Perfect inner city location. Easy and convenient from the airport. Great customer service on check in and check out. Clear instructions regarding parking arrangements
Best hotel I've stayed at so far. Reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because I found a couple of stains on the bed blankets. The HVAC was very poor. But other then that it was pretty good.
A very centrally located hotel with spacious rooms at a reasonable price. Parking was easy and only costs $6 overnight. It does get full though. Even though the hotel is dated, it's clean and perfectly fine. Would stay again.
It's a dated amazing place like the hotel you watched on the Shinning. The vibe inside is great and have friendly staff. One night we received a call from the reception to let us know that we left one of our car windows open. They are thoughtful! They have netflix!
Very nice central hotel with pleasant accommodation. Loved having a dressing gown to cuddle into and watch TV. If I had one criticism it would be the foyer area. Its a lovely place to sit and the first thing guests see but I feel the colour scheme could do with a bit of updating. Its such a dowdy colour. It obviously hasn't been updated for years which is fine but just a few tweaks here and there...
The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The buffet breakfast was well planned and delicious especially the cereal selection.

Staff are great and we had option to have free breakfast every morning during our stay. Bit hard to park as the parking area is too congested. We checked in at late night and the checkin process is very easy and the reception staff provided all the info we need as we are new to the city.
Stayed here on Monday night to Tuesday Morning on 24 to 25th July 2023, it had a prestige feel to it compared to other hotels i've stayed at for work. Central to everything, friendly staff, very clean.
This hotel was an old hospital converted into a great place to stay. Checked in with virgin airline staff. Great location. Room keys are very sensitive and disable when kept with you’re phone. So avoid the headache and keep separate
Lovely hotel. Best service at any hotel I have found in my experience. Large clean rooms and the restaurant is worth a trip also. Recommend both accommodation and trying out the restaurant
Stayed for a short period of time due to necessity. The staff were a delight. Genuine, honest and empathic. Top notch really. Normal humans. I would love to have them as my slaves. The dining was secluded and far from pretentious. Yet up to date, impressive and quite flavoursome. The ingredients, understandable, and the produce, fresh. Well done. I dropped my 24 k white Italian gold necklace on the...
Reception staff were super nice. Clean but not super impressive. Room was a good size and a good temperature. The hotel felt quite dated and the pillows were too big. Got a big waft of cigarette smoke at/near the entrance.

Wonderful service and equally wonderful location. Super large rooms, with a comfortable ( but firm ) bed and nice large showers. Kicking back in the sofa in the TV area of the room is comfortable. River view tooms are well worth it to see the bridge over the river lit up at night time. Parking is an extra $15 when staying at Peppers Seaport! Close to the city with only a 10min walk, close to restaurants...
The rooms were really good-comfy beds and specious. However one or two scratches on the wall could be repainted. The staff were friendly and knew what they were doing. The location is good-right next to the sea and a good view
We stayed at Peppers for one night with our 4month old baby. The staff were so accommodating for him, they set up his cot, let us use their baby bath, bouncer and even brought in a high chair, although we couldn’t quite use it yet. The staff were great and even upgraded our room! The room was perfect, had a great view was totally clean and we were able to do some washing as it had a washer and dryer...
Our stay was fantastic. Very nice rooms, staff are brilliant, helped us with late check out etc. Location is perfect, definitely stay there again, 30/6/2023.
Our room on the river side had fantastic view. Rooms are having carpet replaced. Should also do an overall maintenance review. Also do something about wireless internet connection.
Hotel was clean, rooms were a good size, bathroom was much bigger than we were expecting it to be. Free wifi. Plenty of parking, you can opt for secure parking for a fee but it didn’t seem to be necessary, nice communal seating area to have a hot or alcoholic drink from the bar. Restaurant food was excellent all be it quiet expensive. We would definitely stay there again but maybe dine elsewhere next...

Hassle-free stay for a quick business trip. Service was great. I ate at the in-house restaurant for two breakfasts and two dinners, and all meals were delicious, and served by friendly staff.
We stayed for three nights at the end of December. It was a good stay, though the rep at the reception wanted to charge us for a folding bed though i booked a room for two adults and one child. I asked to call the manager of the hotel who resolved the issue immediately. I would also be cautious if you get a room facing William street because if you open the sliding door to the balcony you will get...
First time as Accor plat I have ever had an upgrade Even better it was a stay plus night Christina on reception was an absolute star and helped when there was no parking and when we got up late Could not fault this stay one bit. It was a last minute booking but for what it cost exceptional value and service
Reception greeted us with smile and thorough explanation of the facilities etc. Parking is located on site which is very very handy and also inexpensive. Breakfast at the restaurant is great - staff are very professional and friendly. Food is very good. We enjoyed our stay.
I stayed at the Sebel on 2 occassions and both were excellent. The staff were helpful and warm. I enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant. Great location and easy walk to everywhere. The bus from Hobart dropped me off around the corner
The Sebel is well located, has many amenities that come in handy for travelers, abd has very helpful staff. I'd definitely stay there again whenever I'm in the area.

What a gorgeous historic building! Converted into a boutique hotel, beautifully nestled on the hill looking out over Launceston. Let's get the downsides out of the way, and please don't let them take away from the experience too much. This was just my experience. The bed was a bit firm, I sneezed and coughed (asthmatic) from the level of dust coming off the blinds whenever they were moved, and too...
Beautiful boutique hotel with a history, a convent school converted into a hotel. Spacious comfortable room. Great service from James, the manager who gave information on nearby the cafes & restaurants. Convenient location for travelling to attractions in & around Launceston.
Sir James is a gentleman and a scholar. We loved our stay. We have sweeping views of Launceston and the location is perfect. You can walk to the gorge from the hotel. Bonus: Free Netflix! Thank you James for the upgrade and the super detailed tourist advice :)
Exceptional service I did not believe still exists. James waited for my late arrival with a smile patient and genuine care even had great advice on where to get some tucker. The room was clean with 4K and air conditioner in each room. Ice in the fridge, mini bar with great value. What can I say but see you soon I hope.
I had read a few negative reviews so I was looking forward to experiencing the place first hand. I have to say the hotel was very pleasant and management were professional and helpful. Can’t really find anything wrong with it. The shower was especially good.
Good value for money, excellent location. Gentlemen James running the front desk is lovely and helpful too

Convenience of meals at the property. Beautiful grounds to walk around. Had shuttle to take you to other meals venue off site. Staff were very friendly.
Fantastic stay and had such a successful conference thanks to Daniel Booth who went above and beyond and without asking, assured with the entire night to make everything absolutely work. Thank you. You are a gem.
Been looking forward to my first time and it was excellent. Took my wife for her birthday and was joined by other relatives. The buffet was quite nice. Cocktails were good.
Everything is perfect. Except we were not told courtesy bus stops at 11pm, so had to grab a cab back to villas. Cab driver made it obvious he was annoyed about such a short trip.
Loved our stay here. Made use of all the sporting facilities with the driving range, squash court and tennis court. Enjoyed a cocktail in the sun and coffee in the cafe. The beds were really comfy too. It's a great spot, but you do need to get a bus or taxi into Launceston main town of you do wish to go in there
Stayed for a work conference for the week. Staff are friendly and attentative to your needs. Lovely setting surrounded by the scenic golf course. There is a casino for evening entertainment. Room well stocked with all the regular items. I will be back .

Great service and location. Rooms are very basic, but have everything you need plus a nice view of the city. Staff are wonderful - even let me leave my bag at reception for a week while I went hiking. Perfect place to stay before and after a multi-day hiking trip.
My partner and I stayed here a few nights while travelling around Tazzie. The room was tidy, kind of had a view (not one worth writing home about though). Plenty of parking for guests as well which is always welcome. The room we stayed in had a weird issue with the cold water tap which was frustrating. We reported this to the reception and the staff were very understanding and offered many options...
It's a clean hotel, showing its age in the bathrooms. The bedroom was standard hotel clean and presentable, no smells, clean comfortable furniture. In the bathroom water regurlarly changed temp while showering including dangerously hot. Walking distance to city park and most of the main street if your fit and don't mind the hill to get back. If you drive just be aware of the sharp slope and stop...
Loved our stay! The rooms were really spacious and nice. Paul was very welcoming and helpful at reception, especially after a long flight. Highly recommend
The downside for me was the angle of the parking... REALLY GOOD ROOM with good facilities. Nice staff, very personable and overall for an older property - very good maintenance. Steps and my walking sticks were an issue. My room had adequate hand hold for me mind you and a few steps were no big deal... GOOD HOT WATER and the Television worked very well.
The room was an appropriate size for the four of us, however it lacked some basics - no sink other than the bathroom, so the kettle had to be filled 1 cup at a time from the bathroom sink. The bathroom needs some work - dripping taps, loose shower head - but the rest of the place is OK. It's a little way out of town, about 10 minutes walk uphill, but the road is fairly quiet. The beds are comfortable...

We loved our stay at Adina in Launceston. the staff were great and the facilities were clean and well appointed.
Great location and owner is often working on-site and very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are old but they've remodeled and updated some. Balconies have great views of Launceston city. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and fun things to do. Parking is free. Clean property and I highly recommend this hotel.
Older style place but convenient location and good value for money. Staff are friendly and it was quiet and comfy. Washing up the coffee mug in the bathroom sink to avoid being fined was a little weird, but overall a good little place for our one night stay. Would stay again.
We have been here before and I still can't complain about anything with this place. The staff are extremely friendly and try to help with everything. The view is exquisite. Our room was a little small for 3 people but room had a kitchen and 2 bedrooms and balcony. There is onsite free parking. Highly recommend
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Launceston. Our appartment was very clean and well presented and had everything we needed. Kelly was so friendly and welcomed us on arrival. I would highly recommend as the location was fabulous. Wonderful views of the City. Thank you.
It's old and could do with major makeover, but the location at the top of York State is great, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. Top floor units have great views too

This is far most the best hostel I have been. Price/quality wise it cannot be better. Rooms are perfect, have private bathroom and common rooms are kept clean and tidy, since everyone is cleaning after themselves. The best budget hostel you can be at! Definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Launceston or looking for a place to stay long term. Only downside during my stay: WiFi quality was very...
It is by far the cleanest of the many hostels in Launceston. Having a bathroom in each room was welcome. My bed was on the squeaky side and not that comfortable. There was no ladder to the top bunk. That made for some interesting times. Bed comes with a towel, blanket, pillow, and one sheet. Mattress cover needed cleaning/replacing. Kitchen was teeny, but useful. Could use more shelves for food storage...
Nice economical place. Minimal parking space for visiting. Overall nice place to visit. Staff were very polite and helpful.
It is what it is - budget accommodation. The room was small and the bathroom was old, but the people were friendly and the beds were comfy. No elevator but a quirky old bag lift. Self serve laundry and shared kitchen are convenient. But the best part is the lovely cafe/restaurant downstairs - The Eatery.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Parmas were nice and reasonably priced, but I think the Salt & Pepper Squid was overpriced for what was served. Jugs of soft drink had more ice than drink. We had one meal at this venue & we did not stay here, so I can not comment on the accommodation.
Dined here for lunch. Meals were delicious. Staff were excellent offering wonderful customer service.
Super friendly staff with old fashioned service. Old fashioned pub rooms, some with shared bathroom so don't expect the Ritz. Rooms were clean and had everything I needed. And there's a pub downstairs with decent food. Pub shuts quite early so no noise. 3 thumbs up.

We parked here to take this photo of Launceston CBD area. It was cloudy but scenic. One of the unique things we found was that you can pay for metered parking using an app. You can also extend the time through the app, so convenient especially when you're sitting in a restaurant and you think that it will take longer.
Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful hostess. Well organized dining room, fresh, delicious, breakfast. Great coffee. We look forward to our next visit.
lets hope nobody is hungry for a big breakfast because you wont get it. People skills ?? NONE. Not even a good morning at breakfast of toast and cereal .We were not told at reception on how to order it .Room I will give 3 out of 5 but only 1 for People skills. Will not go there again.
Stayed here for 2 nights and was very happy with the standard room and being so close to everything that you can walk

Loved the local wildlife, the pademelons, brushtail possums, Rosella's and cockatoos that came into the backyard. At night we could see them through the infra red camera system that was set up. We could watch the animals on the TV, without disturbing them. The amazing view across the river, we could see deer on the cliff top. The house was in a very quiet area.
Quiet, well appointed and beautiful surroundings. The wildlife at your doorstep. Wonderful hosts and easy to access all of Tasmania.
A delightful get-away bed and breakfast with gorgeous views over looking the river. Spacious bedrooms and great service from Jane, our wonderful landlady. Breakfast was a real treat and the chocolates were an added bonus. Highly recommend this place!

The room was incredibly clean as was the whole place. David (the owner) was very welcoming and very happy to share his local knowledge.
Very accommodating friendly owners. Accommodation excellent, even though the mattress was a bit hard to sleep on. Breakfast was good and served with a smile and easy conversations.
Lovely breakfast each day and comfortable lodgings. Nice and centrally located too with many places in town in walking distance.
Very kind and knowledgeable keepers of this BnB. Breakfast was fantastic and met our strict dietary requirements. The room was spacious and quiet.
Booked for 4 nights. We arrived with lots of luggage so David put us in a bigger room (very nice). Next he prepared an early breakfast prior to my fly fishing trip. Both David and Fiona are very courteous and generous people. Place is central and very clean. Highly recommended.
The perfect place for our last 2 nights before flying back to the mainland. Comfortable and reasonable. They were happy to give us very early breakfast before our flight. Breakfast was good, with interesting tales on the background of the couple running it. Would stay here if we get this far again.

This is a delightful place with everything you need dryer, washing machine, aircon, oven/stove and comfortable beds (even nice birds in the morning) This is also conveniently located just a 10 min walk down hill to the city I would like to stay here for a whole week next time
The apartment was very clean and supplies with milk, orange juice , bread and spreads . Also the bathroom had lovely products ,plenty of towels and a hairdryer. A laundry was included so we needed nothing. You will need a car as the hill gradient is very steep and walking back from town was difficult for us. Otherwise it was perfect for our needs and great value.
Just an incredible place with views from the Penthouse (Apartment 2) over-looking the city and river - Highbury is highly recommended!!
I fell in love with this apartment, with its charm and character and beautiful furnishings. Great views and fantastic location in East Launceston. This place was great! We arrived late (flight delay) and Joe was kind enough to stay open for us, efficiently checked us in, and had a great attitude throughout. The room was basic but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. They even provided tea and coffee. Very convenient location, walkable to all the attractions and great restaurants. Would gladly stay there again.
Star bar restaurant only We stopped by for lunch and some beverages. It did not disappoint. Scotch Fillet 250grams rare My partner was extremely satisfied with his Sitch fillet. A mixed experience, but overall positive because the food saved the day. Some of the infrastructure is dating, toilet steal with no seat, no toilet paper and cracked sinks. Sarah is super helpful. The check in time is from 2pm to 9pm, and due to some miscommunication from the booking website, we arrived late and the hotel locked.
