We have been coming back to this facility every year since we first discovered it in 2017; It is an accommodation which is not only conveniently situated next door to the shore, but it is a well managed Mom and Pop Inn. The facilities are utilitarian but clean and neat. The linens and beds are great The daily rate they charge considering the locations is more than fair.

The room was amazing- having full cooking facilities means we could cook our own meals to taste and save money for other experiences. It was clean and comfortable, so spacious - such a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely come again!

Booked a last minute vacation & we chose Buena Vista because the first few pictures of the view, is what sold us on it. However, once we got to our room, we fell in love with all of it. Coming over from the mainland in comparison to what we have here, I think it’s a little over priced for what you get but it is the nicest place to stay in the area. My son and family from Los Angeles ( with 6 month old) were visiting and stayed for a week. Loved it. The pool and hot tub were a real highlight as was the great restaurant and location. The motel is a quiet spot that is not expensive. The staff is polite and efficient. The decor may be a tad old school but our room was clean and comfortable. It is only 2 minutes of walking from the beach. We found a reasonably dark parking lot only 30 seconds of driving from the motel to enjoy a bit of casual stargazing.

My husband and toddler and I stayed here 3 nights and were blown away. The hosts are so warm and welcoming, great company to be around. The food is fantastic. If you have a little one they will love the yard and adore the miniature houses/garden caricatures like ours did. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We arrived as a family of 4. Room had a full kitchen. Unobstructed view of the Ocean. Loft Queen size with a Murphy and sofa pull out bed. Staff was super friendly and remembered our name. We could stay there for a month. Short drive to shopping. Quick walk to a pub and restaurant across the road. Stayed there before as a couple on the ground floor. Patio right out to the beach.

I spent four nights at La Rosetta. I highly recommend this B&B. Comfy room with a fireplace, gracious hosts, fabulous breakfasts. You can walk to town, to restaurants and to the water in minutes. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. This utilitarian hotel was popular with the kids, especially the pool and the breakfast. The decor is tired. I really appreciated the wonderful staff. Would stay again.

This is now a shelter for people waiting to get into stable housing and/or treatment although you would never know by looking at it. The place is gorgeous the only thing that made me sad was to see all the seniors living there because they had nowhere to go. Shame on us for allowing this to happen. I spent a month here. Clean, quiet, and a decent rate. Sonny and the staff are easy to deal with and they are out every morning making sure all is good. After evaluating several motels around town we decided on the Skylite. We were pleasantly surprised to find a kitchenette in our room, which was very handy. It was clean and well maintained, and the management was nice. I really liked the assigned parking for the first floor rooms, so we could park right in front of our room.

Super cozy place, tent sites are just next to the river (walk in). There is a small beach within the campground great for swimming in the river. Washrooms are well maintained and there are dishwashing sinks available.

We rented 4 cottages for a family gathering. The cottages were well equipped and very comfortable. The river is beautiful and our young grandchildren enjoyed playing in the river even though it was a bit cold. It was wonderful sitting around a campfire each night which was easy to do with being able to purchase the wood on site.

We have rented the beachfront cottage in 2013 and 2014. I love the location. In the morning when you wake up and have your coffee, you have an unobstructed view of the ocean—a beautiful place to stay.

Our two-bedroom beach level townhouse was perfect for the four of us. Clean and very comfortable, and we really enjoyed going to the Black Goose Inn for dinner and drinks! Great service and there are tons of activities and trails nearby for all to enjoy. Would highly recommend this place!

We spent 3 nights at the Beach Acres in June 2022. Amazing view from the "ocean view townhouse". The kitchen has pots and pans, coffee maker, cutlery, kitchen towels, dish soap, toaster and cutting board. The townhouse is very comfortable for at least 6 people. A very enjoyable stay here, and the cabin style room was pleasantly large with lots of room for two families to share or one large family with a few kids! We love coming to Ocean Sands! We were here for 2 nights in June and came back for 3 nights in September. We enjoy staying in the 2 bedroom townhouses and this time had an upper floor unit which had a large balcony looking towards the water. The hosts D'arcy and his wife are wonderful and welcoming and even kept the pool open for the extra days that we were here for.

Beautiful resort on the fabulous Rathtrevor beach, where the ocean retreats about a kilometre at low tide. Very expensive in the summer, but an amazing experience for families, especially with children. Get a beach unit if you can as it’s about ten seconds from your patio to the sand. Otherwise it’s five minutes straight downhill on foot.

Awesome resort. Friendly staff and unbeatable location. Book early. You are paying for the location, not for room quality. The units are comfortable and clean but you are there to spend time outside… keep that in mind. We have stayed here every summer for 16 years. Love it!

Great venue. Our second visit. Was surprised to learn however the one bedroom suites were way smaller, with less kitchen space than the studio unit we had last year. Wi Fi very intermittent. Unit views are magical.

Beautiful and satisfying experience at Madrona Beach Resort! We stayed in 16-A unit which we found spotless and very private, on arrival.
