Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
Jasper, 1 Old Lodge Road 🧭 Map
Our bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room had a nice ambience and was quiet. The staff were exceptional. We enjoyed our meals at Orso restaurant and wouldn’t hesitate to return. All in all a great stay.
My first time in the Rockies did not disappoint. So happy we decided to stay at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. The location was a bit out of town, but the shuttle was very convenient and we spent most of our time here anyways. The lobby bar offered great drinks and some fun local beers to try. The food was good, as was the service. Really happy we were able to get into the fine-dining restaurant....
My family ‘kidnapped’ me for a mega birthday /cancer survival adventure over family day weekend WITH 4 TODDLERS AGES 1 TO 5!!!! Thank you for a wonderful 1st experience - grandma got an upgraded room but all enjoyed the facilities. Room service, reception ,lounge music, both pools, activities, -appreciated by all. Thank you to the great staff who were very accommodating to our family fortress with...
In general, the Fairmont Jasper Lodge is a very nice place to be in, especially during the winter stay. The atmosphere was great. Employees were welcoming and professional. Dining hall, bar and lounge area are fantastic. We spent $400 for 1 night in our room. The room was mediocre at best. It was an attached suite (like a townhouse) and behind it you have condo like suites with balconies and patio...
The Jasper Park lodge is an amazing getaway for anyone looking to not only enjoy their days in national park but their entire stay at the hotel as well. From exceptional service in their restaurants and clean and welcoming rooms everywhere you go is pleasant and relaxing. I had the pleasure of attending the new Year's eve party and was blown away by the professional atmosphere, attentive staff, wonderful...
Happy to be back at Xmas in November! Always a great event and the added touch of each gift when you come back to your room is one of the best parts! Also and added gift for myself as a thank you for my continue support was such a great welcome surprise. Continue to provide high quality crafts as it’s one of my favorite classes, the material used is such great quality. Also love the wine tasting but...

Space and bed on the mezzanine floor, really comfy. Whilst showing signs of being a little dated it was spotlessly clean.
Nice hotel. A little "well used" and could use some upgrades. But clean, comfortable, and provided what we needed. Stayed in a queen loft room. Everything in the room felt a little narrow. (Doorways, bathroom), but was clean, comfortable and quiet and in a great location. With the kitchenette and fireplace, it's a nice little place for a couples getaway for a week and saving some food money along the...
Right in town, but not too busy with traffic. Lots of room for parking. Nice to have a restaurant right in the building! Pool, sauna and hot tub were great. We stayed in the King Suite, beautiful large balcony, 2 person jacuzzi and was overall very clean and quiet with very comfortable bed. Stayed at a few places in town this trip, would definitely recommend this one! Will be back for sure. Great value...
Great rooms here for our ski trip. The bedroom upstairs in the loft is prefect for the layout, and absolutely love the wood burning fireplace. Super cozy after a day outside. The staff is really friendly too. Would highly recommend this place. Well priced. Only complaint is that the parking lot can get pretty full if the hotel is booked up.
Had an absolute blast here! Amazing pool, walking distance to everything on main street, front desk staff are fantastic and the room was very clean. Got a loft room and it was so cool! Real fireplace, with a long burn log provided. Definitely coming back. Amazing experience and a nice place to wind down after a hike. Beds were so comfortable
I just really wished there was air conditioning. The room was really humid and leaving the windows open at night didn’t really feel safe as we were on the first floor. Also the phone in our room didn’t work so I had to walk all the way to the reception to ask a question. Other than that it wasn’t all too bad and they had a pool and hot tub that I wish I had went to. The restaurant people were also...

I liked how close to the mountains the hotel was. So close that when I parked there were elk right behind my vehicle. The rooms are well kept and big.
Stayed here over the Christmas break. There was a bit of a mixup on the reservation dates and despite the high occupancy rates in town due to the holidays the staff was able to find us a room at the originally intended dates. Huge thanks for that. Made the trip. As always the hotel was clean and well taken care of with lots of parking both above and below ground. Rooms are large and comfortable and...
Rooms are nice and well appointed with sink/bar/fridge area. bedding was clean and comfortable this is a older hotel with sliding single pane windows. We stayed there during the -37c week. The room was chilly so the staff brought 2 electric space heaters to bring up the temperature inside. Staff did a great job assisting us even offered another room. We liked our room alot so we started in it. The...
The hotel is in a good location and you could say is aimed at the upper end of the market. Rooms are very decent, two lots of elevators, not a huge amount of room for outdoor parking but there is undercover parking as well. The breakfast is not free, and judging by the quality of the food on offer (upper echelon) you can see why. The only beef I had with this was the exorbitant price (over $70 for...
Nice hotel with good facilities although the gym and swimming pool are quite small. Rooms are way more modern than the hotel looks and very spacious. Bed are comfortable but the shower is just high enough for me to stand up. The hotel is about a 15 minutes walk from the city center.
great place to stay when u r traveling by bike. underground parking is included. rooms are huge and the bathroom and bar are great. nice fire place in the room. very friendly and competent staff. beds are great and rooms are well furnished. plenty of space to put bags, suitcases and clothes. excellent stay

Spent 4 nights between Boxing Day and New Year's Eve in the newly built/renovated King suite in the Alpine Wing of the hotel. The room had everything as advertised and all things worked well. We wanted a kitchenette so we didn't have to eat all our meals dining out. Pots, pans, utensils, and dishes were in new condition. There was also an electric kettle and Keurig with coffee pods. We had minimal...
The location and proximity of the hotel is great! The breakfast quality was great too. The staff were pleasant in all departments... the issue is the rooms. The standard of clean is awful. Marks on walls beyond visible that it makes you question what happened in there. Bugs inside bed sheets, windows we couldn't see out of inside the courtyard. It was very confusing to how that is acceptable. The rooms...
Had a lovely couple nights stay here while visiting Jasper. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, bathrooms could use an update, but the water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, we all ordered off the menu and had a wonderful server named Amber who chatted with us about our plans and was very attentive to our needs. Manager came and chatted with my grandmother and have some restaurant...
Our stay here was delightful. Lovely location, close enough to downtown where everything is walkable but still a very quiet area. Staff was very pleasant and hospitable. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant or use the pool area, but it looked cute and cozy. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, great place to relax after a day of adventuring. Our room was in one of the new...
Very Nice Looking place to stay. Check in was quick. Room was nice. The shower could be better. The pool area is only open from 8am-9pm. Hot Tub was a nice temperature. The women’s showers in the pool area were not very clean. One was out of order and the other had a large hair ball around the drain.
Loved everything about this hotel! Every staff member was amazing. Every resteraunt was delicious. Service to the room was fast and came with a smile! They made many accommodations last minute for our anniversary ! The only complaint I have is that the king size bed wasn't very comfortable... but I will go back for sure!

Cute little bungalow - we stayed by the river side and there were plenty of benches and chairs to sit and enjoy a meal outdoors. The inside of the bungalow was cosy and clean and the bathroom looked newly renovated. The best part about it was that we saw plenty of wildlife there! Saw some white tailed deers near the entrance and whilst we had our dinner on the benches just outside our bungalow, an...
What a beautiful accommodation. We booked the riverside junior suite and really enjoyed it. The suite had everything you need in my opinion. It offers a stunning view. The staff was very friendly. The elk village restaurant right next to the bungalows was delicious and had a great variety of dishes (breakfast and dinner). Mount whistlers is right in front of the bungalows.
Loved our stay here. The bungalows are cozy and charming and easily slept 4 adults. The rooms are pristine. Very easy to drive or walk to the main town. Even saw a herd of elk resting on the ground when I walked the path to town. If (hopefully when) I make it back to Jasper I will absolutely stay here again.
My husband and I spent two nights here for our honeymoon and it was fabulous. We booked upon arriving, and didn't expect much, because of our lack of booking ahead of time and we were still impressed. It was quiet, had gorgeous views amd trials to walk and see the mountains. We booked another night at a different location and still gotta say, jasper bungalows was our favorite spot and we will be...

Quaint hotel with all basic amenities provided.. Very friendly front desk staff and also managed to get a park in the car park on our first night and one straight out the front of the property on the second night. Would definitely stay again 😁
My partner and I have stayed here the last 2 visits to Jasper and we love this little gem. In fact while checking out yesterday, we rebooked for next month in the same room we just had. The dual rooftop hot tubs, close proximity to everything you'd ever need, the friendly staff and nice clean rooms check all of our boxes when looking for accommodation. Parking is a bit limited onsite but there's ample...
When we arrived I was told we were being upgraded. That never happens to me. The room was in fact bigger. It was big with a seperate couch area. The bed was comfortable. The problem was the thermostat was broken and the room was 100 degrees. I'm flexible, no problem we would open the windows. We didn't get to sleep until 1:30 after the bar across the street closed down. I called the front desk at ...
Whistlers Inn is a reasonably priced hotel in the core of Jasper where you can usually get a room when others are booked up. It is in a great location, right across from the train station and in the midst of all the shops. You have to park a block away but once you're there, you will likely walk most places anyway. The rooms are clean and the staff are courteous. It is getting a bit old but still...
Far exceeded my expectations for an older hotel. Room was immaculate. Bed was nice and comfortable. Great customer service at front desk. Only hiccup was that parking was a bit tight for a pick up truck, but doable. Will definitely stay here again

Awesome place at the edge of main drag. Huge pool for hotel/motel and nice and warm. Highlight for kiddo. Room was great - two twins and 1 king in a bedroom with kitchenette. Kitchen stocked with everything you need (stove, kettle, microwave, toaster, etc). Would definitely come back to Jasper and book this place.
Very accommodating and helpful staff. Room we stayed was well equipped and had comfortable beds. Amenities were close by but on the edge of the town. Really enjoyed the hot tubs.
We stayed at Tonquin Inn for two nights in August 2022. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds and basic toiletries, the staff is friendly. It is walking distance from the center which is very convenient for meals. The AC is very noisy so we had to turn it of. This is a pricey stay, but from our research, it seems like the usual price for the season and area and, after having stayed...
I honestly loved this stay. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly and even upgraded us to a bigger room with a kitchen in it. The outdoor hot tubs are a cherry on top. Relaxing and clean. Will be staying here next time I am in jasper.
Clean rooms with friendly front desk staff. We ate great food at the restaurant adjacent. Really tasty. It was that good. I Would recommend staying here. To friends and family it was a lovely stay. We Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Clean bathrooms and change area the rooms were nice and cozy. Affordable rates!
Clean and comfortable. Not a huge room but had all we needed. Front desk staff was top notch. Made us feel super welcome. Only bummer was a bit of a cold draft in the door corner of the room

Close to downtown which makes night or day walks to eat and shopping an amazing experience. You won't be disappointed.
Always a great place to stay! Clean , cozy, comfortable and close to the main street. We love it here and have stayed multiple times.
Best place I've stayed ever, including hotels. Come back late at night and motion sensor lights come on. Very spacious area to rest. Very clean and well kept. The location is absolutely perfect. Would definitely recommend this place to stay during your visit.

I would totally stay here again. Happy with the price they gave me. Clean room. Quiet. I did notice it a couple times but the train noise is hardly worth mentioning. My room was about as close to the tracks as you could get. There were a few hairs on the sheet when I pulled back the covers but the sheets were clean. Bed was comfortable.
The bed was very comfy. The size of the room was spacious. Good hot shower. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Nathan at the bar was professional and courteous. He made the best Berry Sour Gin. The trains unfortunately were noisy. Though you are provided with ear plugs. There is an indoor pool, which was cold and a large spa, which was nice. The location was close to all restaurants...
Had to come on and give 5 stars. This hotel is excellent. Great rooms. The beds are super comfortable, especially important after a long outdoor day. The pool and hot tub are great. The location is within walking distance to everything downtown - which we thought was great since hotel parking is free. Just an overall wonderful experience. Thanks
Wonderful hotel. Beds & pillows were super comfortable. Our room had a fridge and small sink which was handy. Also if you’re an Albertan, you get a free breakfast when u call the hotel directly and say you want the breakfast package. And the breakfast was amazing!! It’s about a 5 min walk to downtown where all the restaurants & shopping are. We will stay here again next time we’re in Jasper.
We loved this place! Everything was easily accessible to eat, drink, book tours and get information from the front desk. The atmosphere was very relaxing and we enjoyed a drink in the lobby. We stayed here for two nights, the staff are very friendly! The hotel was amazing. Our room was huge, we selected the king bed and a jet tub in suite and it was perfect as we did some hiking, it worked amazing. Great small hotel type accommodations. Very nice staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location a way away from Jasper but reasonable about it to most park attractions. Internet is limited to one spot next to the office.
Super friendly and helpful staff, motel rooms were clean and well maintained. Of course, the mountain setting was fabulous. Beds were comfortable, and on a hot day, the A/C worked well. Easy walk to the Folding Mountain Brewery. The campsite looked great, too. We WILL be back!
If you want pull through trailer lots, full services and maintained grounds this place is it. This is not a concrete jungle or the forest. Parks for kids and large fire pits for adults. The stream running thru the campground is a welcoming sound. Minutes away from the National Park by car and a quick walk to the brewery and full restaurant.
Jasper Gates was a wonderful place to stay when visiting Hinton and Jasper! The rooms were perfect for what was needed. There was a lovely kitchenette in the room that allowed us to store some of our food and reheat it for the next day! There is a fun little Assay Station that you can find fossils or semi-precious stones. It was a fun little activity to do while there.
Great equipped but if you are searching for a nice and quiet space this is not the place to go to. It contains a lot of spots for RV's and tents though

Ellen and Jana were very friendly and accommodating, as they supposed to have made it unavailable for booking, but we could still book it via booking.com, and just nice they had an extra room available for 2 nights for our stay. Room was clean and with everything as described.
Good place to stay. Excellent location. This is a house with 3 rooms in the basement. Clean and nice. Private bathroom, TV, little fridge, wifi.
Fairly decent, nice and clean however , they don't service the room every day. As a suggestion please add some dark curtains or blinds.
Like many of the houses in Jasper, this is a house divided into small individual rooms, each with their own bathroom, kitchen, bed and TV. Nothing fancy, but very, very clean and the host and her daughter were very accommodating. For the price, it was definitely 4 stars.

Great staff, they informed us that we had a room over the bar so it would be loud till 3 am. That was fine because it was super quiet after that. Beds were so comfortable. We had appies at the pub, really yummie. What really stuck out for us, is how clean the place is. Crown molding and all the memorabilia was dusted and well looked after.
That a gem this place is!! From booking to checkout my experience was good. I found the price to very reasonable especially considering the time of my stay. The service in all areas - the restaurant, room service & housekeeping was exceptional..very pleasant & helpful staff!! There isn’t an elevator however I didn’t even have to ask, they offered to carry my luggage up & down for me…no small feat...
I have loved coming here so much I came back a second time for dinner. The staff are super friendly, genuinely good hard working people who help make you feel at home. Came out today as a contractor doing work in the facility. Even during this difficult time with the fires and being one of the few places in town with power, the staff were beyond accommodating in getting me a room for the night as a walk in, being available to take any questions I had in regards to the work I was performing and still able to maintain a friendly face even though they are burning out...
This is a great option if you are looking for a step up from a hostel. The hotel is located right in downtown. Our room was a private room without AC and without a bathroom ( we used a shared bathroom at the end of the hall). Also, there is no elevator. The people at the counter were very nice and overall our stay was pleasant.
Tiny rooms and only one power socket (which was occupied by the radio alarm clock) ... very much overpriced!

Okay this will sound weird but I liked the fact that it was a low scent environment. So many places have those awful scents that I have to put out on the balcony or in the back yard. The unit is in a quiet neighbourhood. The hosts are unobtrusive but responsive. It's tasteful and not cluttered. We skied every day so the fact that it's a basement apartment didn't bother us.
It is a beautiful suite with a lovely kitchen, seating area and separate bedroom area. It is quiet and clean.
