Breakfast was amazing, a full meal buffet style, hashbrowns, eggs, bacon or sausage, ham, waffle maker, syrup, butter, fruit cups, snacks like brownies, cookies, cereal, milk, non-diary milk! juices, tea, coffee. Location was great in Duncan, away from the not so great part.

The pub has a good variety of tasty starters and main dishes. I have been here many times over the years and can always count on good food and pleasant atmosphere.

A beautiful, newly-renovated hotel with easy access just off the Trans-Canada Highway. Our group uses the meeting rooms on a regular basis - they are quiet and spacious with comfortable seating - and the hotel caters to all our needs. There is a mall just across the street, and historic, downtown Duncan is just 3.5 km away. Without a doubt, the nicest hotel and the best venue services in Duncan

Very nice hotel with great staff! Our whole crew wasn't able to stay at the hotel due to room availability and they checked every day for cancellations incase we could use the extra rooms. They went above and beyond for us. We greatly appreciate the staff at the Best Western Cowichan Valley Inn!

Just checked out. I find it very confusing when I read all the negative reviews. Hotel was brand spanking new clean, room service did their job. Continental breakfast everyday at from 7-9. Can’t wait for my next stay here!

Great hotel. It is currently closed for extensive renovations. Will be beautiful when finished. The pub is still open for lunch and dinner. Great food

The new managers are awesome! They really have done a excellent job of not only cleaning up every room, but renovating as well! No druggies and No Bugs! Clean and quiet is what you will get when you stay at the Falcon Nest!

Very friendly small but nice clean pool. Older units some with air conditioning others just fans.parking is tight but available..very close to restaurants& shops.

It is an old place but the lowest price in town for a motel. Doug is an excellent manager and a good person. Since it is next door to McDonald's and Boston Pizza I have indulged in junk food a few times - more than I have in the previous 20 years combined! Lol

Rooms are closed for renovations however both restaurants and banquet services are open. Food is amazing and fresh. Staff are polite. The facility is clean and well cared for.

Absolutely unbelievable customer service! I had a minor problem with a to-go order from the Old Fork. It was no big deal, but the length they went to, to make it up to me, was above and beyond anything I've ever experienced or expected! The food was amazing and the customer service made me a customer for life!

My husband and I are from Ontario and we stayed here In mid July. Monica the hostess and her staff go above and beyond to make sure you always have everything you need and even make sure they are around to say goodbye when you leave. We have used this location for dinner meetings for a professional association. Staff are welcoming, efficient and professional. The room setup is quick and easy as the staff have everything readied according to your needs. The catered dinners we have chosen have been buffet style and we haven't been let down. Food is well prepared and plentiful.

I wasn’t expecting much for the price and online. When in fact I arrived and was very pleasantly surprised by the room. Extremely spacious, very comfortable, and the soaker tub never hurts either. The front desk girl was amazing when I checked in, and that interaction made me feel welcome back on my next trip to the Cowichan valley. Thank you staff for being so accommodating! I was in town for a nighttime film production and very much needed a late checkout. The staff arranged this for me as well as placed an extra lovely duvet on the bed for me. The room was basic but clean. The bed was comfy with crisp sheets. The shower had lots of pressure and hot water. I really appreciated the laminate floors as it is much more hygienic...

Very clean. Bed was great, very firm but for me that was excellent. Very dated, a bit like stepping back into the 90's. Fixtures are old but well maintained. Couch showing its age a bit. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I don't write reviews usually but I always really enjoy my stay here. The rooms are very clean 'the beds comfortable,and the staff is always a pleasure to be around The restaurant out in front is awesome as well. Host's are very friendly and accommodating. I have been coming for several years now for business. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, and excellent value. The internet is fast and makes keeping up to date with the office easy. Phone is free and that makes calling home at night very convenient. It is perfect for my overnight trips.

Five stars is for clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. The gentleman from front desk took time to go out with me an show me where I can park my truck and trailer. The room was spotless. There is a restaurant on site serving breakfast from 730am.

This may be the perfect B&B experience. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Lovely, quiet and private room with thoughtful amenities, luxurious bathroom, pretty view, nice hosts, tasty (healthy) breakfast, strong wifi. And a great price for all of this! Thanks, Jan!

I wonder why I've subjected myself to crummy 3 star hotel treatments for so long when on work trips. Forget the pool and gym. This place is excellent value! You get a large, well-appointed room with a view, really clean and cosy environment, a bath with everything you will ever need, coffee, tea and a breakfast that leaves the cereal-toast-and-muffins fare in the dust. Jan & Rick were excellent hosts, the 'Lavender Suite ' was beautiful and very comfortable. It was full of many extra's. The view from the room was gorgeous. The breakfasts were delicious. We will definitely stay here again!!

This was an absolutely fantastic experience. The owners were incredibly polite and hospitable. The food was fantastic and the room itself was extremely comfortable. The location itself was absolutely beautiful. You get to wake up to an amazing view and birds singing in the morning. This was a great experience and I highly recommend this to anyone

This was our first time in a B&B and the Valley View Bed and Breakfast did not disappoint! Jan and Rick are awesome hosts and the breakfast was wonderful. The room is beautiful and spacious as was the private ensuite bathroom. Highly recommend and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I would give it 6 stars if I could! The owner is a warm and lovely host, even going so far as to pack us a take out breakfast for our early ferry. The location is picturesque, we had a deer family visit us one morning, and of course hummingbirds. It is just a few blocks away from the bay, where you can walk right down to the water. The pillows are soft and fluffy, leaves you feeling like you're sleeping...

We didn’t want to leave. An amazing experience and we will probably Go there again. The bed, the shower, the breakfasts and the visiting deer were all just great. Sharon and Barry are wonderful hosts.

Very clean room with a comfy bed and fluffy big pillows. The breakfasts were delicious and copious amounts of food that kept us going all day. Was very nice to meet the owners who have now become friends and can’t wait to return to this beautiful area when the spring and summer return. We stayed at Hummer's Haven recently for a few nights. The room was the perfect size for the two of us. When we arrived the room looked so inviting for two weary travellers with the white bed covers and two little stuffies. I recently had a very pleasant experience being pampered at Hummers Haven Bed and Breakfast an Exceptional and Amazing place!.The family made me feel like a precious family member. Very nice couple own the home. The breakfast was excellent. Each day they had something slightly different and very delicious. They were pleasant to talk to. Wifi was good and the beds comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

My cousin called it snazzy! It is spacious and the perfect get away spot. We enjoyed a European sour dough grilled cheese sandwich with a complementary bottle of wine. There are cozy nooks everywhere. The owner is a delightful man! Thank you, our trip was amazing!

Great old house with loads of characters, lovely, relaxed host, cozy, spotless and comfortable room. Living room was inviting with a huge fire place and loads of wood for us to use. Breakfast was 10/10 (even fresh baked scones) so good. Thank you and see you again.

I refer all my family and friends to this fabulous B&B in Duncan. Beautiful home, with character and wonderful grounds to take a stroll. The room was lovely, quaint, and the bed so comfy! The hosts, Teresa and Jim, are absolutely warm and wonderful. The house lives up to its name with beautiful, original wood paneling throughout and beautifully appointed rooms and very comfortable beds. The verandah and great room are fabulous places to relax, outside or inside. The property is surrounded by magnificent trees. Teresa is an exceptional chef so guests can expect a delicious breakfast

This is an older ptoperty with older furnishings. It is spotlessly maintained and perfect for my needs

We showed up on a Sunday after a 2-day drive. The lady came in to meet us and everything was so wonderful. Wifi works great, there was a VHS with a ton of VHS movies for us to watch. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and accomodating. I would recommend Rosedale Manor to everyone. It feels exactly like being at home.

Stayed there for a week in summer 2018. Very pleased. The bathrooms and rooms were clean. Good amount of kitchenware made the stay quite pleasant. Cozy, a time capsule from what feels like 70s.

Stayed here a week and had a lovely time. Very clean and we had everything we needed in our kitchen to cook our meals. Highly recommend for the value because you get a full sized condo for the price of a motel room. Bottle of wine upon arrival was a nice touch.

Remarkably clean and tidy. One- and two-bedroom apartment-style hotel rooms. Fully furnished, including a full kitchen with appliances and dishes / cutlery. No 24/7 front desk, so you have to call the manager to check in/out. Typically longer term stays, but receptive to short term stays as well!
