Fab location; terrific staff; the property itself is tired and in desperate need of a post covid face lift.
The rooms are clean and very tidy, but so very dark. I stayed in a studio suite which suited my needs - good sized room, and great to have a kitchenette, but only had a microwave. A cooktop would have been great.

Great,clean and tidy rooms 3to 4 starts.right in the middle of town,walk to lots of things.friendly staff, pool area small but adequate with fresh towels.close to Coles and Safeway.

This hotel there is no customer service. This is a self check in & check out Hotel. On arrival there was no Shampoo, only one towel for a room of 4 people room. The room had no hot water for the first morning. I told a duty Manager about my issues. She said she did not know about the shampoo issue, she said she did not know about the hot water issue. She said she would get
Me some Shampoo. My wife called reception straight after this. Ricardo a receptionist answered. He said we have had complaints from many rooms about hot water not working this morning. Ricardo was honest and told us the truth. Why didn’t the Duty Manager tell us the truth as well.
The kettle is so dirty inside see picture.

I would not recommend this hotel to stay at.
Me some Shampoo. My wife called reception straight after this. Ricardo a receptionist answered. He said we have had complaints from many rooms about hot water not working this morning. Ricardo was honest and told us the truth. Why didn’t the Duty Manager tell us the truth as well.

Nice place to stay . Have maccasal in front hair dresser N th shopping mall plus trtuarant. Also fog friendly.
I have allergic to carpet, so it wasn't good as the dust was in the carpet, and we both developed cough itchy and running nose. When in reception, I had to be quiet, which my son wasn't happy
Here, I couldn't figure out at 4 years you have to be quiet and when he just started talking a few months back and were more nos with furniture with yes. The reception sitting is good.
The building looked like a cell . It is amazing how buildings were made in olden days. The view of the mall is nice. The room service was awesome . She cleaned and set up my bed, everything she came to and everyone spoke nicely. They have two happy face vacuum cleaners, and for my son, it felt like a buddy.
Just remember to get a mattress protector for your toddlers and babies s their not waterproof. If it gets wet, you need to pay $50

Good centrally located hotel. Rooms neat and clean, staff helpful and friendly. Only downside for me was no food or restaurant. Staff referred me to Salvatore's around the corner a short walk away. This restaurant was quite good with a varied menu and reasonably priced, probably cheaper than hotel prices.

Rooms smelly and bathroom sink mouldy and no ventilation in bathroom. The room was clean enough. Staff not there at most times so a few things were self service. We went at low season so no comment on hotel food.

Kind of disappointed since Rydges is a reputable 4star hotel chain and this one does not meet the standards. Smells like an old establishment.

Great location, walking distance to shopping centre including Coles. Plenty of hot water for shower and room is looking clean. Check in is not the easiest with the app. It is easy to get the room cleaned via the app.

Spacious, clean, quiet, good blockout curtains, Comfy-enough beds. Very mediocre customer service let this place down. I don’t rate the do-it-yourself, human-less check-in and check-out and any staff we did see ignored us. On arrival we struggled to get a luggage trolley out from behind a bunch of linen trolleys in the foyer while the guy behind reception just looked on and offered no assistance and was not attending to anyone else. We then preceded to the elevator (no direction) and was swiping for access and he just laughed because it wasn’t the right elevator. Gee thanks. Extremely poor room service choice, especially if you don’t like Italian! It’s just from the restaurant downstairs that is never open. Also, room service closed so early. A friendly staff experience would have improved our stay immensely but the place itself was as good as expected.
