We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Port Mill . The accommodation was quaint with a lovely outlook & the location was close to all the things to see in Freemantle. Our breakfasts were a good start to the day. We were warm & cosy. The woman who looked after us was lovely
I had a wonderful stay at Port Mill. The lady on reception was wonderful and helped me with my luggage. The breakfast was lovely and I had everything I would need in my room. Also the position is excellent, a very short walk to the markets, restaurants and bars. Will definitely return!
Enjoyed our stay. Lovely ambiance as you get through the gate in to the courtyard with fountain in centre. Felt like we were in a little bit of Italy! Nice greeting at reception. Very comfortable room. Breakfast looked awesome but we had to leave early so wasn’t able to sit and enjoy. Unfortunately I did knocked the milk bottle and spilt the milk. (Bottle doesn’t sit properly in the top of the fridge...
Great location, very close to shops and restaurants that we wanted to visit. Comfortable bed. Easy check in and out, breakfast was nice. Would stay again.
Super nice location and very comfortable stay. Breakfast was super nice too.
Very French provincial. Room is clean and adorable. The continental breakfast was amazing and very fresh. Cold not get the air conditioner to work besides fan and there were two exhaust fans in the bathroom but they did not work. Very quick and informative check-in. Would definitely stay again.

Was looking for a Sunday roast and they delivered. Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, roast veg & peas. Large meal, alright price $25. Delicious, thoroughly recommend. A few dining areas to choose from. Inside near the bar, which is old style pub feel. In the atrium or in the beer garden.
Room were clean but if you want to sleep then no. The walls are paper thin, and when you walk in there is ear plugs on the bed side tables. Showers are ok but the water has to run for about 5 minutes to get any sort of hot water. We had been out and went back to listen to the DJ and have a couple of drinks. Security let us in and spike to us know worries. The young guy at the bar asked how many we...
We booked the Fedral boutique hotel for our hens night! The three of us shared one room. The room was Large, The bathroom is clean, and the Aircon and fan was a lifesaver. We stayed on a Saturday night so it was loud, but the accommodation provided foam earplugs. The staff were really lovely! Be aware there aren’t any lifts -so you will be climbing stairs with your luggage.
This place is stunning and so beautiful. Drinks and food are well priced. Vegetables are a selection, not just chips and slaw, that seem to be a WA thing? We visited mid week, the schnitzel mushrooms gravy and vegetables for a travel weary were delicious 😋
Hotel: clean&great Tea Room. Loud on weekends (the pub!) Luggage storing after checkout. Free WiFi is bad, A/C is poor. Order ur invoice properly-even agreed before, can't be changed after. Irish!
Wedges are amazing also try the soda bread, absolutely delicious 

Good hostel, I'm glad I found it and chose to stay here not too far from the station close to Fremantle Market. Will definitely be back next time 🙂
It was a unique experience to stay in the oldest prison in western australia. We had a double decker in one of the cell blocks and showered in a ild shower that inmates used to use back in the day. Its walking distance to the markets and cafes. Great place to stay
very near fremantle market. about 15-20min walk from fremantle ferry terminals which was great. the room was relatively clean. the rooms has no aircon but there's a small fan, u went it November so it was not hot. fun experience.

Had a wonderful stay here. Michael went above and beyond to make our stay special. Very clean rooms and high quality linen. Great position opposite shark net and lifeguards on Cottesloe Beach. General Store 5 minutes walk away does lovely coffee and pastries baked on site. Quick room service.
Food was delicious. Pizzas were definitely a must try. All mains were great sizes. Share plates also very good sizes, loved the squid. Service was great. Hotel does need to be renovated, very old and run down.
Booked in for a post wedding drinks and nibbles gathering. Great vibe, Little creatures on Tap and delicious sour dough pizzas. We had a great time!
Absolutely Excellent service! Michael at reception was amazing the staff in the bar and restaurant were amazing. They went above and beyond for me and I wasn’t even a guest there. All my requests to make things special for my brother and partner was an absolute success! Thank you so much for the great service team. Appreciate all the effort you put in to make things happen for them x
Stayed here for a week in March 2012. Loved the place, easy access to the city and Fremantle. The beach is close by - chalet is not directly opposite the beach which is good - cooler in the afternoon and evening. Unit was comfortable, receptionist was friendly. Supermarket is not far away, fish and chips shop is nearby. Will return here next time I visit Perth

Superb staff, fantastic meal at the restaurant, quiet and safe location near the beach, well-kept older building with art-deco charm. Competitively priced with unique character. Had a great stay and will come back again on the next trip!
Small room We stayed to sleep overnight after the party so it was okay but if for a holiday room was very small & no room for luggage. Also hotel doesn’t have parking, only few bays of all day parking on the street next to hotel otherwise have to park 2 block away.
Great location, bike rental included. Also as a bonus they gave drinks at the bar
You can walk out of this property in your bathers and be in the ocean 250m away. Yay!
This place is WAY over priced for what you get. It’s pretty basic which is fine if you’re paying a pretty basic rate to stay here. We had ( I think) one of the best rooms with corner terrace. It was good, the views are nice and the staff are friendly but the toilets are kind of hidden at the back up some stairs with minimal signage. Food was good but not legendary; for the price, you could go anywhere else and have a similar thing. Overall a nice experience
The double oom was okay. It was clean and it had a fridge and a water boiler. I liked the fact that it had a private bathroom ☺. What I disliked was the music non stop until 11pm!!! Great location as it has easy access to the CBD (bus stop basically outside front door) and other Perth locations. Also very easy walking distance to good selection of restaurants and shops. We were sceptical about this place when we booked it but we were pleasantly surprised with the room. It was very clean, tidy and quiet. PROS: close to everything, quiet (as in no party but some construction is going on), clean, easy self checkin, pay parking next door. CONS: no social interactions, poor and basic facilities, mainly working guys, no aircon.
Not bad, not great. 0 communication or interaction from staff, did not see a single staff member my entire stay. No one to check in or out, so if privacy & being left alone is your thing, this is the perfect place for you. Not your typical “hostel” experience. Is quiet & people keep to themselves, which again for some is a plus. Although, there were a few solo men in their 50’s + who gave odd vibes...
Self check in was good. The hostel is really quiet and calm. It's nice to not have a hostel that's full of party people. They have strict rules here. Good for mature people.
Great place close to the city, and always meeting great people, i would recommend if you are a traveller passing by and got a good experience of this town.
Everything is great for the location, cleanliness, noise control, and good for self checkin. I don't mind for phone call receptionist. No free coffee / tea / sugar in the share kitchen while I was staying there. After all its hostel, but sadly its pricey these days.

This is a hostel not a lodge but it was okay. My work mate stays there and he loves it. Landlord doesnt really care what you do as long as you pay..??
It's not fancy, but for few days are perfect!! The reception Asian woman was really nice!! Walking distance to go to woolly supermarket and few of good cafés!!

Clean neat and tidy but why do they charge so much for parking ??
We were really happy with our stay. Central to everywhere, friendly staff and comfy beds.
Location is perfect, close toCBD and near Cat station to city, will stay again
Everything is good from location, parking except the bed mattress. It need new mattress springs. Carpet has stains. Overall is good
I booked two rooms for 4 people. You can cook. The room is big enough and the view from the balcony is also good.
Great location & spacious room! The check in time is only till 4pm, if you arrive late try to contact the property directly, I leave a comment on Trip.Com to inform property on my late arrival but I didn't receive any update after that, luckily I manage to contact someone on site to help me with, he share that he try to email and call me on the instructions to check in after 4pm but didn't manage to...

Just a good place to stay for my life style got everything I need such as great staff cleaning services close to City and most importantly great rates very good price for private room I enjoyed staying there
I had a wonderful time until the Momsen found me and put her hands down my pants. I now have PTSD and the police need to catch this predator
It was a very nice accommodation Absolutely fantastic staff members Way far better than other backpackers. Very affordable and reasonable price Very tidy and pleasant stay for short and long term accomodation.
Can’t complain at much because of the price. Here are some pros and cons anyway. Pros: cheap, powerful showers, wide comfy-enough beds, great location, 24 hour check in desk and good air con (though can get v cold). Cons: Thin walls, quite dirty kitchen and facilities, had to make own beds on arrival which was not ideal when we arrived at 2:30am and couldn’t see a thing, terrible WiFi, can’t bring...
Would've given a 4 star as good prices, showers are hot with good power, rooms have aircon and friendly staff at reception, but the beds we stayed in had bedbugs. Also had to make own beds when arriving which isn't ideal although it is a huge hostel so would take the staff a lot of time. Rooms are good enough but nothing fancy. Seemed a pretty social place but wasn't staying for long. Parking is on...
A nice and affordable hostels for backpackers in Perth, Western Australia. The building is very nice. It has historic values as well as the building was served as a military barracks. The employees were very friendly as well.

Stayed there for a couple of days and it was nice. Friendly staff, nice people and very close to the Center of Perth (1 Bus stop and it's free)! The tidiness is okay compared to others. No backpackers is perfect. You should give it a shoot, if you want to a have cheap home!
Small not very private bathrooms, really hot kitchen, but also really good location (due to the free public transport to the city directly in front of the door). Great outdoor and lounge areas
Location of this place its very close to the centrum of Perth. Cool for one night, service its good, rooms are big but the toilets are to much dirty
Get what you pay for, very friendly a lot dirty.
