It’s a family resort. So if you want peace and quiet don’t come here. Thumping on floors above and screaming kids is the order of the day. Buyer beware.

Resort is in a great location with good facilities but the rooms in the oasis area are very tired some furniture needs to be upgraded and cushions and lounges cleaned. The floor tiles are extremely dirty and really need a good bleach to get rid of all the caked dirt on them. Fix the louvres and clean the common area tiles in the hallways that are black. Possibly replaceable all the dead plants and this resort may look as it once did .

We stayed here for 5 nights in a “premium rooftop penthouse”. Whilst we loved our stay, there were a number of issues with our room. The biggest problem that truly affected our stay was the air con vents dripping. Sure, I understand this happens, but when the air con vent is above your head and it’s dripping on your face while you sleep, it’s a bit of an issue. We didn’t sleep well once because of this and had to sleep on the edge of the bed to avoid this. In addition, the dryer didn’t work, the sliding door in the bedroom was almost impossible to move, and multiple broken louvres throughout. We found the staff lovely though, and they did offer us 15% off for our next stay because of the problems in our apartment but unfortunately we won’t be coming back. I don’t think giving us a 15% discount for our next stay justified all that was wrong with the apartment.

We had a short holiday in Noosa in October, staying at Noosa Blue. The type of accommodation and service we received, you would have to say it was overpriced and underwhelming. Although the afterhours service from maintenance in dealing with the shutters in our room was excellent and this was much appreciated but the same cannot be said about the desk staff and resort manager. Furthermore on the morning (approx 8am) of checkout , we had someone just walk right into our room without knocking. We could only assume this was a 'lost' tradesperson because he didn't give an explanation.
The main criticism I have was in the handling of an issue which was not dealt with professionally. Instead we were treated with disbelief and the attempt made to rectify the issue made matters worse. In fact it spoiled our last two days in Noosa. After our stay we contacted the resort manager to provide feedback and to cut a long story short we were told that the issue would be followed up. I was expecting to receive a return call in relation to the follow up, but some 3 weeks later, we have heard nothing. This is really disappointing because we feel as though we have been fobbed off and it has left doubt in our minds as to whether the follow up actually happened. I would also advise that the website be updated. When I reached out to Noosa Blue I asked for Sam Melis as he or she was listed as the resort manager on the website. I was told that this person had moved on from Noosa Blue and the person who answered my call had taken on the role as resort manager....more than 3 weeks later the website still lists Sam Melis as the RM. Unfortunately we will not be returning to Noosa Blue Resort on our future visits to Noosa.The room we stayed in was 318, we could hear a lot of street traffic noise plus a generator was located close by and the bright security light coming through to the bedroom despite the shutters. The pool temperature was cold and the gym was a horror of stink and rusty equipment.

A good resort within walking distance, albeit a steep ish hill to the main shopping street. We had one of the penthouses (fancy name but effectively an apartment with your sun deck upstairs) the rooms were clean and tidy and the upper floor with Jacuzzi, BBQ and sunloungers were a bonus. The cafe downstairs near the large outdoor pool is managed by some very nice and engaging people with plenty of board games and puzzles to keep children entertained for a short time. However despite all that the only downfall and the lack of the fifth star was the rickety lifts which I understand were being looked at but not before giving my family several major frights.
Overall recommended and if you can get one of the "penthouses" as it brings an extra dimension to your stay.

Beautiful location, nice one bed studio penthouse with hot tub on second level. Booking was easy for a quick weekend away for wife's birthday. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed 4 nights here in Feb 2018. We loved the location, right between Hastings Street and Noosa Junction, under a 15 minute stroll to both. We had a lower level apartment so no view but the levels above us had some lovely views over the Noosa river and spit. The room was spacious, tidy and very functional for two adults. The pool was one of the best I've seen for apartment style accommodation. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Also there was plenty of undercover parking spaces. This is a great place to stay in Noosa.
