The hotel definitely needs a refresh asap. Also rooms are quite cold. But! Food in the restaurant is homemade like in my grandma's house, people are super polite and make you feel comfortable, view is fantastic... Having bad experience with so many places with horrible service and bad kitchen during the last couple of months, I really could close my eyes about the old school ambient.

A magnificent view of the Balkan mountain. Breathtaking memorable experience, even from the rooms windows. The hotel is quite old and had been going a neverending renovation. There is a swimming pool, also under reconstruction. The food is OK. Pricing is as expected for this type of accommodation.

Great place, but with 2 cons: 1. Insufficient hot water in the bathroom, despite the solar collectors 2. 1 liter of mineral water - 4 BGN, maybe because of the lack of an alternative where to buy it nearby. Small but important notes!

Super hotel complex! We spent the New Year holidays here. Accommodation conditions are good. Clean room, warm and has hot water. The restaurant and service were also up to par. Delicious food. The staff is top. If possible, I would also visit during the summer season, there is a swimming pool and the place is nice.

Nice place due to it's view and location. It was clean. What I disliked was the small size of the bathroom and the fact that they didn't have any covid measures in the restaurant. Balconies are not fully separated so you can see and hear your neighbors which makes the whole magic of the place a bit uncomfortable.

A bit shabby, but the view is marvellous. Food is simple but fresh and plentiful. It's very quiet and there are plenty of nature hikes and walks in the vicinity, though it's best to hire a car to get to them.

Good rooms @ a good price. The food though, especially the lunch menu, is bad and extremely expensive. For example, the cucumber in the shopska salad (5+ leva) today was probably from an old salad - was already transparent and smelled like it stayed cut in the fridge for a long time.

The place is great. The hotel is middle level. The staff - quite unfriendly. Cleanliness - not good enough. Facilities - limited. Restaurant - poor.

General nice atmosphere and a good hotel, great mountain view

Great location,warm atmosphere,very kind stuff,clean and spacious rooms and apartments.We enjoyed our stay very much and plan on coming back next year.There’s so much to do locally,especially if you like hiking,horse riding or just a dip in the river.The hotel provides breakfast and there’s a wonderful restaurant on the side of the free car park.If you fancy a swim ,there is a beautiful pool on site...

Nice big beds. Humongous actually when you are single in a double room. The food wasn't as good as expected. Didn't even look appetizing. All in all subaverage.

Perfectly located as my base for the climb/hike to the nearby Mountain Botev and the peak. The Hotel had everything that i required and more, the room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty and inexpensive. I'm very satisfied with my visit and will stay again in the future.

Good place. The staff was some kind of distracted and not so on point when serving.

Great view to the mountains. Delicious local food. You can feel the spirit of ancient times inside the hotel. Next to the park. Pets friendly. Hope to visit it again this summer. Thanks for the great food and service.

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Staff was friendly, nice garden, clean rooms ... :) I recommend this place!

Not the best place to stay but it's fine for a quick holiday. The bathroom is really cold. Bring warm clothes in the winter. No dining available, we had to search for the nearest restaurant.

Its a family hotel with really sweet and polite owners. There is a breakfast included in the price and it’s usually homemade banitza, pancakes (delicious) or smth else. The view is amazing! Perfect for relax. Our room had a balcony and the bathroom was completely renovated.

I never take the time to rate places but wow this hotel deserves it. The hotel is really peaceful and the view incredible. Rooms are basically but nice. But the most important is that the family running it is the nicest I've ever met ! Always here for you. Going out of their way to help you. Had 2 amazing days there. Thank you

This indeed is a quiet place. Located away from the main road and on top of a small hill the hotel also opens a great view towards the Balkan mountains and the magnificent Maragidik peak. The hosting family is very nice and hospitable. Rooms are clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant is homemade and tasty. We enjoyed the stay here and will return again soon

Good and cheap place for your holidays

Amazing spot, pictures don't do it justice! Extremely clean, convenient, has all necessary amenities and beyond! The best part were the hosts - made the whe group feel like home. We are definitely coming back for the one of a kind experience!

Almost ideal service: close to the center, on the road to Troyan; space for cars in the yard; the employee is responsive; the pool is clean but cannot be watched underwater, entertainment for children. Notes: the floor of one bathroom is not made properly and there is Wi-Fi only in the front house.

We liked the location, the common facilities and the good mood of the owner.

Nice and clean rooms, but dirty common areas. The owner is strange, I would liken him to a hut;) A key feature is the presence of many stairs, so I would not recommend for families with children under 3 years, we always had to be vigilant. Very nice yard and enough parking spaces. Overall, I think the conditions are ok, given the low prices.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the enchanting Villa Verbena in Apriltsi, Bulgaria, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. Wonderful hosts and spectacular setting. Absolute hidden gem. We went for a very long hike and got lost, ended up being 4 hours away from our car with no busses or taxis. The host was super nice and came to get us.

If you are looking for a remote location, in the middle of the forest /mountains, with great hosts, great food (just accept what they are offering for dinner, you will not regret it!), great rooms (do not expect 5 stars Hilton' style rooms, but very clean, big room with big beds) and great courtyard, this is the perfect place in Northern Bulgaria. The hotel is very pleasent. The whole staff was very polite and prepared breakfast in advance having in mind our early wake up at 6:30. Will suggest the hotel to friends for sure and will come again.

Great place with amazing food and great atmosphere. The only small issue was that the staff wasn't really keen on giving the guests a good experience they are nice people they just lacked the good positive attitude

Really nice experience and tasty food, homemade sausage was amazing and with very original taste! Only cash payment possible and no English menu.

Decent food overall, nice atmosphere, the service was OK. I would only point that we ordered fries which were pretty oily. The waitress said there was nothing wrong with them, but the person who ate them had stomachache afterwards.

Nice, cost place with new and fully equipped kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds and polite staff. Green area around houses are not well kept.

A great place to relax with a group of friends. Each house has two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Plus a couch in the living-room. Bring your own shampoo though ;)
