We got a suite. It was nice fairly clean. Bathroom was kinda dated but nothing terrible. Breakfast was basic but worked for us… and the coffee was good! Hint with the bear suite… look behind the curtain for the double bed! Took us much longer than it should have to found it! Haha… we were tired

Very friendly staff, rooms clean and functional. The breakfast provided was truly a ‘full continental breakfast’ unlike many others we have had to endure. Another bonus was the ability to park almost at the rooms door. Would not hesitate to return.

We scored a family friendly, pet friendly room, last minute at a busy time and it worked well for us. Granddaughter loved the pool. Laundry really useful. Really great value breakfast included. It’s on the highway but it wasn’t a problem for us.

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and it was fantastic. The "hands off" approach really made us able to appreciate our guests and company, without worrying about lodge staff. The ability to chose our own caterers, decorations, alcohol service etc, was absolutely perfect for us as a couple. We hosted our wedding at Elk View Lodge and had such a wonderful time! The space was perfect for our families to enjoy inside and out. The view is amazing and the house itself was bright and clean. It was great to have the space to ourselves for three nights, so we could enjoy the company of our guests before and after the wedding. Thank you Shantelle and Andy!

Great little hostel - had everything I needed

Room was clean, dark and quiet enough. Common area was comfy but pool table needs some love and shortage of cooking paraphernalia. Downstairs washroom was sticky

The stay at Raging Elk was alright, but the pictures looked better than the reality. In the end it's a hostel with bunk beds, sauna is not working, so that was a little scam, but the people there are nice.

A LOT FOR A LITTLE Was better than we expected--clean, comfortable enough, quiet and the price was great for FERNIE!
