I have photographed a number of weddings at Chateau Elan at The Vintage over the years and have always found it a great place for a wedding. There is great onsite accommodation and it is very easy for couples to both get ready on property in separate rooms and be far enough apart so they don't see each other. Beautiful Place, visiting & staying second time and planning to be again in near future

Had a good stay here. Excellent apartment - very well fitted out and spacious, as well as having great views of the golf course (and resident kangaroos). Breakfast was excellent, but the edge was taken off the stay as the main restaurant was closed. On site food was therefore only available in the evenings from the clubhouse bar - which served bar food of average quality at best. Not good enough...

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa which was a great size for the 5 of us. The set up was great and room was clean. Kids loved the kangaroos on the door step in the mornings.

Stopped for lunch prior to a concert at Binbadgen winery. Wonderful lunch for $20, lamb salad. It was a generous serving which also included a house wine or a beer. Great value.fabulous outlook overlooking pool and golf course. Will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Hunter. The villas are brilliant and extremely comfortable. Huge range of amenities, 3 pools, tennis courts, golf course and it is all central to everything.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Absolutely loved the fireplace and Spa bath, they were definitely a highlight. Seeing Kangaroos at dinner and breakfast at the lovely Spicers Botanica restaurant was very special, and the food was amazing!

This is now our favourite place to stay in the Hunter. A place that truly embodies relaxed luxury. Even with staying in the heart of wine country there was no need to leave as the facilities provided everything we needed including the amazing food and drinks, day spa and swimming pool/spa.

Spicers Vineyard retreat is an excellent place to stay for a special occasion. The staff are excellent, the rooms fantastic and the meals of high quality.

Nice apartments for a weekend in the wine country. Not great for business travellers reception not open for very long 8-5, rooms not serviced, strange configuration where all bedrooms and lounge rooms are visible from the road unless you close all the curtains. This place is amazing, from check in to cleanliness I was satisfied. What made a great impression was when I went to the bar to order my dinner and I was served by a waitress named Suzie. Spent two nights here just over a week ago. The property is older, but the cabins (essentially half-bungalows) are a good size and very well equipped. Reception staff v helpful (was it Joel?) and great location with walking distance to several wineries. And look at that view! Perfect for enjoying your cellar door purchases.

Really enjoyed our stay here over the weekend. The property boasts a unique and magical rose garden and is situated in a fantastic part of Polkobin amongst the wine gardens and winding country roads. We had 15 staying in the 2 houses joined by verandahs and could not have wished for better. Everything clean and very presentable. Wood for inside and outside fire, BBQ and plenty of wine glasses for the lovely wines available. Would highly recommend and will be back. Thank you Pokolbin.

Pokolbin Village Estate is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. There are plenty of options to eat within walking distance. The General Store has everything you need. Blaxlands Inn is a short safe walk for a beautiful wine and dine. It’s an easy point for pickup for wine tours. Absolutely loved it, highly recommend and will definitely be staying there again.

Just had an awesome weekend in the Hunter Valley. The accomodation was great. Clean well equipped and the staff friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back and would recommend to singles couples and families. Also great disabled access room. Very central to all the attractions.

Stunning tranquil setting! Completely undisturbed and in a beautiful area. Relax in front of the open fire or explore the Hunter Region with all it has to offer in close proximity. The only draw back was the bathroom was a bit cold however that’s what you get for going during winter!

The decor is lovely and calming. They could shake the cushions and throw rugs more often they smelled very dusty and clean the fans. The fridge was not cold enough, it may need a repair. I would stay again the location was great. Everything else was good.

Some friends and I stayed here at the Manor just before Christmas 2020. It is a beautiful spot very close to the wineries and vineyards. The house is very well furnished with 4 bedrooms, 3 kitchens and plenty of room to have some quiet time. I would love to come back here again.

We have been here before, food was good. Unfortunately my steak was overcooked and as food was ordered at the bar, there was no one I could contact regarding my food, ended up having to walk my plate back to the kitchen. We were up for a wedding this weekend and stayed at the H boutique hotel and it did not disappoint! The customer service was spot on! We keep returning to the H Boutique when visiting the Hunter Valley as it is always consistently good! Really good place to stay, we had 3 families and it couldn't have worked better great spot really clean rooms everything you need for a nice stay. Lovely little boutique style lodgings in a great location, for everything really. Literally 2 minute drive to Harrigans and 15 mins into Cessnock. Nice grounds, well kept. We stayed on the Studio Terraces which were modern rooms. Maybe the bathroom was a little bit outdated but was perfectly functional.

We had a great stay at Chez Vous Villas in Pokolbin. Surroundings are amazing. Close to vineyards. The villa itself is a lovely French cottage with a spa. They also have an outdoor pool and horses. Highly recommend staying here as it is the perfect place to relax and explore the wineries near by. The owners are lovely welcoming people and we look forward to staying there again in the near future.

Stunning surroundings and cute, clean accommodation. Our unit was equipped with a spa which was great for relaxing after a long day. The bedroom on the first floor was nicely equipped. The owners are really kind and helpful. We will def. come back!

I would highly recommend Grange on Hermitage as it’s our go to when visiting the Hunter Valley. Nestled on a beautifully manicured property, the Lilly Pilly & Peppertree cottages are newly renovated with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with spa baths and the beds are like sleeping on a cloud! Only a short drive or stagger to the wineries and restaurants, this place is an ideal and perfect location to stay...

The hosts, Mark and Marie, are some of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. Their values of making guests feel at home and being as environmentally friendly as possible shone through in the meticulously maintained garden, the endless birdsong, and their warm and welcoming...

Beautiful location. Room was lovely and clean. Comfy Beds. The hot water was readily available at 9.30am. I loved everything. The next morning I enjoyed having eggs on toast with salad on the verandah overlooking the hills, gum trees and the birds. I will be returning very soon. Thanks so much for having me.
