Carriage House Inn

We stopped here on a road trip out to the east coast and what a perfect place to experience Fredericton! Angie was incredibly kind and personable, the location is so close to the amazing walking bridge and other amenities. We were lucky to arrive on New Brunswick Day so there was a lot of entertainment going on within a couple minutes of the Carriage House.
The building is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are so comfortable. We did have an issue where a bat flew into the room via the fireplace at 4am, but after a few minutes it flew back out. It was hilarious in hindsight. Just a word of warning, check to make sure the flue is closed.
Would absolutely stay here again. Loved it.

We always enjoy staying at the Carriage House Inn. Angie was friendly and made sure we were taken care of from the get go. The rooms haven’t changed and are comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and so was the coffee!! We can’t wait to come back for another stay !

You couldn't ask for a better stay in Fredericton. The historic house is full of charm, we stayed up by the fireplace and read their selection of interesting books. The rooms are quaint and cozy. Best sleep ever. And the breakfast will be the highlight of your day.

Gosh this place is wonderful. Angie, the maven of magic who runs the place is generous, on top of everything, and hilarious. She offered to pick things up for me, makes the best pancakes for breakfast, and was very laid back. The room I was in was gorgeous, warm and comfortable, and I also spent time in the pretty sitting room on the main floor. You are close to downtown and two minutes from a beautiful pedestrian bridge that stretches over the St.John river.

We only stayed for one night but it was absolutely lovely! We loved the decor and vibe here. The owner and staff were so charming and accommodating. As previous guests have mentioned the breakfast was amazing! I cannot recommend the pancakes enough! Also it is walking distance from downtown and a very cool walking bridge

What a beautiful cozy Victorian house. Can't say enough about our numerous stays at this old gem. Rooms have the original hardwood floors and high ceilings, super nice. The host is extremely welcoming and super friendly. Also, the pancake breakfast is the best around town, hands down. Highly recommend

Our room was clean, quiet and well-appointed. Angie was the perfect host - helpful, understanding, kind and professional. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here for the very first time last evening! Right off the bat we found the carriage house to be so cozy and warm. Angie is HILARIOUS and entertaining! She made us feel at home and told us we could look around and do whatever we wanted, so we took photos of the art work and the beautiful wood pieces throughout. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to watch some sitcoms on the flat screen in our room. The bathroom was the perfect size and very clean, as was the room. Angie made us a BEAUTIFUL breakfast. 100000/10 for the blueberry banana pancakes, and my husband loved the meat on meat option lol! We way preferred this beautiful historic B&B over any hotel and will definitely be returning! 10 stars for Angie :)
