Chateau Elan satisfies.
I did not visit to play golf.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful.
The rooms, huge and appointed well.
Yes, a few blemishes from age, but extremely clean. The bathroom was approx 5m x 5m. The living area approx 10m x 5m
Only dined for breakfast which was excellent.
Staff, excellent and professional and assisted with any query
A golfers paradise (but you do not need to play golf to enjoy the space)

My wife and I got married here in June 2023 and our wedding was amazing, an absolute fairytale. We can't thank the staff at Chateau enough.
Chateau is beautiful, the carriage house stunning and the accomadation is gorgeous! All staff on the day were amazing. Rebecca and Kim were outstanding and so accommodating. They really went above and beyond. Ourselves and all our guests haven't stopped raving about it!
You all gave us an amazing wedding and we'd recommend you to everyone.

I have photographed a number of weddings at Chateau Elan at The Vintage over the years and have always found it a great place for a wedding.
There is great onsite accommodation and it is very easy for couples to both get ready on property in separate rooms and be far enough apart so they don't see each other.
The Chapel at Chateau Elan is perfectly set up for weddings and is looks beautiful in wedding photos.
For wedding photos, I recommend hiring a buggy to take you around the property. It is very large and this will give you the chance to hit a number of locations in a short amount of time.
There are a couple of wedding reception spaces to choose from and they are both elegant and modern.
Overall, it is a beautiful location for an elegant Hunter Valley wedding.

Absolutely beautiful scenery and rooms. The villas were clean, large and very peaceful. Even the local kangaroos popped over for breakfast. Simply Perfect!

What an amazing stay! First and foremost, I was a bit skeptical on how good this hotel would be considering its cost however it really was worth every dollar.
Room: super spacious and romantic. We got the spa suite and it's definitely got a cozy vibe, I like to think of it as the perfect master bedroom. The bed was also a nice surprise with the massage and adjustable mattress feature. Quite a large TV included which was a touch too bright for me at night. Not too many freebies, just the typical toiletries, tea/coffee and two small bottles of water. The bath/spa is quite slow to fill, I'd say 30 minutes or so.
Service: the front desk ladies were very friendly and courteous. Room service was also prompt.
Location: perfect, central location to the best wineries at the Hunter. Parking however, is a 1-2 minute walk from the premises which is perfectly fine but it was unfortunately raining during some of our stay which made it difficult if the golf buggy wasn't there
Everything was wonderful here, I wish we got to explore more of the property but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side. I'd love to come back someday and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 5 star stay.

Had a good stay here. Excellent apartment - very well fitted out and spacious, as well as having great views of the golf course (and resident kangaroos). Breakfast was excellent, but the edge was taken off the stay as the main restaurant was closed. On site food was therefore only available in the evenings from the clubhouse bar - which served bar food of average quality at best. Not good enough for a 5-star resort.

Lovely place to stay. A bit pricey, especially on weekends but the location and service makes it worthwhile. Rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and overlooking the golf course. There is a couple of options for dinner all within walking distance.

One of the best accommodation I've ever stayed at!! Starting with the amazing service from Zack, the amazing, fun, lovely concierge; Sam, the awesome lounge attendant who accommodated our group in extending last drinks and; Alison, the star that had made both my breakfast visit so much more delightful. Truly an asset to the company, all of them individually need to be recognized for their excellent service.
Having worked in the past in a five star hotel industry, Chateau Elan was an extraordinary stay and thoroughly enjoyed my short 2 nights here. I cant rave about the service enough, overall made me feel so welcomed, all the time.
10/10 must stay!!!!! I'll definitely be visiting again soon.
