I spent the night here a few days back. It's nice. Really nice. The room was great and I love that it's attached directly to the mall so I didn't have to go outside. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great Hotel, Location is perfect. You have everything you need around you as you are in the heart of Hamilton. Below the hotel is the shopping centre. Rooms were in a great condition. Wonderful, Hotel in a terrible area. It is obvious that you have several issues outside of the doors of your hotel. Drug addicts and homeless people everywhere. Bed was soft, you can leave bags at the reception after checkout to go around the city freely/ attend concert at the First Ontario Centre arena beside it.

This hotel exceeded expectations. It was a fantastic price with a good location downtown. Parking was inexpensive, secure and had in and out privileges. The rooms were clean, large and quiet with very comfortable beds. Complimentary breakfast and newspaper were a plus. Staff were wonderful.

This place is a really nice hotel right in the centre of the downtown. Large rooms, nice lobby, stunningly large pool and hot tub. Pool actually hits 8ft deep and is kept warm which is rare in hotel pools I find. Biggest complaint was the noise. The room and building are clean. Lots of space to spread out. I was able to get my Roku from home to work with the motels computer. Good place to stay overall. They have hot breakfast, but the I have had much better breakfast in other hotels. The sausages taste like they passed the best by date quite a whole ago.

Really enjoyed my stay here last weekend for a business / national board exam! Their facility is well kept, clean, the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable especially after flying in to Toronto so late. There's food and great coffee nearby which made my trip so much better!

Great hotel with a very nice view. Our suite was clean and had more than we needed (fridge, stove, microwave...). There was only two things that kept it from being a perfect stay: the eggs and sausage were cold at breakfast; house keeping was banging on our door to clean the room 2 hours before checkout (we were getting ready to checkout at that time and didn't care about cleaning at that time)

Staff was great. Very friendly. When they found out we have to leave at 6am, they offered to have breakfast bags ready for pick up. They had a muffin, orange and bagel with cream cheese. We really appreciated that.

Great place to stay for a few nights. The suites with kitchens are very convenient when you'd rather not be eating out for every meal. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

I stayed here for 19 nights and enjoyed my stay as the location was close to supermarkets(walmart), bus/train terminal and the gym with small restaurants on campus to get a quick snack was also convenient. I definitely would stay here again when visiting Hamilton as the price was right and the rooms were spacious. Only recommendation if the stay is longer than 4 nights offer light housekeeping.

Great location, didn't take advantage of the services but the bed was comfy and the shower was a powerful experience. Only complaint is housekeeping came by before checkout, it was quite early. Also there was an adequate amount of pillows.

Holiday Inn Express Hamilton Ontario is only 5 minutes walk from Gage Park home to many free greenhouses and kid-friendly activities. Hamilton is home to part of the Royal Botanical Gardens!

Having breakfast downstairs? Don't sit at a table directly in front of the window... unless you enjoy being frozen by the air conditioning!

Stayed at this hotel in November 2022 for two nights. We loved this place as it was extremely clean, very nice rooms (up to date and well appointed), and friendly staff! Pool area had a whirlpool hot tub as well as a sauna, very clean and well maintained without excess use of chlorine or other chemicals. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

Only stayed one night but everything was spectacular. I had the pool and hot tub all to myself (open until 11pm!) and the rooms were very nice. Bed was super comfy and the heating and cooling was easily operated. To top it off the breakfast was phenomenal for such a low price. I will be staying here the next time I’m in town for sure.

This little hotel we found was the best thing for what we needed when we were in town for a competition at the college. It was: Affordable, clean; staff was friendly and accommodating, beds were comfortable, the facilities within the room were stocked fresh and nothing was shorted...and the doors locked (yah this can be a thing 🙄) We will definitely be back to this space again when back in town.

We had a work event there, early morning and then do to an intense storm, we were there all evening. I am not sure what the gentleman's name was, but he was incredibly attentive and helpful. Not only did he facilitate our work event room, but later on worked the restaurant area and further continued his amazing customer service skills. We very much enjoyed our time here. Great staff!

Staff was fabulous, rooms clean, very nice lobby and bar. Had a birthday black Cherry old fashioned which was amazing! I wish the pool and jacuzzi were larger. About 20 kids in there and not a lot of room. Smaller than an average back yard pool. Overall though, a classy place to stay.

The perfect location for exploring nearby waterfalls and trails. Walking distance to restaurants, simple but delish breakfast, room was spacious, modern bathroom, netflix access is a great touch. As a first timer staying at this hotel I have nothing but good things to say. The rooms, the staff and the early, fresh breakfast were amazing. The room itself was just so clean and comfortable to stay in. The breakfast was fresh and the staff made sure everything stayed covered and full.

This place is wonderful. Not enough people know about it. The cabins are clean and very cozy. I love the atmosphere there. It's peaceful and we saw 6 or 7 deer right outside our door. I wish I had my phone to get pictures but I didn't have it with me. I would go there again for sure.

Had a good stay, easy check in and they even called us to notify that early check in was available. We slept comfortably. Breakfast the next morning was convenient to walk to the lobby area to eat, it is set up very cute with fruits, toasts, biscuits, coffee/teas, etc. A bit pricey for a nights stay for an inn that's located out of town but overall enjoyed it.

We had a lovely stay at The Barracks Inn - where we hosted our entire wedding party and close family for a weekend. With the whole place to ourselves, we were able to enjoy all of the rooms, common areas and beautiful views throughout the property. I came in from out of province and picked the days inn because I had stayed with this chain before. It was comfortable and clean and the service was really good. Everyone was super friendly. Rooms were a bit dated but I expected that when I booked as the building looked older. Over all, exactly what I was expecting and gave me a really comfortable stay.

We were in town to see the arkells concert. Decided to book a room rather than drive back to Guelph late at night. The room was clean and well maintained. Everything was adequate. There are not enough parking spaces for the number of guests staying at the hotel.

We are only staying one night but I must say, the service at the front desk is to be congratulated. We were luck and allowed to have an early check-in. This hotel is a little bit pricey but will be recommended. The Italian theme is quite interesting. We had a Whirlpool and fireplace in our room which made the stay a bit more relaxing. My Boss booked a room here for me for the evening. Very happy about my stay. The staff in the reception was very warm and friendly. As long as you're in a non-smoking room your in good hands. The room was clean and the staff kept everything running smoothly. I would recommend this for a quick stay. And the price is okay personally a little too much for me. But otherwise it's worth a try.
