Interesting place 2 storey townhouse facing water views was freezing cold when arrived had to request more blankets took half night to finally warm up. Great self-contained resort apartment at Merimbula. It's very close to the beach (across the road), and 3 minutes away from the main town by car with a nice view across the river. We had apartment 66 overlooking the lap pool. it was clean & modern, I suspect recently renovated - everything worked, it can not be faulted. Staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. The complex is in an excellent location, 10-15 minute walk into town centre, accross the road from the beach & a short stroll to a cafe offering some pretty awesome breakfasts. We’ve stayed at Coast Resort Merimbula 3 times now and loved it every time. Lovely clean, modern apartments, kids love the pools and tennis and it’s walking distance to town, beach and lake. We will definitely be back again!

So amazing! Took in all the surrounding nature. The Jetty is a must, but the bush walk was incredible. From my balcony I had the view of the lake, so good to wake up to. At night the kangaroos came to say hello in the grass area, a short distance from me. You could walk around the property for a whole day in the bush without leaving it. Our family stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cottages for 10 nights. The staff are extremely friendly and the grounds are lovely. It's a fantastic location right on the lake - perfect for paddle boarding. We got great use out of the pool, spa and tennis court. A great spot, amongst nature and the riverfront. Our cottage was neat, a bit dated in decor, but spacious, compact and private. The grounds were lovely and peaceful. An added treat, was to hear the birds every morning and see kangaroos, possums and lizards on the grounds.

It's like a Big Resort, but by the lake. Really Big Land area. Lots of spots you can chill at to enjoy the peace and beauty of the nature. The Rooms are so clean and tidy. And The View from the room is superb. Definitely will be our new favorite place to stay at whenever we are down here in Merimbula. Just the perfect quick break we need.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The kids loved the bouncy pillow, mini golf course, basketball/cricket area, indoor pool and spa. All the staff were super friendly. Amenities clean and decent water pressure in the showers. A well stocked camp kitchen. Highly recommended

First time we have stayed at this park and it is very well managed and all facilities are very clean. They had the best cup day bbq catered for all guests along with a Melbourne cup sweep and pancakes for morning tea twice a week. Plenty of activities for all the kids to do also and don’t forget the sausage sizzle on Friday nights.

Nice place. Cabin was clean and comfortable. They need a small kiosk at reception so you can purchase bread and milk.

Positives were that our apartment was spacious, clean, good location and friendly service. Negatives were no air con but noisy fan in bedroom, had to take our own rubbish out to bins outside or risk a $70 cleaning bill, and no tissues. Not what we expected for 4.5 star apartments, considering the cost.

Great location central to most things you need. Considering it's on a main road it is surprisingly quiet. Room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Roomy living space with a full kitchen. Apartment was spacious and clean with fantastic views. In a great position, easy walk to shops, fish pen and boardwalk. Secure undercover parking. Easy safe check in, friendly staff and lift made it easy to get your luggage to your apartment. The new smart TVs were a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

I would highly recommend staying at the Albacore apartments. Great location, lots to see and do while having a top notch apartment to come back to. Ticks a lot of boxes. Chelsea and the team were amazing hosts, really going above and beyond to make the stay comfortable.

Walked with clubs to the Golf Course across the road. Although the pool was very cold the 12 of us enjoyed a meal in the barbecue space just off the pool area.

First class resort, walk to golf course or Airport for a spot of skydiving. Minutes to the beaches or to drop the tinny in for a spot of fishing. Kids can play basketball or tennis or swim onsite when M&D need to have a beverage or two.

We stayed 3 nights here. The room is clean and tidy, so spacious. 3 of us could have each different bed which was great. Also close to everywhere, just 5-7mins drive we could go anywhere. Small swimming pool for kids, BBQ facilities(not so great though) but it was perfect for us to stay as we just needed to sleep!

Cleaning is ok can’t really give a review due to lack of stuff , but can see the cup and plate hasn’t been washed and sanitized properly. The draw for the cutlery can see the black sticky stuff. Even worse there is no sound proof to go to bed early if you already had a long day drive but upstairs guests still jumping around or talking around 11pm

A nice motel with large rooms & very clean. It has modern facilities & everything you need for a nice relaxing stay. Check in was very friendly. The kids love the pool & gardens too.

Quiet location, close to the airport. Wall was thin I could hear the neighbor clearly. Shower was terrible: first time I saw a water saving head being used by a motel, and the water is too hot or too cold, so hard to adjust. Breakfast was okay. Reception was friendly.

The view from the Kingfisher Motel is incredible! Large glass sliding door opens out onto a private deck to sit and relax and watch the ocean, boats and abundant bird life in the trees. The rooms are large and includes a kitchenette. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Retro style decor. Pool. Great hosts. We will definitely stay again.

Just spent a few days in Merimbula and we have stayed at the kingfisher quite a few times and as usually we felt welcomed and Janine made as feel at home the rooms are always clean and the view from your room is perfect . We will back again soon

The motel is far enough out of town that it’s nice and quiet with an awesome view, yet close enough to walk to everything. The owners are so lovely and there when you need them but not when you don’t. Rooms are clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need. I’ll be back one day!

Very clean, excellent views over Merimbula. Plenty of birdlife in the garden and around. Plus.. super friendly owners, who made our stay particularly wonderful. They are wildlife carers and truly excellent people, who told us about the care work they do.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Standard motel facilities, but super clean. Plenty of towels, plus a microwave, cutlery, crockery. Bonus is having a table and chairs, and a sofa inside, plus a table and chairs outside. Awesome balcony with fabulous views. Friendly bird life and a resident sheep to keep you entertained. We booked 2 bedroom apartment. Pretty impressed with the size with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Ensuite on the main bedroom and aircon would have been a 5 star. Location is great overlooking the lake, walking distance to Main beach and city centre.

Good location, good facilities, room had a laundry. The room was very clean apart from the couches which need a good clean and were also not comfortable and worn out in the 2 bed room apartment that hadnt been renovated. Some lights didnt work and master bed mattress needs replacing asap, the springs are pushing through.

Great spot, needs upgrading and one knife with tv remote not working well. Bed was hard, toilet needed fixing. But with all that said l would go back again.

Stayed there for 4 days we had room 3 which is under the main part of the house everything was great service location the room and the pool absolutely wonderful , breakfast in the morning yum yum , the only thing that let it down was the owners upstairs above room 3 let's just say are a bit heavy on the foot when walking around

Nice secluded getaway. Minutes away from a great hidden beach in the area. Great breakfast selection options. Well maintained heated pool. Luckily we had it to ourselves during our stay. Great base for our stay in the area.

We stayed at the Albatross Holiday Units last night, the staff were very friendly and the unit was well set up and very clean, I would highly recommend staying there. If we go to Merimbula again I would not hesitate to stay there.

Very simple apartment style accommodation. Our apartment was clean and equiped with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The manager was very accommodating allowing us to use their car park as our car wouldn't fit in the garage that was provided.

The unit was very clean important for me. Loved being able to experience both the bush outlook and being so close to the beach. We had some lovely walks and a wonderful meal at a restaurant within easy driving distance. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful setting and cabins, close to a great beach and lakes. Rooms are beginning to look a little old and in need of a bit of maintenance. Nevertheless, very comfortable and functional.

Tina was very helpful and flexible and we appreciated it a lot. Tastefully designed and decorated and well equipped cabins. Tina initiated offering us extra towels and turned the heater and lights on for us (without us asking her to) as we were arriving in the evening. We had a trailer and were able to park i It's those touches that we appreciated. Great playgrounds for the kids too!

Lovely spot. We rented one of the Lakeside cabins. The door opened onto bushland and lake, and we could see a glimpse of the sunrise over the ocean from the kitchen window. The kids loved the grounds. The cabin itself was immaculate and we appreciated being able to bring our small dog. Thanks for having us- can’t wait to come back :)

Spent 3 nights there last week with our little dog. Tina and Pete were very friendly and helpful. Pete suggested a local chiropractor for Cynthia who had hurt her back, which turned out well. Fantastic location! On arrival we noted how immaculate the grounds were. The individual positioning of the cabins provided privacy which was nice. Parking was easy and close to our cabin. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and well aired out on arrival, and it had hotel quality bedding and a very comfortable bed. Well recommended 👌

We have stayed at the Pelican Motor Inn on several occasions but not for about 4 years. Nevertheless it still delivered a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and everything just works. We’ll appointed, comfortable beds and the shower was great. Also close to the shops and the Sapphire Club and RSL. We will look forward to our next visit to Merrimbula.

Stopped over for a night on our way up to Sydney. As soon as we came in the service was great very friendly staff throughout the motel from kitchen to front desk. The rooms are newly renovated and the view is amazing over the harbour. Highly recommended

The Hillcrest Merimbula does have a great vibe! I wished our itinerary allowed for a longer stay. The view overlooking the town and sea is amazing, especially watching the sunrise. We particularly enjoyed the well kept grounds and pool area for just taking time to relax and enjoy the day. We had a great stay for one night. Room was lovely. Calming decor colours. We had a fantastic view of Merimbula from the room. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony at night looking over the water. Totally enjoyed our stay. There was no air-conditioning in the room, only an overhead fan. Wasn't a problem as the weather wasn't hot but might be on a typical scorching aussie day.

Had a really lovely two-night stay here. Room was really pleasant and relaxing and I love how they are upgrading the hotel, working with the charming parts of its history to enhance it instead of totally erasing the retro motor inn vibes. Whirlwind trip to Merimbula... It was a trip I didn't want to take in the first place so finding this place was a pleasant surprise. Stayed at Norfolk Pine overnight while on a cycling trip. Nice hotel, clean and well maintained. Nice view from the room. You can even spot roos jumping all over! Hotel manager Bill was great. Only cons was the room I stayed didn't have air con so fan was a bit noisy. Apart from that nice hotel to stay in Merimbula!

Located in the heart of town and able to walk to the clubs for dinner/ shops and easy to get around.. The view was lovely too. The room is spacious, very clean and has all you need for an overnight stay. Great for a last minute booking.

A clean and very spacious motel in downtown. Room is much bigger than expected. The motel is in walking distance to supermarkets and restaurants.

South Seas is our favourite place to stay in Merimbula. Great pool area, comfy room, amazing shower head and nice touches like Netflix and Stan available. It's also right in the centre of town which means you're a short walk from everything. The best thing though was Sally the owner who was really welcoming and obviously has put a lot of love into this old girl. We would 100% recommend staying here...

Great place to stay. In the heart of the town. Terrific host very accommodating when a small issue arose. Over size parking spots make a great change from the norm. Room was amazing and to wake up to the sound of bell birds is a treat. Highly recommend place

The owner is very friendly and very helpful. They live on site. Keep my bicycle safe inside their garage during my stay. The room is on the older side, but it's tidy and clean. It's has all basic amenities you normally find in a hotel room. There is also a nice BBQ facility if you are not in the mood to go to restaurants. Highly recommended.

For a single solo traveler who just needs a place to sleep and shower this place was perfect for me. It is a basic dated motel but it has what you need. The property itself is very neat and well maintained, my room was very clean and everything intact. You can’t beat the location, it’s smack bang in the centre of town. The staff were great, and I have no complaints. I would stay here again.

We have travelled there on countless times. Its not 5star but Maureen is fabulous and the rooms are very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. Feels like home!

Well it’s true that it is a little bit dated from the Blankety Blanks era but that makes it fun. And it’s beautifully maintained and completely authentic condition. Everything was spotless the room, was very generous and everything worked exactly as it should.

The Colonial Motor Inn is situated on the outskirts of Pambula, still close enough to make everything accessible by foot.
