Avoid!
We were charged $60 for a grass site despite being quoted $44 on the phone.
They charged an extra $15 for our six year old when we arrived (despite the fact he was mentioned at the time of booking).
Opportunistic and dishonest!
The site was like a show ground under maintenance. No lights. So you need a torch to go to the amenities. And the playground is a plastic castle the size of a box.
A total rip off all round.
We stayed at a caravan park on the beach at Wollongong the night before for $45 and it was beautiful. And deserving of charging more.
Not this place. And to scam a customer face to face leaves a very bad feeling that probably explains the off atmosphere..
We'll never come back or recommend. There are much nicer friendlier places to stay.

Booked a powered ensuite site, the site was boggy and slushy mud. Fortunately my car is 4wd otherwise we would have gotten bogged. It’s extremely noisy at 4 am with the trucks behind the park banging and there was someone riding around the park between 3:30am and 4:10am in the morning which we found extremely dodgy.
The park clearly has quite a few permanent residents and one in particular sat on his step starring at us and was wandering up and down slowly looking around which made us feel the need to lock everything up if we left the park or went to sleep at night. I wouldn’t come back here, the park is very outdated and not much of a playground for kids.

We were running late and reception phoned to advise how to collect keys.
The cabin was neat, clean with all necessary items to make ourt stay enjoyable.
Location was great, and the price was excellent.
Oh and we had a dog so pet friendly was a Big bonus.
Will stay there again.

Really horrible experience.
The caravan sites were an absolute quagmire and we were not even notified of this before arriving. Almost inaccessible. Park for kids was not as described or photographed. Wifi didn’t even work. Won’t be returning. Not worth $121 for two nights.

Security is a big problem here 10k of bikes stolen as well as tents opened up. The lady on front desk is nice sometimes but I found her to be a bit cold compared to other desk attendants in other parks. One key for toilets per site we had 4 of to share one key. Would only stay here if no other option. Would feel safer freeballing to be honest. Amenities are good, old but clean.

Lovely Accommodation!
Unfortunately I recently had to attend a family members funeral on short notice and needed accommodation for myself and my 2 adult daughters for a couple of nights. I came across Leisure Tourist Park during my search and as it was close to where we had to go and the prices were great I booked it. I informed the office we would be arriving late (10pm) and as the reception is closed at that time they supplied me with details on how to obtain the keys on arrival which proved very easy. They provided a map of the park so we could find our unit easily. Free parking was outside the unit which made for a very simple unload from the car. We stayed in a two bedroom unit (no 101) which was immaculately clean and had a great design layout with the front door opening onto an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining area with the two bedrooms and a bathroom off that there was plenty of room for us all. On the opposite side of the lounge/dining area is a sliding door that opens to a beautiful lawn area with lots of outdoor tables and chairs, a small children's playground, BBQ area and 2 pools. The grounds are very well maintained as well. The reception staff I spoke to on the morning after our arrival were lovely and very helpful. The cleaning and maintenance staff must be amazing as well as everything is so clean and fresh. As previously stated I only stayed for 2 nights this time but I will certainly be looking to rebook in the near future for a longer relaxing stay. The park is a very close drive to town and to many eateries, social clubs and Pubs. I highly recommend this tourist park especially for families with small children.

A really lovely tourist park. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit (no.101) which had plenty of room with a lounge dining and kitchen open plan area with the bedrooms and bathroom off that. Simple yet beautiful design and very clean. The cabin opens onto a lovely garden area near a children's playground, BBQ area and pool. The grounds are very well maintained and lots of outdoor tables to sit and relax. A great place for families to enjoy a break with everything you need all in one place. A very short drive into Port Macquarie. We arrived late in the evening and I was sent instructions on where and how to obtain the keys on arrival and the whole process was very easy. Parking right outside the unit for easy access. I am extremely happy with my choice of accommodation and would highly recommend Leisure Tourist Park to anyone.

Absolutely loved this peaceful tranquil tourist park 🥰. Everything was spotless and handy, even our dog enjoyed himself with all the open space and shady trees. The owners were lovely and genuine. So much on offer in Port Macquarie. I've stayed at many places on our travels and this place gets the big thumbs up 🙂

We stayed here when our caravan broke down & ended up staying here for much longer than expected, venturing off and then coming back over 2 weeks. Our caravan trip didn’t go to plan at all being stuck in Port Macquarie during peak time with 3 kids, a dog and no caravan. We ended up loving this park and it turned our holiday around. The cabin was comfortable, the little touches like the table tennis, beautiful grounds, peaceful atmosphere, lovely pool and lovely welcoming staff made us want to keep coming back. We ended up falling in love with Port Macquarie and knowing our situation- the staff moved things around to help us extend our stay numerous times. The kids loved it and we loved staying here.

I stayed at cabin no. 1 with 3 small kids for 2 nights, and it was wonderful! The room is spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the shower is great as well. It is well maintained and clean, and it has everything you need. There is also a nice balcony with a nice atmosphere. It is a lovely and quiet place. There is a nice playground for kids and a nice pool. It was a good location for us to travel around. It was a great place to stay and a great value for money
