Rondo Motel

Warning ⚠️ Do not stay in this motel because they are scammers and overcharge your credit card after 2 days if you give negative reviews and they know you are tourist so can’t come back. If you inquire about overcharge then they will not receive your call and give you stupid reason on email like Room was damaged and 3 people stayed instead of 2, even you will not at fault but they will lied to you scam you.

Terrible service. My toilet and bathtub where clogged. Instead of fixing the problem he gave a plunger and told me to fix it myself. Extremely rude, rooms were disgusting. Don't stay here

Booked on Expedia, went to check in at 4pm, office said open. No one was in there. Sign on door read be back in 10 minutes. Waited 40 minutes, called multiple times, knocked with no answer. Finally left and spend as hour on the phone with Expedia trying to move reso. Very annoying

DO NOT STAY HERE! Honestly, your car will be more comfortable and affordable. I wish I could rate lower than 1 star. These online pictures are fake. The room that my partner and I stayed in looked nothing like what is being advertised here. There is no hot tub or pool. The breaker in our room tripped three times throughout our one night stay. The room was filthy and moldy. When we asked the owner for a discount because of the rooms issues he would not refund us any sort of compensation. For $180 a night this place is a serious joke. I didn’t feel safe or clean while staying here for one night at all. I highly recommend never staying here. I have no idea how this motel is allowed to continue to operate with their standards. Don’t do it. I have never written a bad review, but this one needed to be posted. I wouldn’t want anyone else to waste their money and have a horrible experience like I did.

Our first room was very dirty. We asked to get another room and it was as dirty as the first one. We also asked to get the vacuum cleaner and do the cleaning on our own…
The answer was “you guys check out”, so we were kicked out straight away on a very impolite way.
Another guest was at the same situation than us and he also was kicked out, same forms.
I guess this place will be closed very soon, if not, it should.
DO NOT GO!

Booked a room for tonight, room has gravel/sand so we inform the desk agent. He gave us another room, same condition (floor not vacuumed, dirt and gravel), gave is a 3 room....
When we asked for a broom or vacuum to do it ourselves, he just kicked us out simply with a "you go" and did not say another word.
Got our money back but would not recommend the place at all, staff was plain rude, room are old and cleanliness of borderline.

Honestly upon first look it looked nice. Then after looking around, dirty! And I mean other people's hair on the floor, mold in the shower, no coffee or coffee maker as per the note they leave on the cupboard. When checking in, the front desk person didn't not speak English very well and could not answer simple questions. Then he proceeded to check me in and charge me and make me as a no show on my reservation. We also placed the do not disturb on the door and at 11pm had someone wake us knocking on our door. At check out no one was there and no coffee in the area to have on the way out.

EDIT: now the hotel is trying to charge me a cleaning fee for sheets ?! Are you kidding me with mold and other people's hair, no coffee and no where to sit or do anything other then on small table with one chair.... yes budget friendly??? Nah spend the extra few bucks.

Overall I don't like to complain but this was horrible. Only good thing was the nice sheets.
