Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre
London, 591 Wellington Road South 🧭 Map
Very clean and well-kept hotel. The room was one of the better rooms I've stayed in. You can tell they take care of the place. Nice pool area too. Keep in mind that if you're staying near the pool, it will be loud since the pool is usually pretty busy.
Excellent place for a family trip. We found this hotel while.on vacation in Toronto and drove there for 2 days. The pool and waterslide were amazing. We got a room with a balcony and could sit out and watch our kids on the slide and swimming.
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Lamplighter last weekend and we're so glad we chose it for our venue, it was absolutely a beautiful spot and the service was impeccable. We're still receiving compliments from our guests. Jeanette, our coordinator was such a pleasure to work with, she was very professional and did an amazing job at helping us choose the right options for...
This is my second time staying here, and the swimming pool is absolutely fantastic. Our kids had a wonderful time, and we spent most of our stay enjoying the hotel rather than going out. However, unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room doesn't seem to be working well, and the room is quite hot. I noticed some staff members bringing fans to other rooms, so it seems this issue may not be isolated...
This hotel is absolutely amazing. With the amazing indoor swimming pool and slide, we literally felt like we were in a resort. The kids enjoyed the pool very much. It was clean and well maintained. There were towels we could use. The rooms were clean and room service breakfast was 6.99 for kids meals (with a drink) that were totally enough for adults. We could literally keep going on with the compliments...
Beautiful hotel that makes you feel like you’re in a resort! The pool was amazing with a waterfall and greenery around it. Rooms were clean and the customer service was outstanding. We ran out of milk for kids and the staff was so nice to bring us milk without any charge. The restaurant is also nice especially for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and the kids did not wanna leave!

Check in was incredibly smooth, and the room was flawless upon arrival. Staff were incredibly friendly, specifically Earl and Christine at the front desk. We even received complimentary wine to our room for a birthday celebration. The valet attendants were prompt and courteous. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back!
Overall a very nice looking hotel from the outside and in lobby. The restaurant was a 4 star. Good Location for visitors. First impression of room was positive… then I stepped in; bed sheet looked like someone recently slept on it, the furniture was not clean. The parking situation is not good; the only option you really have is valet ($30) or park on street (as I was told by staff); city does not...
I have been staying at the Delta for a few weeks now due to work travel, and I have absolutely loved it. The hotel staff is AMAZING and very kind! I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. The rooms are very clean, the fitness amenities are great and the Signature club is one of the best (the food is tasty and fresh). I rarely ever eat at hotel restaurants but the Cantana Lounge is...
Rooms were very reasonable and clean with lots of personal and working space. Convenient bar and restaurant with good food and drinks. I personally would like a little more room lighting and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The location is conveniently located to the office; I am sure construction and downtown cleanup will wrap up shortly. Check-in was quick and easy; at check out, the staff helped...
Check in was easy and parking underground was great. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were not great, We stayed 1 night so really didn't have the opportunity to use any of the services offered.
We had a family emergency that involved a trip to the hospital in London and we needed a hotel to convalesce. On short notice the front desk staff made a room available, provided us with parking so that we could move easily into the building and did everything they could to make us all comfortable. We’ve been to many hotels and this by far the best treatment we have ever received of them all. Many...

The decor is everything you've come to expect from the DoubleTree by Hilton chain, which is to say that it is nice and modern looking. Unfortunately the hotel has not been maintained to the standards one would expect. The toilet in my room hissed loudly and constantly. The shower head was covered in limescale. A decorative cover was simply absent in the bathroom, exposing a metal cavity under the counter...
Double tree is the most splendid hotel I have ever been to. If there was a way to define perfect it would be double tree. Jet the front desk associate was incredible with me. I will be always making sure to stay at Hilton as a VIP guest. I will recommend to everyone I know. Thank you Hilton.
We came here for a Company Christmas party. Checking in was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and the hotel was in great shape. The roads to the hotel were being service and were really rough at the time. But other than that - our stay was awesome. I would come back again.
Hotel was nice and very clean. Our room was spacious and the amenities were very well kept like the pool area. Staff were amazing as well! My car had a problem, they gave me late checkout for free until 2pm which allowed me enough time to pickup my car and get out of there. Also that warm complimentary cookie at check in was a sweet surprise. Would definitely come back.
The hotel is decent. The parking situation so far hasn't been terrible but the check-in person indicated it will be, at which point you're on your own (despite parking being included). The check-in person herself had poor customer service skills and was quite condescending. Not a pleasant first impression.
Went there for the Dickens Christmas luncheon buffet at Blakes. Food was pretty decent, not as big a selection as you would expect for $19.95 but the turkey was pretty good and the gravy was excellent. I suspect that the mashed potatoes were a mix of real and powdered or they used some weird margarine - it had a gluey texture. Dessert was great and they had an okay selection of cakes and cheesecakes...

Very nice and clean came with my husband and children for new years lots of space even had a mini livingroom definitely be back :)
Parking lot was extremely icy. One kid slipped while trying to get into the hotel. The hotel felt understaffed due to the full capacity which meant slower servo at the front desk and breakfast. The rooms were clean and nicely presented. The staff was pleasant and friendly despite being pulled in multiple directions.
Very nice rooms. Very clean. Great location. Quiet. Great breakfast. The only downside was parking. Half the lot was under water and when driving through one of the very deep puddles, I hit a huge unseen pothole. They need to fix this issue.
Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Missed some of the creature comforts. Ice machine was broken on our floor. No breakfast offered although they had a Starbucks on-site that was nice. Staff was excellent and accommodating. They also had an on-site bar that was nice to enjoy in the evening. Overall nice stay. Protocols were in place although not adhered to or enforced. I'd like that policed better
Clean, nice beds and staff are nice however in my room, the refrigerator smelled terrible as did the dishwasher. the television remote didn't work and there was no shower curtain in the washroom. That aside, the security at this place is incredible and, there is various types of food for sale at the front desk, which is awesome. There are also laundry facilities available to use as well. My stay was...
The hotel is comfortable but there are few thing to mention. The staff could be a bit more polite when checking us in. The pull out couch was dirty and had a big stain on it. Also, we were very dissapointed with the "delux" version of breakfast... There is no milk, yogurts, cheese, meats (in any form) fruits or veggies... I really do not know what "delux" in this case applies to. Please look into putting...

Clean rooms, spacious, good amenities. Slightly outdated in terms of room items(no usb plugs) but really inconsequential items to mention. Great place to stay overall! Good price.
The staff was quite nice. The room was spacious and nice. Fairly clean with little things here and there that could be improved, ex. Repaint, clean corners, etc. However, there was an issue with billing and it took forever to resolve. In the end it did get resolved but it was such a hassle. The gym is pretty bad though. There is practically no equipment, and some of the equipment there doesn't even...
Rooms are clean and have spacious interior. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient. There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves excellent meals too. Our stay had breakfast included in the package. Being vegetarian, the chef prepared us a wholesome delicious breakfast. I will always opt for this hotel for my visits to London
I just wanted to give my thanks to the Holiday Inn staff. The staff are amazing! I have this lady who helped me a lot ( I didn’t get her name unfortunately) but she would start in the mornings with blackish medium size hair! She’s super nice and so understanding. I’ve worked in hotels in the past myself and I honestly appreciate people like her who is very willing to help her guest. I hope this gets...
Stayed for a weekend to meet up with some relatives. Check in was quick and front desk staff courteous. The room was comfortable, but very dated. Stains on carpet and mattress, chipped/warn furniture and fixtures. Very noisey HVAC in room. The alarm clock was a model from the 80's. There wasn't a single USB charging port in the room. Being a weekend, there was a lot of youth there for a hockey...
The rating reflects the cost because this was an incredible deal. The room we had (the king suite) had the upstairs area which was great for the kids. The breakfast included was wonderful and most of all the staff was some of the best we've experienced. I had to come to London for a medical appointment and staying here made it great. I know there are a lot of negative reviews but it is a good place to rest at a very good price. Yes, the corridors do feel a bit run down but my room was very clean. I wish that there was free breakfast, even if just something small. And I don't like having those doors linking to the next door room, the noise goes through very easily. But my neighbour was quiet, so all was good. Front desk service...
During my search this morning the price quoted is $68 per night and this hotel is certainly worth that, but we paid $160 plus the $30 tourist tax and the 13% HST Tax. The entrance is under construction, this is a minor inconvenience, the Front Desk staff were quite efficient and friendly. The corridor to our room had an odd odour to it but not horrible. We got to our room and the first impression...
The price is right at this budget hotel. As you might suspect from the rate that you are paying, there are some issues with the property. However, the staff is friendly, and you will have a room with a bed where you can sleep. Our room could have used a deep clean, but in a basic sense, it was clean enough (clean sheets and towels, and a clean bathroom)
Days Inn London has been very accomodating to myself. Ive also received excellent customer service from staff. Any questions or issues are always attended to.
Not a very convinient hotel. We are 3 people in a room, they leave accessories only for 1 person. No coffee or continental breakfast in the lobby, like come on what age are you running your business. Staff at the desk is polite and friendly tho and rooms are pretty decent except for the A/C.
Nice room, clean, good breakfast. We booked last minute through one of the online services, and arrived after 9pm with no problems at all. Beds were comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

This was the 3rd or 4th time staying at this particular location over the last year. All have been great stays with very responsive staff and great service. I did notice the wifi has improved so much this stay as well as the lobby improvements. We love the pool and that is where we spend most of the visit. This place gets better every time we stay here. See you soon!
I stayed at Ramada by Wyndham London for one night and I had a mixed experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Highway 401 and has free parking, free WiFi, a gym and an indoor pool. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was quick. But The room wasn't spacious and comfortable, with a safe, a microwave, a refrigerator and a flat screen TV. The bed was cozy...
Very convenient to for highway on/off. Gas station nearby for quick top-off. Several chain restaurant options for a quick meal. The pool was a nice plus.
The staff were very good. There were a couple of issues, such as my over the phone booking getting lost and the booking site I used saying "breakfast in the room" misleading us into thinking that breakfast is included. The manager on duty, Will, was great though and went above and beyond when he gave us a discounted rate for the trouble and gave my whole family a free breakfast. Would happily stay...

Kind of weird experience. Super nice hotel and mostly kind staff. The only off experience holding me back from giving it 5 stars was when I called the front desk for help with connecting the wifi. The man who answered was abrasive and had a weirdly rude attitude. Other than that, I’d recommend.
Great rooms. Large and clean. Came to London for a Christmas party and we were pleased with the accommodations. When we returned we were met at reception by Chris.... asked for a pen and that started the attitude experience. I hate leaving bad reviews however Chris more than doubled down when we saw him afterwards. We are not impressed. Sry
Check in was great, everything explained nice and clearly. A bonus was the free underground parking! Once you leave reception, the fun starts! Elevator is good. Arrived on the 14th floor and the ceilings are very low, I am 6'3" and it felt claustrophobic. An odd, musty smell greets you as you exit the elevator. Arrived at the room and it was nice and large, 2 televisions as well plus the usual amenities...
I stayed here with my daughter as kind of a girls weekend getaway and we couldn't have picked a better hotel if we tried. Staff was unbelievably helpful and made us feel welcomed and cared for. I'm having some difficulty with my rating. I'd typically give a higher rating if the service is very good which was the case. The staff were really nice. I have stayed here numerous times. Friendly staff, however, not a lot of front desk staff. Clean hotel, comfortable beds and clean rooms
Nice room. Room is nicely furnished and is clean. They actually offer a decent breakfast with a good selection of meats. I had a great view of the city from my room. We had to cancel the room a day early and they were nice enough to help us out. Very understanding people. I am happy with my stay.
The hotel was great! Good location so we could walk to restaurants and Harris park for concerts. We arrived early and we were able to check in before the normal check in time. The staff working were very nice. We slept in and missed the breakfast and the front desk apologized for not serving breakfast past the normal time. Underground parking was a good feature to have in a busy city.
My room was fine, but the bathroom was designed by a sadist. The toilet paper, if you're sitting on the toilet, is jammed firmly into your left shoulder. The shower has weird angles that require circus level contortion to get clean all over. Front desk is great, very helpful. Which you will need because the key cards stop working if they are put near a cell phone. This was told to me by the guy at...
Even tho there was a couple hockey teams there. We didn't even notice. Great stay. 2nd time we stayed there. Would stay again
Pretty good hotel at a good location. Not enough parking though. Can be tough to get a spot when the hotel is busy. The room I was in smelled a bit musty but leaving the window open helped. This is a great hotel. I’ve been staying here for years. It’s always clean and the staff is always great.
This hotel provides a grocery shopping service. The king bed studio was spacious and had a kitchen. Good for a budgeted business trip. The cleanliness was an issue though. Fridge was covered in dust. The sinks and drawers were covered in soap scum and there appears to be a small amount of mold in the showers corners.
Very clean and comfortable suite. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast, but...you know how the standard hotel fare is....lol, still, maybe this one might be better? Good value for the money. Helpful, friendly staff. TV didn't have a guide channel so that was frustrating to have to go through all the channels every time to see what's on! Also the heater did not have instructions for use so we were quite chilly for a couple hours thinking it was on when it wasn't. I didnt go in, but the hottub looked like the water should have been changed.

You get what you pay for. Not the most savorie of areas but respectfully clean and their rates can't be beat. The staff was lovely and the clientele was colorful to say the least but everyone pretty much kept to themselves and minded their own business. Definitely not the worst of the low cost hotels/motels
Great hotel, very friendly staff, amazing room service and food, and very quiet and peaceful location. Would highly recommend and will be returning.
It was really clean there, the rooms are very big,and clean. I would go there again also they had all the amenities that you would need. Shopping close by. Great service there as well as wheelchair accessible!
This fine accommodation has all the needs of your average traveller covered. You can grab a excellent Brisket Sandwich and Chocolate Milk from the Beef Barron fine dining Restaurant and Dance Club right next door! How convenient. The front desk clerk had both eyes and most of his teeth. And the parking lot was full of delightful Young women who were helpful with directions and would accompany you right...
