Hotels in Thredbo

The place is amazing. Price seems reasonable for seasonal business. Plenty of parkings. Nice bar selling hot wine. Nice fresh and hot donuts 🍩 with hot coffee. Nice food area. I would like to give 5 star, but only thing stopped me is that don't allow toboggan and we being 7years to 65years old family combinations, some having first time felt bit sadden as less place to play with family.

Thredboland is the best! Drop the kids off at 8.30am and pick them up at 3.30pm so mum and dad get a holiday too. After 5 days at Thredbo land our kids could ski blue runs and they loved every day of it.

This place is amazing. Everything and everyone is nice, the vibe, the atmosphere and nature is outstanding. The only problem i had was parking area, and because of lack of 🅿️ you need to use the local transportation which is mini buses and they are always packed. Overall i would come here again.

These are the locations I have seen only in movies..literally experienced snow storms and all places covered with 1-2 feet of snow... wonderful experience... must visit.. perhaps July is the right time

Dropped in. Little snow so only one lift operating up to the restaurant. $200 for five people to go up, 3 kids! Crazy. The restaurant was nice. Absolute freezing at the top and the staff in the restaurant were fantastic. Much different to perisher in the layout, everything is at the bottom of the hills however large amount of accommodation.

While it was their first day, Anita, Joe and Luke from Bike Patrol did a great job of getting me and my bike off the mountain safely after I crashed. Luckily for me, Luke was a ranga and gave me good luck. Anita had cool sunnies. Joe had less cool sunnies. Huge thanks to them and Thredbo.

Balcony with the mountain view (although I booked this) and a nice heater in the room as it was a pretty cold weekend. Lovely cosy dressing gowns. Milk in the fridge, biscuits, tea, coffee. Nice clean room and overall a lovely bed. Free breakfast was also wonderful, I didn't have to search out an open place outside and it was nice to just get up and go down. A good selection of cold meats/fish...

Typical 1970s ski lodge. Accommodation is generally clean, very very basic, needs some maintenance and is extraordinary overpriced. The rooms remind me of a country town motel from several decades ago and wouldn’t be worth more than $100 a night if they were located in said country town but as it’s Thredbo you’ll pay three times as much, even in the summer season for very basic accommodation. Great bar for after a day of skiing. The barman was very knowledgeable willing to explain us the different schnapps, but we were the only ones in there so I can imagine the service would be a bit different when its full.,

Dining at the Terrace where provides a great atmosphere -the food are delicious and the service is absolutely ten/ten. Highly recommended to people who loves snow and enjoy beautiful food.

Everything about the Denman is spectacular! Accommodation, food and the bar! Staff are attentive and nothing is ever to much. This place really made our weekend away extra special

We had a great time during Easter weekend. The room was warm and inviting. Right in the middle of the action. A note to remember is that the rooms are individually owned and the reception was not part of our room... thus the review is for the room ...not the reception

I stayed in Apartment 6 for 4 nights with my wife and 4 kids in July 2022. This was an amazing apartment, 10/10 modern and luxury accomodation. I was blown away it exceeded all my expectations. It had the most ideal location for a first time visitor in Thredbo, especially if you are worried about driving in snow or want to be in the middle of the village square. Great apartment and location, good facilities. Only problem we had was parking, although a space comes with the apartment we were unable to use the one allocated due to the gradient of the road, angle of access and low profile of our car, we scratched the underneath of the car on the bollard.

There are definitely some great apartments in this block. Just make sure you pick a good one. Amazing views and in winter the balcony's are covered with snow. :)

There are some good and not so good places here. The nanook properties are the best and only a little more expensive. Nanook is 5 stars , but last room I stayed in squatters run was only 3 star. It did not have a radio, shampoo, coffee, tea or hairdryer. The Nanook rooms at squatters run have a coffee maker , herbal teas , chocolates, premium linens , pay tv .......

A super place to spend a few days. Right in the right spot - easy to the Main Street and great views from our balcony.

We stayed two nights with the kids in a lovely, peaceful location on top of a mountain. Fab was also very kind and welcoming. She prepared an amazing breakfast for us.

A bit further away from the snow fields but still a short walk down. Beautiful bedrooms and views from the bedroom and the communual dining area. The chalets have only a few rooms so it's quite romantic and boutique like. Breakfast is made to order. Would definitely come back.

Flexibility of the combination lock and size of the apartment. Drying room or bath room was very well set up. Bed was very comfortable.

Spent a week here skiing. The cabin is very conveniently placed for getting the free shuttle bus to the slopes (only 2 min)! The cabin is cozy, warm and has great decor! It has everything you need to chill out after a good day's skiing with netflix, hot beverages and other amenities. The best bit was viewing the Saturday night flare run from the balcony.

Absolutely loved my stay at Chill Out Thredbo. The location was fantastic for skiing, being walking distance of Thredbo Village shops and restaurants, and access to a free shuttle service to the base of the mountain for skiing. What an awesome place to stay. Chill-out was spotless, well supplied with everything you could ask for (and more), comfy and cosy. The bed was wonderful - I want one at home! The location was fantastic and The Burger Bar at the entrance to the apartments is a great place for a meal. Highly recommended accommodation.

We stayed here with a young family and had a epic time! The unit has everything you need and is extremely comfy/clean/elegant. We cooked nice home cooked meals every night and the unit had everything we needed to do so. The virtual lack of Wi-Fi in a hotel these days is unforgivable. Fix this and put in some decent bike storage and it would be great. In saying that, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Judy & Ed are wonderful hosts! A boutique experience on the threshold of breath-taking views of the snow fields. Eclectic state of the art restaurant- romantic & loved the Serge Gainsbourg soundtrack!

The food at the terrace restaurant is to die for - especially the venison. And the beef. And the beetroot ravioli I could marry

Great place right near Friday flats. We stayed in number 8. It was very well setup and well set out. However no wifi include is a bit of a let down

Stayed 3 nights in summer for MTb riding and family holiday. Place was super comfy and great to have a garage for car and bikes. Upstairs got pretty warm but once we worked out how to use the electric window we managed 😃 check in was fine and will be making this an annual family trip I hope. Great location within easy walking distance of the ski lifts at Friday Flat and the leisure centre. Good sized rooms with pleasant decor, large view capturing windows and fantastic bathroom. The gas fireplace and lock up garage are bonuses too.

Modern 3 bedroom apartment on 3 levels (one bedroom on each level), large living room and 2 bathrooms. It is located very close to Friday Flat and Fitness centre. Has also one lock-up garage, drying room, laundry, small kitchen and balcony with a BBQ.

Customer service was great. Room was great. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Very clean. Great shower. I dined in the restaurant on my last night and it was mouth watering!!

New year's eve dinner, probably one of the best meals we have had. The combination of flavours of the fixed menu (some options) were amazing. Fantastic calamari, the most succulent flavousome steak and great service. The window seat view of the mountains with a bit of snow here and there made the perfect backdrop.

We had a fantastic experience at Bernti's. We found the service was first class and everyone in our party said their food was really nice. It isn't the cheapest place but in our view it was definitely worth it and I would recommend it as on of the best places I've dined at.

We received a lovely welcome from a young staff member who went on to serve us. The character and atmosphere of Berntis' was congenial and very welcome after our long drive from Melbourne. Service was prompt and the food delicious. Overall, an excellent evening!

This was one of the best meals/dining experiences I have had in a long time. The calamari was outstanding and the steak perfect. The wine and cocktails great. The service from the team was top notch too. I cannot recommend enough.

Awesome steaks for a Sunday night and we didn't need to book. The manager asked if we could move for a red wine each on the house so he could accommodate for a larger crowd and we happily obliged. The help and management were very attentive. We gave them a tip because we were so impressed. Definitely coming back.

Conveniently located. Very clean. Good kitchen, clean, lots of equipment. Good common room/dining room. A bit too few shower rooms and toilets, but they are very clean. Reception is friendly and helpful. Like many other accommodations in Thredbo, there is no overnight parkings at the hostel, but overnight parking spots can be found just about 100 metres away.

Very friendly staff and great value for money. The only issue was that there were only 2 toilets in the whole building, but great otherwise.

What a great location, right in the heart of the village. Allowed us to walk to everything. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and bar downstairs with restaurant was terrific.

Great location. Great staff. The minus is that the rooms are a bit cramped (we got the quadruple sharing), that it had no place for either a bedside table or a work table. Such that I had to use my laptop on the bed which was not ideal. The beds and toilets were newly renovated.

Thank you for the most amazing little family holiday! Rooms were in the most perfect location making it super easy to come and go with the kids throughout the day! Staff were friendly and accomodating and the views from our room were fanatic!! We will be back next season for sure!

Amazing views from our room and location is very central to the town village. I felt that these were the two factors that we paid for and everything else fell a bit short. Most hallways, stairs and foyer are ship like and if passing someone one party has to give way and stand still. Entrance and unloading is difficult even in good conditions. A lovely lodge perched on the side of the hill with fabulous views of the mountain. Lots of stairs which can be a bit daunting at the end of a full day skiing or biking. Great service with a smile. Best food on the mountain. Bar and restaurant are closed Monday and Tuesday.

All the staff were friendly. With every staff member no request was an issueall were helpful. the food was excellent. The night life Jock was great. The hotel is extremely tired and needs alot of work but very clean. The top balcony needs replacing urgently. The hotel needs new beds. The parking is only pick up and drop off only but the bus service(winter only) is regular.

A really nice place to stay in Thredbo! We had the family room that fit 5 people, very clean, spacious and warm. The lodge provides breakfast and dinner by booking in advance. They also have a vintage bar with life music over the weekend. Annie is very kind and really accommodated our late check in. She also helped to pick up us after our walk. The staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating, lovely view of the mountains! Restaurant closed during the off season though but plenty of places to eat just a quick walk away

Owners were excellent, very comforting and so so nice, very good stay will definitely be back again!!

It have a cosy vibe. The room was plenty big enough for two people and super warm for the cold rainy weather. The added bonus was breakfast was included.

The location is very good! Close to the ski lift, Gandola and most the restaurants. They serve free breakfast and is good. The rooms and beds are clean. The toilet is well maintained. We could see the Saturday fireworks from our room window. It is recommended to book parking in advance over weekend. The public parking is almost 1km far.

The best! Definitely felt more like staying at Jackie and Matt's place than at a hotel. Super friendly and welcoming service from two absolutely first class humans. The place itself is great. Amazing views, right in the village and super clean and cosy. Highly recommend

Stoked to be able to stay right in the middle of Thredbo at Winterhaus this year!! Great location, perched high up with fantastic views of the mountain. Older building however kept immaculately clean and with loads of charm, character and a good vibe. Very comfortable accomodation, kept toasty warm and the most amazing breakfast served every morning. We love this place and try to go back every year. It's free-standing, secluded, and right next to a beautiful flowing stream. It has a lovely alpine feel to it and wonderful views of the mountain. Can't wait to return.
