostel is clean and modern, also there’s a spacious kitchen. Staffs are friendly. The cafe serves breakfast with reasonable price.

Beautiful location with comfortable rooms. The "kids stay for free" is super deceiving. They don't state that the kids actually have to sleep in the same bed as you. We stayed with our 11 year old daughter and when we checked in we were told there wasn't two beds.. and we had to pay an extra $60 for a fold out bed. Parking is limited and $50 for $24 hours. Common area is extremely outdated with walls...
Very happy with Stamford Plaza, pricing and location is great. Rooms big and beds comfortable. Onsite parking for first in first served basis. 49 a day which is acceptable. Highly recommend the hotel for all as it's in the quiet part of city. River views also are nice. Will be back definitely
The rooms here are older in style but is in excellent condition. This hotel is wonderful. Great service, great in-room dining, fast wi-fi, comfy bedding, great air-conditioning and overall its simply wonderful. I've had an excellent stay here. Tip - make sure you put towels on the floor in the bathroom to prevent slips after a bath or shower. I really don't know why other people that have reviewed...
My experience at this place was ok, although I don't think I would return giving the amount we spent for a rather simple dish with long wait times. I feel the atmosphere could do with a bit of a shake-up, and service could definitely be improved. We waited over 15 minutes for a simple beer and wine order. The restaurant has the potential to be great. Hopefully, things get sorted.
Lovely view of storeys bridge and river from our suite. Next door to Botanic gardens. Very comfortable. Great location. Easy walking distance for shopping, supermarkets, restaurants and tourist spots.
Good old fashioned five stars experience with just the right mix of current age funkiness.....but that's just my opinion...I'm 54. Discreet and excellent five star service. Great menu options with surprising value! Some big names could take a leaf here! Five star experience is not all about latest trendy decor and in your face service often falling short. I worked in hotels years ago so it’s not a novelty for me to stay during business travel but in the Hilton it was. Great location to the mall. The buffet breakfast was good with lots of options. Skip the hotel restaurant and go to one of the many dinner options on the mall. There are also multiple food courts in 5 minute walking distance. Hotel had typical hotel gym with a few dumbbells, a few treadmills and a cable machine. Hotel has outside pool and hot tub.
Went here for a seminar. We were well looked after by hotel staff with a great set up considering the number of attendees. Great spot to enjoy the night in the city. Connected to the Myer centre. Access to street frontage. We were so blessed with two beautiful dessert platters to celebrate our anniversary and a milestone birthday. Kate at the front desk was a delight and made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Nice, clean, comfortable, perfectly serviceable hotel in a great location with generally pretty good service from staff. Ageing building with basic facilities and air conditioner rattling all night. Quite annoying how there isn't any parking at the hotel. I don't like having to walk through the shopping mall with my belongings to get to the foyer, and then pay $35 for the privilege! I only stayed for 1 night, checking in in the evening, then gone in the morning. No complaints. The room was clean and functional. Lots of TV channels to choose from. I didn't use the restaurant or room service so can't comment on that. I did use the bar later in the evening and found it was very nice with interesting decor.

Location is great. Easy to walk to shops and nearby restaurant. My room only had 1 side table and lamp so the lighting was a bit dark when trying to work. Also, there was no hot water on my final morning. Concierge staff were really helpful with directions to local places.
As I got in to the room, there was a many issues with maintenance. When I was booking it was showing an error for upgrading the room. I asked the reception if I can upgrade it, reception told me there is no room available. But when I jump on the website there was plenty of room available. So it wasn't good for me although I have stayed at 13th floor. It was a good experience to stay on the heights...
Great location, easy walking distance from the mall, the river and the sights of the city. Many restaurants with varied cuisines and shops in the area nearby. The hotel itself also has good restaurant options and 24 hour room service. The beds were comfortable and there were sufficient amenities available. Decent sized gym for a good workout, Overall a good experience
Thought this was a 5 star hotel but unfortunately not no communication from staff behind the desk for our enquiries no water in the rooms so after purchasing several bottles we were told they were at the desk. As per usual the rooms and service were good. For a 4-5 star hotel, I would like to see an improvement in the breakfast offered with the room. Was very average and would recommend not taling the included breakfast unless you only prefer cereals and yoghurts. Other than that very pleasant, nicely situated to the city, and facilities are good especially roof top bar, very nice.
best thing was the location! being 5star, glad I didn't pay for this stay. breakfast was very simple & standard, again glad I didn't have to pay (work paid trip). Bed was superior & super comfy, extra blanket in cupboard would have been handy.

The point is we’ll positioned with everything you need for a business stay. Rooms are spacious and most have a balcony. Excellent restaurant with a quaint bar . Plenty of free onsite parking is a welcome bonus . If you want to eat out the storey bridge hotel is a 5 minute walk .
Such a great place to stay! All staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was clean equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The view was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails at the rooftop bar. Finding the hotel and parking was very easy.... we will definitely be coming back!
We had stayed here previously and was looking forward to returning. At check-in, the staff were welcoming and friendly, not so much at check out, we weren't even asked if we had enjoyed our stay. Anyway, our room was nice and got the room as pictured. It wasn't away from the road as requested, but c'est la vie. Breakfast was lovely each day. A potentially good hotel but not for me. The bed is way too soft l, and road noise is high from the nearby Story Bridge main road, especially in peak hours. It’s about 20 years old and so a little dated but still in good shape. On the plus side, my executive room was large, as per the booking, and the staff are above average and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely stay. The Balcony room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, cleanliness of hotel was good. This location is hard to beat, The Sage is located in the heart of James Street with excellent restaurants and bars on it's doorstep. The beds at the Sage are sooo comfortable. I also love how dark the rooms are - you are guaranteed a restful night!
Pleasantly surprised! Got upgraded to a new room on last night and wish I was the the full 3 nights. Great space, staff and location for the price
The MOST comfortable bed, pillows made of clouds, curtains that block the entire outside out (if that’s what you want) and all the amenities you could want in a studio hotel room to come back and collapse in after cutting a rug on a wedding dance floor. Didn’t want to leave my cocoon of bliss. Thanks for a great stay!
Great hotel! Absolutely would recommend to anyone who's wanting a hotel in the Valley. Location is fantastic, walking distance to alot of restaurants and clubs. Our rooms were very nice, cozy and most importantly, clean! The staff are really friendly, and gave good service. Will happily stay here again in the future.
Amazing hotel in a great location. Our room was more than adequate, clean and well presented. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, parking was easy. Highly recommend this place for your next stay in or near brisbane city.
100% recommended. Great location on James st. I was very satisfied with nice reception and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I was planning to stay only 1 night, ended up stayed 3 nights. Great experience from beginning to end. Greeted with a smile, can I get your bag? How was your day? So warm and welcoming. The rooms were nice and amazing views of the city and Brisbane River. Food was good too buy a little pricey. However all in all, well worth it!
Stayed here twice for business over the past 3 months. Apart from being free because of work it is a great hotel with well trained and courteous staff. Nice bar with awesome bar tenders.
Great location. Clean rooms. Has balconies which is great ! You can sit and enjoy Brisbane’s weather. The breakfast is lower than average. So basic which might you can get from outside for 20. Hotel Jen in a great place to stay. Lovely clean room, good bed (very important), great staff service. Location is great also. I was a lone traveller and enjoyed my stay immensely.
Super helpful staff. We lost a cell phone and Kate, at the front desk, was able to track it down and personally deliver it back to us. Now that's great customer service. Aside from that, the room is very spacious, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. It's clean! And the price is very fair. No complaints here.
My fourth and fifth visits to the Hotel Jen last week were seamless. Your staff are professional, highly trained, efficient and friendly. We were very tired after travelling all night ,so we were ecstatic with this. The George Williams hotel has super staff as well as a lovely establishment. Recommend very highly.
The George Williams is like nothing I've seen before, and it's smack dab in the perfect spot! The whole vibe around here is super chill and welcoming. And the hotel is on point with their theme - the rooms are great, and the beds are so cozy! Plus, the staff were all awesome and totally made me feel at ease during my stay. Honestly, I can't recommend this place enough - you should check it out!
Close to amenities. Bed n pillows are comfy. Clean. Reasonable price. Would be nice if the housekeepers were a bit more gentle when doing their work. Could hear their convo and banging doors.
We selected an economical room, and that is what we got. Little natural light and of an irregular shape. Quite adequate to sleep, but not to spend much time in. Location great for walking around the city and boardwalks.

I stayed at View Brisbane for two weeks while in town for work. Not only were the staff incredibly attentive, they also went above and beyond to make you feel more at home. My room was clean upon my arrival, and the housekeeping staff kept it immaculate throughout my stay. The food in the restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced. All of the staff were great, but Lyam definitely went the extra mile...
What a great time we had! On arrival, the front desk female was not very warm and welcoming. She did not give us more than a 'hello, here's your card'. Nothing extra, no info. When we went to the bar, everything changed! Lyam was INCREDIBLE!!!! He gave us a whole tour of the place, gave us the info and was so welcoming! Every night we attended the bar. He remembered us, he remembered our drinks, he...
Nice place to stay if your intent is to explore and not stay there most of the time. Parking is so expensive just park on the street, there's always a spot. The art there is a little weird, but I loved the quirkiness of the hotel. Robes need an upgrade actually The pool and amendments honestly need a little revival but nice to swim
A friend and I booked The View for a chilled long weekend. What an absolute pleasure our stay has been. Most significant were the staff. Plates Restaurant staff were lovely and Liam in Chester’s Bar was superb (after one day he knew our order and had it ready - and drinks by the pool were a special treat). The lady who cleaned our room was friendly and clearly took great pride in her job. Our room...
Spent 3 nights and 4 days here. Was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was beautiful. Quick service and nice hot food. Room service was excellent. Really enjoyed our time in the bar before and after dinner each night. The friendly bar tender Lyam was so attentive. He explained everything about what went into the cocktails. He was very jovial friendly...
Convenient to the airport and racecourse. Interior reminds me of old English style. Parking is easy with lots of off street and underground parking. Security was a bit slack when I was there. Noone checked where I was going (i was visiting a guezt3in the hotel) who I was or who I was visiting. I walked straight to the lift with no problem. Bedroom is tidy and reasonably spacious. Wardrobe is in the...

Staff members were lovely. Loved the art work and artistic feel of the hotel. Thank you for a lovely few nights!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just had an amazing stay at the Inchcolm (Ovolo Hotel) in Brisbane! 🏨 Check-in was a breeze, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even let us check in early when I had a coffee disaster! ☕ Changing into clean clothes was a lifesaver. 🙌 They were so understanding when I temporarily misplaced my wallet, accepting a photo of my ID. 📸 Plus, free drinks during cocktail...
We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was just incredibly beautiful. The rooms and building was so cool to see and just hang around in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I've already booked the weekend for our 1st wedding anniversary 😀
Such a great experience staying here. This hotel is pet friendly & they did a great job accomodating - my two girls got dog beds, toys, treats, food, blankets & bowls, I was very impressed & they loved it! The staff are so friendly & gave great customer service. The hotel is unique & fits well with the ‘boutique’ name. The bed & pillows are also really comfy & overall had a great night staying here
Very comfortable stay. The staff were great and made us feel welcome. The room was well appointed. Particularly enjoyed the mini bar/drinks area. Comfy bed. The bathroom was large, with options of a tub and a rainfall shower. Room service was great. Very fast. The food was so tasty. Shout out to the Morton Bay bug tagliarini. It was so good when we ordered in room that we ordered it again in the restaurant...
