Sunshine Valley RV Resort and Cabins
Hope, 14850 Alpine Bvld 🧭 Map
Recently spent 8 Nights in the cabins here over the Christmas Hollidays. This was our second year doing so and we had a great time. The place had everything we could want. Relaxing time away with the family. The store was open over the Hollidays as well as the pool which we made use of. They even brought a tree to our cabin to decorate for Xmas day.
We love sunshine Valley resort, however this time we were disappointed with the firepits as they are below ground and frozen. Would be nice if they would supply a pit for above ground during the winter.
Great place for a stopover in the winter nobody around early in the week. Nice people running the place Asay check-in just drove up and picked my own spot and spent the night fixing the van. Beautiful location just outside of hope on the highway to Princeton.
We stayed here late September. Not very many people around, but on our last night some people came in across from us and was blasting music past 10pm. We tried contacting someone multiple times and no answer. We even went to the office and there wasn’t any answer at the door. Kind of ridiculous considering how much we paid per night even if it’s not summer, you’d think we’d have a nice quiet campsite...

Read the other reviews after staying in Room 206, so no bias. We have found using third-party websites is inviting trouble, so we phoned. The clerk explained all policies. Only 2 people at a time in the lobby, which did not smell of smoke. At our arrival the desk clerk was very pleasant and answered all our questions, explaining the breakfast issues, office hours, etc. We made sure we always had...
Location was good, rooms were clean, lots of hot water, staff/service extremely friendly, had the pool & hot tub to ourselves..game of "volleyball" super fun! Vintage & loved it!
It may be the best place in Hope to stay, but it is not great. It’s loud, the kitchenettes (at least in my room) have been replaced by strange one sink rooms, and the breakfast is a bit of a joke. However, there is a pool and a hot tub.
We stayed in Hope for our last night of our trip in Octomber. The Hotel is excellent for the price. The staff are great too. Very friendly and efficient. They just make you feel at home. The rooms are very tidy and clean.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this small unassuming motel; location is great, and you get a fairly large room with all necessities while the pricing is cheaper than most other motels in the area (with worse locations). Owner is super nice and friendly, making sure I was settling in alright the few times I’ve bumped into him. The motel has plenty of parking while central in its location: 1 block away...
The owner was so kind and accommodating. Our room was clean and the bedding was fresh. The owner was doing much of the work himself, garbage, laundry etc. This place is older and does need some TLC, but if you need a comfy bed and great hospitality in Hope, stay here. The owner is working hard to make this place better. We also felt extremely safe walking around to the stores etc at night to grab things...
We lost our home and vehicle a week ago and this motel took us in. They even accepted our pup. The staff work hard to keep this slumber lodge going. We had everything we needed for a whole week. Clean room. It was great.
Manager/owner very friendly and accommodating. Even though we came in late, he opened the pool just for my daughter. Place was clean, beds were good. All we really needed!
We received 2 family rooms with 8 people on the top floor and they were very nice/big. Water pressure/temperature is good, and we couldn't hear anyone else. We booked very last minute and showed up around 9:30, they were very accommodating/friendly! I would definitely come back if I were in the area.
Nice little motel not too far over the American border. Nice diner across the street and picture-worthy mountains surrounding it.

Breakfast was fantastic. Views were spectacular. Close to the main town and restaurants 2 min drive. Loved the jug of water in the fridge. Hope was a lovely small place.
A lovely immigrant-run B&B. The Whistler Suite was cozy and the patio provided stunning views of the valley. We loved the bath tub and multiple showerheads - easily one of the best showers I've had! Yes, train horns can be an issue, but we didn't have any issues sleeping since we had our own white noise machine. Such a great value for the money - would recommend.
The best place to stay in Hope, with a stunning balcony view overlooking the entire town of Hope, also has the most delicious breakfast. Whistler's room has elegant interior design, complete facilities, house with ample parking space and ultra-high cost performance.
The views breathtaking. The breakfast bountiful. Pauline is a wonderful host. If you’re looking for a stay that provides serenity, a spotless environment , safety, and comfort, this is the place.
Truly a hidden gem. My partner and I had the most relaxing experience here away from the city. Beautiful views, exceptionally clean house and room. Every little detail went a long way. I think the floors were even heated?! Breakfast was great and always wonderful to chat with Pauline. We felt very comfortable & so cozy. We’d love to book again in the future! Thank you, Pauline for such a wonderful...
What a gift to find this B&B. Stunningly beautiful home built on the mountains overlooking Hope golf course. We stayed in the Eagle room, which was a perfect size with a lovely private balcony to overlook the view. Private bathroom. Complimentary tea and coffee. Pauline made a wonderful breakfast tailored to my gluten free requirements. We will definitely find a reason to come back and stay for longer...

I stayed in this B&B for one night with my wife and my daughter during the last labor day. This B&B is better than I expect, it is very comfortable, and the host provides lots of fruits, mike, break and eggs to make our life easy. What's more, there are plenty of books you can read, that is really awesome
We stayed here for one night while skiing at Manning Park. The place is very spacious and worked well for the four of us. It was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed perusing the large selection of books. In the morning we loved the mountain views and seeing horses in a neighboring property.
A superb B&B. Pristinely clean, comfortable bed, surprisingly spacious, quiet surroundings. Great advice on local places to see and eat. Amazing value. One of our favourite places to stay on our trip, even including much more expensive hotels.
Excellent BnB! Clean, quiet, just far enough away from town but not too far. Friendly and helpful host.

Great place to stay in the Hope area! very convenient location with everything close by. Christian is a great host, he made fresh breakfast for us, and spent time sharing with us about his place, and touring around tips. ( he created a local guide book in the room) Bed is very comfortable and clean and makes me feel at home - everything is clean and tidy! ** Also, the decoration is unique and beautiful
The property was well maintained, clean, warm and inviting. The room was so cozy and inviting. the instructions for self check in and all other information, tips, recommendations were very helpful and well organized. we had a chance to talk to Christian during breakfast and we expressed how impressed and how we felt like we were at home. we wish continued success to the business and the family...
We stayed 3 nights at the evergreen bed and breakfast.  One of the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at.  We were hosted by a very nice family and they served us a very tasty breakfast every morning.  The location was great, with all restaurants and shops close by.  We'll be back!
I am pretty sure this is the best place to stay in hope. It is deserving of 5 stats. I would give it more if possible. Very nice accommodations.
Immaculately clean. Every detail has been thought out, which makes for a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.
This was just a stop off for us to break up a long drive but we were pleasantly surprised. It is comfortable, tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. Our host was incredibly accommodating. Cozy motel just off the highway in Hope. Main street is a few blocks away. It's an older building so don't expect the Ritz.
Nice motel overall but the venue is quite old. It's right next to the highway so there can be a lot of noise overnight while trying to sleep. They provide a stove top and some pots and pans to cook with, and a fridge as well. Beds are comfy but the blankets are too thin for all year round weather.

It was a large size room with 2 queen beds, a full spacious bathroom (note; sink tap rotated completely eventually initiates...
Our vehicle broke down on Hwy 5 and we got towed into Hope late afternoon. We were stranded in Hope and could not get a taxi. We called the Heritage Inn and the owner very kindly drove to our location, picked us up with all our belongings and we stayed a comfortable night at the Inn. The owner was extremely acconodating and we are very thankful for the kindness we were shown.
Clean motel. Friendly, professional staff. Coffee, heat, aircon, and refrigerator in each room. Lots of blankets on the beds so you can tailor your sleep as you wish. Hot, high pressure shower good enough to blast dirt off an elephant. Beautiful setting beneath Mount Hope conveniently on Old Hope Princeton Way. I enjoyed my stay here and will return next year.
Well, there's only a handful of hotels and motels to choose from in Hope and you have to understand that you're there just passing through. Regardless, the check in person/owner was polite, room was clean, had a full size fridge, updated flat screen tv, free wifi, cooling unit, and bathroom had been updated. For this area, it's a strong star but in fairness to the 5 star scale integrity, I have to...

When I tried to book rooms, and they were not available, Simon took the time to call me directly and provide some very valuable advice that allowed us to adjust our trip. I was thankful and impressed that he went the extra mile for us!
Independently owned by someone caring and attentive. A lovely little traditional motel with spacious cool rooms. It was a very warm day and we didn't even need the A/C! We left a charging cord behind and Simon was very helpful in returning it to us.
I’ve been staying at the Colonial 900 Motel for a few years now, sometimes multiple times a year. I have always had a good experience when I’ve stayed. Simon is most courteous and thoughtful, the kind of service you expect from a family business. It’s location at the end of town allows for a quieter stay, even though it is only 1 minute drive to town. The rooms are both comfortable and clean, perfect
Good value for the money - the beds were comfortable and the location is very quiet. Rooms are not modern, but they're comfortable.
We had the most amazing customer service at The 900Motel. Jason at the front desk was absolutely amazing. We were stuck in Hope due to the storm, all the hotels were booked and the motel was so helpful. The whole parking lot was covered in snow and we had no where to park . Jason took a shovel and dug a parking spot for us, and even helped us get out in the morning. I am thankful for all their help...
Passed through Hope recently and stayed here. The room we had has been neglected for quite some time. It desperately needs updating because it felt like we went back in time and found ourselves in 1965. Front end staff though are very courteous and helpful. This motel is in a nice quiet location off the main Street. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are older and somewhat in need of updates, but the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable . I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Hotel is a little dated and needs some maintenance. The rooms were very clean and I found the bed to be one of the most comfortable I've slept in. The guy at the front desk was great, as were the cleaning staff. Convenient, central location with everything nearby. Rolly's restaurant is a great place to dine as well.
For what it is, it's great! The room has a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bed is king sized and comfortable. We had an easy check in. The bathroom is clean and has a bath shower. There is a great local restaurant next door, Rolly's. Breakfast all day. Wonderful food and plenty of local and travellers coming through. How about great pies baked daily? One for the road!
Might be an older motel but it was very clean. Right in the center of town, restaurant right behind it and an excellent place to eat. Bed was very comfy, shower had great water pressure. Will stay here again if I'm in the area.
Room was spotless, comfy beds, sheets felt fresh and clean. Service is friendly and fast. (Arrived at 1am) Breakfast spots are a close walk. 10/10 would crash here again.
I like to stay here on my way to or from the coast. Older but nice. Sam and his family have a cute little motel.

Good service and clean, but the beds were quite aged and the paths and stairs weren't shovelled or de-iced (I ended up falling).

Rooms were clean and stocked with the necessities. I would highly recommend this hotel in Hope BC. Thank you Rani, we will be back. Regards, Shannon :)
Room was clean but smelled musty and smaller than I expected for the $100 a night. Needs a major update. This place was clean, and quiet and thebeds were very comfortable. The rooms was big and the building is solid. We did not hear any neighbours at all.The family that runs it was friendly and efficient. The best part is that it's pet friendly. I will definitely recommend this motel.
Remodeled rooms are nice but construction is a bit shoddy, seemingly incomplete. Barn door is not very functional (does not block light or provide decent privacy). WiFi is slow. Exterior is not childsafe (eg, stairs to second floor has a poor design and chosen materials too flimsy). I expected a little more for the price, and it would be 3 stars if not for the location (walkable to many POIs).
Newly renovated rooms are modern and comfortable. Busy Saturday night yet we didn’t hear anything the whole time. Service was impeccable, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Never stayed at a 2 star motel but would honestly stay here again. Cons: Barn door for the bathroom does not provide any privacy. No fridge.
Super impressed with this small motel in the heart of Hope. We needed a reasonable place to rest our heads during our road trip. The rooms are decent. Not impeccably clean like their board says. Cobwebs in every corner, shower tile grouting is mostly black. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, flat-screen TV, and a new stove. Bed mattresses are getting a bit old and spongey. Overall, it's an OK motel to spend a night or two at. Close to the grocery store, McDonald's, and a lot of other useful businesses.
Sorry, I don't like leaving negative or mediocre reviews, but we found this room a little less clean than desired. Cobwebs on the ceiling, hair on the shower walls, and an odd yellow stain on the base of the toilet that I didn't care to investigate. Over-all the room was tidy, but looking closely some things could have been cleaner.
Nice and warm hotel. Stayed overnight from snow. Accessible except the snow easily blocked the driveway. Owner was helpful in providing information.
Perfect! The place looks like it is getting TLC. I would stay there again. The room was fine, the wifi reliable, reasonably priced, within walking distance of restaurants for breakfast and for supper (those serving wine)

Best pillows, comfortable bed, very quiet and clean, lovely decor, gorgeous furniture. Nice owner! I got a renovated room last night. Stayed in an older room one year ago with a dog and enjoyed it. I'll be returning.
Made a last minute stop in at this quaint little motel. The owner was friendly, and quickly checked me in. The room was very clean, and not bad for the price. The area was quiet, and I didn't hear anyone else in any other room. My only complaint is that the mattress in our room seemed to sag in the middle, and the pillows were pretty flat, but over all it was a good stay.
Could use more attention to details in the room... And some sweetener for the morning room coffee. No plug for the bathtub. And For the off season and quality of the room it was a bit pricey... $170 for two of us 2 and 1 extra king bed that we did not need. (Our Pet cat was accepted...) We had a good sleep.
Surprised at this place, followed the neon sign on main road and found the Skagit motel. We were tired so we wanted to rest. Rooms large and renovated. Pleasant stay
I was a bit worried when my boyfriend suggested we stay at a motel in hope. A lot of them are in pretty rough shape. This one is a bit off the main drag. Quiet, clean motel right in downtown Hope. It's right around the corner from Hope's beautiful park and restaurants. Our room was fine and the kitchen well equipped. The young man who checked us in was very helpful.
The exterior decor was very old, and we were a bit worried at first. But the room we were given had two queen beds, an upgrade for us, and the room was very large. It was very clean and frankly we were very pleasantly surprised given the very good rate we got. I would highly recommend this motel.

Was trapped in Hope during BC floods, the gentleman who runs the motel was very kind and understanding. Rooms were clean and warm.
Room was clean and had a nice little kitchenette. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well. The only issues I found was the shower drain was noisy at night and the front door had some space so it was not very sound proof. Overall my stay was comfortable
Over all was not too bad, the room was tidy and kept clean however there are some notes with this, when you walk into the room is smells very wired, not sure if it smells like but not very pleasant, walls are pretty thin so you can hear your roomate next door snoring and the last bit is that the parking lot is really not made for a truck. Its a bit of a tight squeeze. The guy who was running the place...
