Staff were friendly and the room was nice and clean. Large comfy bed. We had a pet friendly room and it had a massive hot tub in it. How fantastic! The Chinese food in the restaurant is DELICIOUS. Loved the large logs used to create a great place to eat and stay.

Dianna was wonderful to us and our children. Extra blankets, towels and pillows provided. Goody bags full of snacks for the kids. We felt very welcomed. The lodge was beautifully designed. Our Chinese food, was good with large portions. Their house wine was the full of flavor. Dianna and Lena took care of us in the restaurant to make sure we had everything we needed to making our dinning experience...

The building is superb! We visited on Sunday 9th October 2022. The service was good but I have to say.. its chicken chow main with everything. It has replaced Spam as the everything dish. You can order about five combination dishes, BUT they all start with chicken chiw main.

Clean as clean can get rooms. BEDS ARE AWESOME!!! Had super in the restaurant Only Chinese food served and it was some of the best Chinese Food I ever ordered in a small town. Places is run by 2 people from what I saw they run a tight ship with beautiful accents all over the place. Highly recommended. Great value. Freshly painted. Above expectations for an older motel. Quiet. Dog friendly. Easy central location. Well looked after. We don't often stay in motels and this was well worth it.

Great place to stay, clean room, friendly staff, comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is to turn the thermostat off and the AC on a low temp when the weather is above 20 degrees! Thanks for the hospitality, we will be back :)

We stayed here for the night with our two little kids on the way to visit family and then on the way back, we stopped again. They remembered us and upgraded us to a room with a bigger bed and a crib! It was such a nice gesture and really helpful. Otherwise, the room was clean and simple and just what we needed for a quick stay. We will definitely stay there again! Thank you!

Friendly Service, Great Location, Extremely Comfortable Bed. Honestly, I haven't slept that well in years. I usually wake up with back pain, after sleeping here, I woke up refreshed and relaxed.

There was a massive storm that took the power out to the whole town. We were out at the time, but when we came back, the proprietor was waiting outside with an umbrella to make sure we were okay and give us an update on when we could expect the power back. Absolutely top bloke! The local convenience store stayed open serving by torchlight as well so we could at least get something to eat.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly and prompt front desk service, and well stocked room including coffee, a toaster, a kettle, some dish ware and more. The AC was great too, as it was 30+ degrees during our stay! Would definitely recommend to others.

Wow! I was driving with my Mom and nephew from MB to Prince Rupert approx 2 weeks ago, we stopped in here late at night as I suddenly got so fatigued I needed to rest. So welcoming and while travelling with my mom who's disabled he was able to offer us a appartmrnt Suite Type unit for the night. Very affordable, clean, fresh towels. I would highly recommend this place to anyone even with mobility Issues...

Our truck broke down in Clinton and we needed a room asap. Paul was very friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and comfortable! He had no problem with us having a very late checkout while we had to wait for parts for the truck. Highly recommend!

The motel had nice quiet rooms with clean and comfortable beds. It's definitely an older building that is showing its age, but the staff were so friendly and helpful (they even brought treats for our dogs!) A good, cheap place to spend the night.

It's a one star hotel, so don't be expecting the Ritz or a family getaway. What it is, is clean, with up to date rooms that have good beds, sheets and pillows. Owner is great, sandman nights are great (make sure get your lucky 13). Wi-Fi isn't that fast, but Netflix is usually ok. Spent roughly 30 nights in 2017 and will staying again in 2018.

So nice. It is a road side hotel so dont expect a million dollar chain. Rooms are clean. Carpwt looked new.. swimming pool was working and clean and so nice on hot days. Really sweet lady, she honestly made the stay. She worked the office until 11pm and checked us in so late, then opened the subway for our breakfast, made a fresh pot of coffee for us too. Rooms were very clean, awesome blankets and pillows. Mattress was a bit firm but my spouse loved it. I would stay again just for the customer service. Was there over night for work. Pretty standard, no problems. Had a good sleep and that's all I really expect.

The rooms were kind of clean, everything was old and well worn. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. Location was quiet and that was about all that I found appealing. Service was absolutely wonderful however.

The owner is excellent. Very kind, very accommodating, treated us like gold and made the bed in our rooms every day on a very on a longer stay. Definitely thoughtful and considerate to people. Above and beyond for us. He even lifted an extra fridge to our rooms to store food for work. Will stay here anytime I'm working. Thank you

The rooms are small but the welcome is huge. We would give a 5 star rating but for the size of the rooms. Sparkling clean, comfortable bed. The best sleep I have had in weeks. I would stay here again. Great little coffee shop across the road.

I arrived in Cache Creek without a reservation. The Sunset Motel was able to give me a room. When I went into the room I was pleasantly surprised by how good it looked. The bed was well made and stacked with towels.. The decor was renovated and look well done. The room was spotlessly clean. The amenities included a decent TV, Keurig coffee machine with pods, 2 actual ceramic mugs, 2 glass wine glasses...

I just wanted to say the barmaid in the pub Tina is the best advertising for this pub. She is so friendly and remembers us every time we come in. We only come in the summer as we live in White Rock but have a cabin in Fountain Valley. Every time we come to Cache Creek, a year later she recognizes us and makes us feel very welcome. Tina Is the best part of this place !! If you are either traveling through town or staying a few nights this is the place to be. The service is the pride of the town and Tina will keep you entertained with all her jokes and smiles She is the beat !!

The stay was great and Tina was above and beyond with service in the pub. Would highly recommend coming to the pub here and enjoying your night with Tina bartending, 10/10 service and a very fun bartender to have a great conversation with. Wold definitely come here again.

The room is basic but fine, with a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and a very good heater (gas operated, so ask them to show you, if you're unfamiliar). I give 3 stars bc, even though the rooms are non-smoking, the guests ignored that rule my room was very smoky. To her credit, the owner did assertively tell other guests that they can't smoke, but... Super helpful and friendly front desk staff. The room was clean and comfortable. We slept with the window open and never had issues with any road noise. Bed and towels were all clean and the bathroom looked good. Really great rates ($66 a night after tax) compared to Kamloops where all we could find was $150 for two single beds. I was a big fan and would 100% stay here again or recommend this place...

Foods great!!. Maybe not so much the wrap or the club house. Both are created with a deli sliced meat. Nice but lacking appeal. Now the Beef dip,Fish n chips,Reuben soooo yummy . Fries are not greasy. Oddly take out pasta served on paper. But also very good.

I stayed at The Lodge in Clinton, BC several times in 1998 and 1999. I was commissioning a thermal energy system in a nearby lumber mill. When I had to work late shifts, the staff would make my dinner and leave it in the microwave for me. They would also leave me a key to acces the kitchen and dining room. When I had to work the overnight shift, the staff would wait until I was awake from sleeping...

I've stayed and had breakfast here two times already and each time it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and have the essentials: a mini fridge, coffee maker and ample space. The breakfast is my favorite part of the stay, so delicious. I will definitely return just because I love having breakfast here.

We ordered the Cariboo breakfast and looking at the photo in the menu, it is good to share..When the meal was served, surprised that our food was already split into two plates and really appreciate what the chef did. We went here for lunch. Beautiful town, beautiful log restaurant with patio in the back so we could take our dogs, very important when you are driving through in the summer. Great food! Fresh and tasty. Nice staff. I would definitely stop here again and even take a little extra time to support the businesses in Clinton.
