I spent two days at this hotel located next to downtown. The hotel features one pub-style restaurant and a separate steakhouse. The main downtown area is just a minute's walk away, with many other restaurants and shops within walking distance. There is a small parking area for hotel guests, though availability can be limited; alternatively, paid street parking is an option. Upon check-in, the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly. Throughout my stay, all the staff were incredibly welcoming. The room was pleasant and clean, featuring an open roof in the washroom. Additionally, the room offered a view of the lake from the window.

I stayed 1 night..paper thin walls. Could hear EVERYTHING the guys in the room next door were saying. This went on until way after midnight. Despite good earplugs, it was like they were in my room. It is not their fault as they should be permitted to talk without having to be concerned about room next to theirs. I was worried about complaining that night in case of negative reciprocation being a single female. Added to this, 6.30 a.m , construction noise right across the street from large building project which never stopped! On departure, I did voice my complaints to Reception. Was told that I could have asked Reception for earplugs and that guys next to my room were decent guys and could have been told. OK, that may have been the case but, in reality, the real problem is no sound proofing in the walls. I appreciate that there are many old buildings in Nelson but cannot believe that every room in this Hotel is of the same poor sound proof condition. At the very least, I should have been forewarned AS WELL as told about the early start on construction site and at least been offered a discount for this inconvenience until building work has been completed. No discount was offered, despite my complaint which was conveyed in a friendly manner. Will definitely not be staying here again on my next visit to Nelson.

Ordered a tomato salad tonight. Usually the food is excellent and the service is great. Tonight it took 40 minutes to get my salad which was small plate of unripe tomatoes, a few pieces of mozzarella and barely any dressing or seasoning. Terrible. And for 20$??!! Ridiculous.

Long-time, top-dollar customer done with the Adventure - ordered a large pizza for pick-up: onions, ham, olives, mushrooms, pepperoni. Bill was $45.00. Took it home, not a drop of sauce on this son of a gun, and very skimpy toppings.
And the last pizza my wife bought here had a chunk of plastic baked into it.
Sorry, guys, but I can get a beer and a pizza (without plastic) at half the price across the street, and that’s where I’ll be from now on.

Rooms were clean, shower was nice and hot, pillow was a little thin but the bed was nice and soft. Lots of nice coffee spots and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Really my only complaint is the "free parking" is pretty limited. While I was checking in other people were also notified there was no spot for them, either.

The customer service was awesome. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for walking around Nelson. The coffee shop next door was delicious!

Just stayed 3 nights in a queen room and it was lovely. Comfy bed, great shower, cool decor. Only downside - the first night there were people in the "adjoining room" and we could hear every word and pee and giggle. Even at 1am. I would suggest if the hotel has rooms available, adjoining rooms are solely for people travelling together 😂.

Great hotel at an affordable price. The shared showers are super clean. The location is perfect. I only remove a star because the walls are thin and it can get loud. Having said this, I will for sure stay here again!

The staff is super friendly, from the time we check in up until the time we check out. The room is functional, and clean, and had an amazing view of the lake and the mountains (#111). The hotel is very well-located in Nelson's downtown, close to everything we needed.
