Prestige Prince George Lodge

I used to stay here frequently for work in 2021/2022 but I recently came back up for work and decided to go back to what I knew...

It's a damn shame how much it has declined.

The staff is pleasant and everyone was nice to engage with.

The location is good because it's far enough away from downtown you don't need to typically worry about your vehicle being vandalized.

The room was subpar, my bathroom had hair on the towels, floor and in the tub. The bed wasn't much better. There was a substantial amount of hair in the linens, garbage between the mattress and the headboard and a bottle of lubricant between the box spring and mattress that had leaked.

The gym is good and has lots of equipment. I can't speak for the pool area as I didn't try it.

Hopefully improvements will be made and it can be brought back to the standards it was once held to.

1. Outdated Facilities: Unfortunately, the overall ambiance of the hotel feels outdated. The decor lacks modern touches, and the furnishings appear worn-out. It would greatly benefit from a renovation to bring it up to contemporary standards.

2. Rusty Faucets: One of the major drawbacks during my stay was the condition of the bathroom fixtures, particularly the faucets. They were visibly rusty and in need of replacement. This not only affected the aesthetics but also raised concerns about cleanliness and hygiene.

3. Unpleasant Odor: Throughout my time at the hotel, there was a persistent unpleasant odor that permeated the corridors and even seeped into the rooms. It was quite off-putting and detracted from the overall experience. Addressing this issue should be a priority to ensure a comfortable stay for guests.

4. Limited Amenities: Compared to other hotels in the area, Four Points Prince George offers limited amenities. The lack of modern conveniences such as a fitness center or spa was disappointing. Enhancing the range of facilities available to guests would undoubtedly enhance the appeal of the hotel.

Overall, while the location of Four Points Prince George may be convenient, the outdated facilities, rusty faucets, and unpleasant odor detract significantly from the guest experience. Improvements in these areas are necessary to bring the hotel up to par with contemporary standards and provide guests with a more enjoyable stay.

The hotel definitely hasn't had much love with repairs or renovations in a long time.

First thing you notice when you walk into the hotel is a weird smell throughout the lobby.

The room wasn't cleaned very well. Used hand soap from the last person, wallpaper peeling, paint chipped/ scratched off the bathroom door, bathroom door doesn't close/ latch properly. Bathroom shower tap leaks. The towels are uncomfortable and hard.

The bathroom doesn't have an active fan (only a passive vent) so it doesn't air out for hours.

The TV channel list is cable - 24 channels and most of them aren't good.

The coffee maker wasn't cleaned out. There was a build-up of gunk in it.

Overall, don't recommend this hotel. Especially for the price.

I give it 2 stars because the staff is really nice.

I found a bug on he bed ( not sure what type), the room was very dirty, dated and it is not worth $200 per night. I asked for a refund but they mentioned that their pest control team had to make a report and send it to corporate.

I travel for work a lot since 2017 and this might be the worst hotel I’ve ever visited.

*** WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!! **** ***DISGUSTING!!!*** Sure the rooms are large and spacious, but they are NOT CLEANED to a high standard. The sheets didn't smell fresh, there was a HAND SMEAR on the headboard, a * BOOGER * smeared on the nightstand beside the bed, and it smelled like smoke. The pool area has visible mould on the ceiling and the shower looks very unsanitary 🤢🤢🤢. I will say that the staff were friendly so there's the only pro. The Continental Breakfast should be included in the room fee; $14 is overpriced for basic breakfast things that are self-serve! (cereal, make your own waffles, etc)

We had booked a room with a jacuzzi. When we got to our room two out of the three lights didn’t work and the mattress was old and uncomfortable, very sunken in. They offered to take $20 off our bill for the inconvenience. We chose to switch rooms to a slightly more comfortable bed (not by much). The pillows were old and lumpy. They didn’t have any more rooms available with a jacuzzi so we never got to use that. Restaurant was closed and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was a dozen muffins (two different kinds) and coffee. We’ve stayed at this location multiple times in years past however I think this will probably be the last unfortunately.
