Rooms were very old. Aircon not clean woke up sore throat and puffy eyes. It smelt musky. Was not worth the price $230 for the night. No parking available, had to park on street. If you have no credit card they charge bond $200 on top.
I had the one bedroom apartment setup. Best thing I can say is it came with a washer and dryer to do laundry. The living area was big and had a great size balcony. Pretty awesome place!
Booked and stayed in a hotel room for $210 a night. Great location right on the river. Parking was limited. The king bed very comfy. The shower was pitiful, barely any water pressure and the shower head was broken. After adjusting the shower head to a position that actually reached your body, the bathroom flooded. Definitely overpriced.
I booked a 1 bedroom suite, the room was tastefully furnished and decorated. Small kitchen area with microwave and a pod style coffee machine. Cleaning was faultless. All in a very nice room, and the check in and out was fast and efficient I normally stay at a more expensive competitor, but my choice will change for future stays.
Both my wife and I stayed for 4 nights. We both found the staff to be absolutely awesome and friendly. The views and facilities were great. What we also liked was that we could book all meals. From the hotel precinct to the room. All meals were also fabulous. As well as the staff at the restaurants. The wait staff in particular at ribs and rump were great. We went there on nye without making a booking...
Overshadowed on paper by the newer Empire property in the same group the Edge is often overlooked by those relying on advertising alone. As a regular traveller to Rockhampton I personally prefer the Edge. Get a river view apartment on the 6th floor or above and you'll have spectacular views along the river in both directions and across to the hills of North Rockhampton. The building is a little older...

Clean room, good WiFi. Good central location. Lifts were being redone. Bathroom in my room... the bath/shower floor felt like it may let go at any moment. Food from the restaurant was typical pub fare.
The hotel is old and can be seen in the public areas. Carpets are tattered and with the walls and elevator requiring attention. With that said the room i was in, was clean and neat. The room was in very good condition. The only issue was the bath tub had a cra k that was patched with a bit of fibreglass and resin, coat of paint would have helped the patchwork which looked average. The staff were...
Staff were really the only high point for us. Would have been much lower rating without the lovely staff. Not impressed with the room. The red fabric chairs were gross (stained and one had something, food I hope, dribbled down one arm that hadn't been cleaned off at all). The bed had hubby and I meeting in the middle all night because you couldn't help but roll that way. Was excited the have a bath...
Pretty good if/when the water works properly. Comfortable beds but the pillows suck. Quiet rooms. Good menu. Very Friendly and helpful staff. 24/7 front desk. Good price for what you get. The place had really improved over the last 3-6 months.
Arrived 10 minutes before closing of the kitchen. Was able to still order a meal. The steak was a little over cooked for a medium but the steak was beautiful and tender. Well presented meals. They had problems with beer on the tap, staff very polite, suggesting alternative beverages. The Maori girl who served us went above and beyond her duty to ensure we enjoyed our meal and drink.?
Attended work conference. Room was too small, refreshments were late, and projector did not work. Front of house and cafe were well presented though.

Had a caravan site. Warm welcome on arrival with great explanation of the park and nearby. Van parking can be tight to back into. Our van is 23ft and our neighbours car was out for the day so not too difficult. We walked around and out the back was large private areas with you own firepit and grass area. Upgade would be an option next time! Amenities/laundry very clean. Large pool and water ground...
This park was easy to find. Every shop you could want is within a 5-minute drive. It's a quick drive to Yeepoon and the beautiful beaches. The park has great amenities. Our Ensuite was new, very clean, and well laid out. If we had small kids, this place would be wonderful for them with many activities for them. Even the teenagers here were having fun last night playing basketball. I will definitely...
Stayed 7 days on ensuited power site. The ensuite was beautiful and clean, which made it easier for me to maintain the cleaning of it. I really need this after using our small ensuite in the caravan. All the facilities were well maintained and loads to do with the teen kids, which is very rare. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. I loved the reminders to lock up and the offer of 50% off for an...
Great location and very reasonable pricing! Accommodative staff (free upgrade due to some unforeseen circumstances my end!) beautiful mornings in the sun! I didn't use the play area but for those with kids, I'm sure they'd love it 😊 I'm on my way back through next week - best believe I'm going back!
Enjoyed the activities for the kids, everything that was advertised was delivered, the rooms were well kept and air-conditioned, the water park was a hit. Lots of places to eat close by. Enjoyed our stay and would like to attend again.
No complaints from our 1 night stay while traveling through. Studio cabin with bunk beds for the kids. Other residents well behaved. Water park is extremely good for kids of all ages. Unfortunately was having too much fun and only managed one photo.

Can only speak for the restaurant. One of the best dinners we had experienced on our first visit, although change of ownership has definitely taken a turn for the worst. Very unpleasant waitress from the start, steak was no better than a cheap pub feed. Medium rare rib fillet come out dry, over cooked and was sent back. The second steak was almost blue and 100% was rump, not fillet. The look we received...
This is our first stay at the Stirling. We had a few requests for our stay, that was not problem. Michelle did everything to make our stay problem free and relaxing. It is our second time dinning at the Stirling be it several years due to covid. We had a table of 8 and everyone loved their meals and desert's. It was one of our groups birthday, Michelle helped us to make it very special for Letecia...
I recently booked a few nights at the Stirling. I unfortunately did a knee injury at footy training and had to return home, however the staff at Stirling refunded me for the nights I didn’t stay and waived the cancellation fee for me. As I returned my key a lady named Michelle seen me and asked if I’d like some ice for my knee as I had a 3 hour drive home, I naturally said “yes please” and Michelle...
We are Rocky Locals so can only review the Restaurant. We went for dinner, Very Friendly Staff with conversation prior to dinner. The new Chef did an great job the Food was Awesome (Seafood Pasta and a Chicken Dish. Desert topped off the meal nicely. Great Value for money, we will be back Thank You.
I was really impressed with the modern refurbishment of our room and the reception and restaurant area. Our room was so comfortable and quiet and close the city centre. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast was delightful and affordable. Definately the place to stay in Rockhampton.
Attended a Capricorn Chamber of Commerce event here tonight and was super impressed with the quality of the finger food on offer; delicious.

What a magnificent place! Could not say a bad word about this place. The rooms were decorated in heritage style and were so comfy. The spa was so relaxing after a day of driving and to top it off, you could watch tv from the spa. The property is located right near a great pub for dinner. Perfect.
A very Victorian experience . Worth a one night stay. Elderly or mobility impaired should request a downstairs room as carrying bags up wooden high staircase is challenging. Clean room and everything worked well.
A room with large elaborate 4 posted bed with corner spa bath and shower. A well positioned couch at the foot of the bed. A reasonably stocked mini fridge and box of munchies if you need to indulge. Wife and I enjoyed the stay. Love to come.
Great rooms at a great price. Inside the rooms are lovely and huge, and the building itself is very nice. It isn't in the nicest location, but it's close to everything you'd be visiting Rockhampton for. Be aware, this is very much a place to sleep, not a resort to visit for it's own sake. Stay in the lovely rooms, but go out for meals and activities. The hotel offers a nice breakfast service, but...
Old train offices...grand old building in the middle of train yards and industrial area. Rooms were spacious, cool and dark. Great bathtub and vast, comfy bed. Enough parking out back. Good pub grub across the road. Staff very helpful and friendly.
The Denison Boutique Hotel found across the road from The Great Western Hotel. On the corner of Denison street and Stanley street. Built in 1886 was originally a office building for railway administration. But now a luxurious and romantic Hotel. My fiance and myself stayed here not to long ago for a night away from the kids. Stayed in a (Superior suite with spa bath room). The room was Victorian...

We didn’t have breakfast at the motel.the position of the motel was close to the leagues club if you wanted a meal.and a cover ed car park.the room was very spacious.
Stayed 2 nts with family in 2 rooms. Very impressed with how clean rooms were and beds very comfortable. Vaughan was very helpful and nothing was a trouble to him. Location is great with Leagues Club across the road. Traffic noise was minimal and didn't bother us. Mini bar prices very reasonable and coffee pods a great addition. Definitely stay again.
This is my 3rd stay and it's consistently comfortable. The rooms are adequate for a good night's sleep. The minibar is stocked with a few basic items but enough for snacks or a drink. Tea and coffee facilities are available as well. The host made me feel welcome. The linen and bathroom are clean and adequately stocked. The TV includes all the main channels plus Fox Sport. If you want YouTube or Netflix...
Super impressed with how clean the place is especially the bathroom! Lots of nice touches to the room, lovely aircon, comfortable bed. Been here twice now stopping in for a night between road trips. Would recommend :)
Great stay, only one night but impressed. Clean as, water and milk free in fridge is a nice touch. Appreciate the guy who served us with late check in, swift service.
This place is located perfectly for the trip down to Brisvegas! The reception is lovely and helpful. The rooms are light and very clean. Not very far from food etc. You can also order breakfast. Will be staying here again. One of the best places I've stayed in Rocky. I don't need foxtel etc. I just needed a clean bed and a clean shower and this had it.

On arrival, we were greeted with Donna at reception. She promptly checked us in and explained all we needed to know. The rooms were clean and comfortable with fridge, microwave, spa bath, shower, AC, outside deck, large TV with multiple options to view whatever you fancy. A colleague and I spent a few hours downstairs at The Bush Inn Bar & Grill Steak House for a few bears before having dinner. The...
Lovely historic pub we came across on a day trip to Rockhampton deciding to have lunch here because it is dog friendly with a well priced menu with good reviews. We both had the Goat Cheese, macadamia and fig salad with added grilled chicken $25. It was absolutely lovely we even had enough chicken for the pups so they were also delighted. Really friendly service with view of river - relaxing and welcoming
Visited Rockhampton today enjoyed the observing some of its history and beauty. Impromptu visit to Pub - couple of drinks and lunch. Our little furry friend enjoyed the break from heat and a rest - what an absolutely ripper Pub/Establishment. Wish I was there for weekend. Jenny(hope I got that right) at bar was superb - ordering a drink, a meal question about the pub and it’s incredible history and...
Excellent meal. Had the prawn, calamari and bacon fettuccine. Absolutely delicious. 5 huge Prawns and heaps of calamari. Pasta cooked to perfection and the sauce full of flavors bought it all together. Would rate meal 5 star. Only suggestion is that The table staff clear the table as you finish rather than when you leave. It's nice to be able to relax after dinner without dishes in front of you...
Came here for dinner at 6:40 pm It was quiet busy. I ordered the garlic bread to start i could see it was sitting under the hot light for ages. It came out was pretty cold! My steak was cooked to Perfection. I ordered it blue. again sat under light waiting for the waiter. You can see even the Gravy was geting a layer of skin on it from going cold! The potato bake was blend and tasted not great it...
I just want to say the service tonight 09/03 was the best customer service I’ve ever had. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately I wish I had of but the lady working/in charge of the floor tonight was absolutely lovely. There was an issue with our booking and she got us into the function room as there were no available tables for our party, we got drinks and garlic bread sent out. All of the extra stuff...

We always stay here when travelling to Rockhampton, it's easy and no hassle. One of the few places that allow our dogs. We come back everytime. The food is great too
Nice bistro but the team need to lift it a little. Ordered an entree to come out as a main - it came out as an entree (so did the table beside us). The garlic prawns were not so garlicky but more creamy. Otherwise staff were friendly and venue well appointed
Best dam local pub in the best suburb on the East Coast of Australia. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere with great value for money meals so you can lose the rest of ya pay on the horses or the keno. In my opinion, It has one of Australia's most celebrated apprentice in the kitchen. What more can a guy ask for?
My family and I booked double and single rooms at the Park Avenue Hotel for a weekend in Rocky and we were really happy with the excellent service and lovely clean rooms. We all slept very well in the comfy beds and quiet location. Will definitely stay here again.
Can't say about the rooms but have come here multiple times now. Either to eat or for schooling that has hired out their board rooms. Very lovely atmosphere, friendly stuff, professional service and even has a little room for the kids to play in
Sunday brunch with friends is good. Budget conscious lunches for pensioners and really nice roast meals. There is a conference room for use and the plate sizes are large. The eating area could do with a bit more lighting for daytime. Parking is easy and there is an outdoor eating area that is popular.

A lovely place to be, people are great to converse with as well enjoy singing at their Karaoke venue, I give it one hundred and one per cent.
Great pub, old style friendly, no pokies, pool table friendly, cheap schooners , good people great atmosphere. Karoke on Fridays nights, darts and pool ranked competitions 3 nights a week. 3 Pool tables, a swimming pool, airconditoned bar, coldest beers on tap. Give it a go.
This place is an excellent location whether your staying one night or a week, the manager and facilities of this hotel are second to none. Clean rooms at an affordable price. And your made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Definitely be back and telling all about this place..

Friendly host and cute dog! Basic facilities and close enough to walk into town. Fine for stopping off point.
The host was friendly enough, room was clean, bed was clean and comfortable, loungroom and bathroom was clean, pool looked nice but didn't get a chance to go in because of storms. Everyone mainly kept to themselves.
