Bighorn Meadows Resort
Radium Hot Springs, 10 Bighorn Boulevard, PO Box 571 🧭 Map
Been staying at Bighorn Meadows resort for the past few years for a annual golf tourney. The rooms are excellent and well maintained. The staff and services are excellent. I highly recommend Bighorn to anyone wanting to spend time in Radium.
It's a great resort. It's a pity that we only stayed for one day. We only used the swimming pool and didn't use the golf. We look forward to staying for a few more days next time. Waking up early in the morning to see the deer by the window, the children were super happy
Extremely clean unit. Kitchenette had everything you need. Kids loved it. Nice and cool temp in the room on arrival. King bed mattress made for a wonderful sleep. All in all, was well worth it.
It was my first time visiting BC and it was beautiful. Bighorn Resort was perfect for our anniversary. The view was amazing from morning to evening. We woke up to a mama and 2 baby deer which was cute. The suite was so comfortable and we were able to relax and cook our own meals. Every morning we made our own coffee and sat out on the patio. The washroom was big and the shower was nice. The bedroom...
We stayed for a long-weekend at Bighorn Meadows Resort. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable. We really appreciated the champagne that was waiting in the fridge for us for our anniversary! The staff were wonderful - very accommodating and friendly..Will definitely be our go-to when we are staying in Radium and area.
Great place to stay for all seasons. If you are a cross country skier you can ski right at the resort at the golf course. The beautiful setting and bighorn sheep everywhere made for a nice experience. They also have turkeys running around. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The heated bathroom floor was very appreciated. Overall great experience and would come back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gables Motel. Tom the owner was a great host, he went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. Radium is a small village with a big heart. The motel is handy for the hot springs as well as discovering the local area. If I were to stay in Radium again, I would definitely stay at the Gables Motel and enjoy catching up with Tom.
A bit dated but very clean. Tom was great! Had a fridge to store the fruit I bought. Also he had Hot Springs discount tickets and towels to take (instead of having to rent them). I would stay again. Close to the Hot Springs and businesses in Radium.
I booked this motel because I’d heard amazing things in particular about the person running it. Those things were absolutely true! When it was already well into the night and a wildfire suddenly blocked our route into town, Tom canceled our reservation for us at no charge. In the midst of trying to figure out some other, reachable place to stay for the night, this was such a kind, very appreciated...
Tom and the Staff are great!! Gorgeous views of the mountains. These rooms a clean and quaint. The 80’s motel feel with people sitting outside enjoying a beverage. If you’re looking for luxury? Go stay at the Hilton in Calgary. I will stay here again, and many times after. I even bought a Gables Motel hat. It’s cool.
All I can say is Tom is an amazing guy. Beyond friendly, very accommodating. He made my stay absolutely amazing from the time that I had called to book the room to the time had come to check out. The rooms were so cute and the beds were so comfortable. We had driven a long way and didn't get in until almost 2am and he made sure that we could get into our room after hours. I would recommend this place...
The place is super clean and the people managing the property are really nice and accommodating. The facilities are clean and the beds are comfortable.

The ac was very loud. I told them it was not the compressor but the plastic housing. The girl at the desk could not understand, so I talked to the and he removed some pieces. I have room shove a towel in 2 places between the fins to stop the rattle. They refused to move us to another room.
Clean, friendly, and near the center of town. The pool was great, and the hot tub worked fine. Not the best hvac. Couldn't keep the temp. Had to use the controls on the ac unit because the thermostat on the wouldn't do it. Opened the window at night.
This is the second time I stayed in this hotel and I love the Prestige Radium Resort. Since we arrived the staff was very professional and friendly. We have a Golden Retriever so we stayed in the pet friendly room. Big room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and very clean. We used the stairs instead of the elevator because of our dog and the area is clean and well maintained. We ordered breakfast...
Great service! Stayed here with my wife and two kids. Good value, clean room. Good organic kootney coffee. Just need some fresh cream instead of the coffee Mate in the lobby. Although front reception offered there personal creamer
My family stayed here on our way to Edmonton for Christmas. Clean, comfortable, our kids loved the pool and hot tub. And the staff and management were very helpful and friendly. I recommend! :)
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room that is spacious. Sound proofing of hotel overall isn't great. But, fitness facility is very well equipped, and the pool / hot tub area is so clean. The main pool is a little on the cooler side but overall no complaints. Read from previous reviews the chlorine in hit tub was too much. Not an issue at all for us - must have improved. They've done a great job...

My wife and I stay here every time we come to Invermere/Radium. It's a great central location to most everything in the area, the rooms a nice and neat, and there's a free breakfast every morning. The manager, William is a wonderful gentleman with knowledge of the area, and he's super genial and hospitable. If you book early, you can get a really decent price on your room, and it's usually better...
Spent two nights at this Inn and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The manager was extremely accommodating, greeted every one downstairs in the morning with a smile where he took our breakfast orders in a very cozy lounge area. Location is beautiful, rooms were absolutely stunning with very comfortable beds. Would recommend this to any of my friends and family!
Very clean, comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended as the service was polite and friendly. Breakfast was very good. We had a really nice and pleasant time. We will for sure go back again. :)
“The special today is YOU.” reads the display board for the complimentary breakfast upon your arrival at the exquisite Inn on Canyon. When I was welcomed into my main floor impeccably clean room with a door opening onto a patio with two comfortable deck chairs and a small table, I was assured that I could unload my luggage through this entrance. During the entirety of my relaxing and therapeutic five...
Breakfast was great and when we booked 4 nights we got a free bottle of wine. Loved the room and location !
Super cute town and great hosts! They are so kind and the bed was amazingly comfortable. They helped us even though we got in late and they could've turned us away but make sure to reserve your spot and let them know when you are arriving (out of kindness). Breakfast was also served and the whole place is cute and cozy. Also, it's just down the road from a hot spring. So nice and would definitely return...

It's not too bad for the price. Very comparable to a super 8. Nothing too fancy, just sleep and go. Room is big, bed is big and comfy, and it's clean. All you can ask for at a 2 star motel
The sweet girl at the front desk tended to my every need. The room I stayed in was clean despite past reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. I think people are expecting a 5 star hotel in the middle of Paris, this is a great bargain for your money. I had no issue with anything. The young girl at the front desk helped me find good places to eat out and visit in town. She made me feel very welcome staying...
Stayed for one night. It's a passable property if you're on a budget and just want to stay one night. Room seemed to be quiet. Bedding and floor was clean Downsides- room was very dated looking, lavatory has chipped paint. Bed was of a low quality and not especially comfortable. Plenty of cords for lighting fixtures that seemed to be oddly assembled. TV was not particularly large and was mounted...
Clean and front desk is very friendly and accommodating . It's nice there is a free breakfast and also rooms that accomadate for pets . ❤
nice and affordable place to stay. Pool and hot tub was very nice. Friendly staff. Old but clean with new bed sheets and cover. I would stay here again.
There was a hot spring nearby and it was so good. The bed sheets were new and I liked them very much. The appearance looks old, but it seems to gradually change. Overall it was clean and neat.

What’s not to love? Spent a long weekend with kids and grand kids. We cross country skied on an endless selection of trails, and enjoyed some hiking in the snowshoe trails. The kids went fat biking and at the end of each day we enjoyed a fire by the rink, some skating, and a sauna! OMG! And it was all so amazing! Thank you Nipika! Truly a hidden gem!
The staff were super friendly and very accommodating! We came to Nordic ski and the staff were generous with their equipment, the trails were well kept and the staff were knowledgeable on the conditions of the trails and gave excellent advice on where to ski and where not to. Overall the best experience we’ve had! Thanks Nipika!
Have never stayed the night but visited many times. The owners are so nice and welcoming. We use the trails around the property. The MTB trails are lots of fun and follow the Kootenay River. Beautiful views! They also have an awesome frisbee golf course!
Amazing stay with friends!! Great place, a lot of activities. Good selection of fat books and good area for disc golf. Loved that everything was powered by solar panels, nice to be off grid. Friendly people, great staff. Loved the sauna! Highly recommend this place.
Just the nicest people, and the resort is perfect for a longer getaway, with plenty to do (biking, hiking, games, canoeing/rafting, swimming in the pond) or not do (comfy patios for reading, birdwatching, or just looking at the scenery). There's also a lot of history here, and the location is nicely away from the big crowds at Banff and Lake Louise, yet still within reasonable distance of Radium, Invermere...
We lucked out with amazing spring conditions after a snowy winter. A diverse network of trails. We took the XC track to the Natural Bridge... stunning!! Will recommend to our friends. We would ski more often if the cost was a little lower ($12 XC ski adult). We will be back though. Cheers

The best deal you can possibly get, with good price and quality. The location is ideal, the rooms super tidy and good, the price great. The office closes at 9 pm so you have to get your check in instructions before that. Still, if you cannot make it (like us, because we were coming from Hwy 93 where there's no mobile service) we left a message and they still monitored their answering machine, thanks...
The room with two beds, microwave, fridge, coffee, was very accommodating. My wife & I have stayed there before. The staff is very friendly. The house cleaning folks are to be commended. The room was white glove clean. The view from the upper room is very nice. When parking your vehicle, I would suggest backing in because people are allowed to park behind you , and it makes it difficult to back out...
It's refreshing staying at a place that doesn't have a large extended family living in the lobby/office! Definitely will stay here again! Clean and comfortable! Outdoor seating and a BBQ fireplace area!
Easily accessible location. The rooms are bare bones and contain just what you will need since most of your time will be spent out and about. The only inconvenience is that the office is only open from 4pm to 9pm, but we were able to talk to one of the cleaning staff to get us checked in early. There is a gym that we didn't use. the mattress was firm but we had a good night sleep. Grateful for the...
Fantastic service! Love the outdoor fireplace and rooms are lovely. We had a small lighting issue and the owners looked right after us. Very impressed! Very very clean! Freaking fast internet! BREAKFAST !!! We had room with free Breakfast from Screamers Cafe down road. Wow! Really good and excellent finish to our great 95$ stay! What a bargain!

This place has and is going through some renovations. But we had a great room. And the service is awesome. The owner is super nice will be back again Thank for helping us make memories with our granddaughter.
Several of us were on a bike trip, passing through then again on the way home. The rooms were clean, shower was good and the owner/manager was all about making sure we had a nice stay. You can sit outside, have a BBQ or go into town for a cold one. We will defiantly stay there again. Thanks for your hospitality
Recently renovated. Rooms are clean, quiet, fairly comfortable and very reasonably price. Wifi is good. The owner is very friendly! I would absolutely stay here again.
Had a great stay. Large room, super clean and very friendly staff. And your pet is welcome too. I can only recommend.
My husband & I just spent a few days at the Alpen. We found it to be a very clean and affordable place to stay. The staff was great and we would definitely stay there again. A bonus was when the Bighorn sheep came right into the courtyard.

This motel had beyond customer service, the office called my granny to see how we were doing on our journeys. Our room had three double beds, one in a bedroom, along with a kitchenette. Great retro motel right by the main drag in Radium. Walkable to everything. Spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchenette was perfect for our 2 night stop over.
Driving back and forth from bc to Alberta every 2 weeks, I have stayed at my share of pit stops along the way. This is a must stop if you’re going through the area. Iconic Canadian country views, good hospitality and service, and a hot spring only 5 mins away! Thanks Rob for the great stay, see you again soon.
Clean, affordable and very well managed motel in Radium! Just far back enough from road so there is no traffic noise. You get your one bedroom suite so better than any regular motel. All the TV channels for once! They have thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. This is my #1 spot in Radium while on the road. Friendly Management!
This place is fantastic. The location unbeatable, you are in walking distance to everything in town. The rooms were clean and well maintained! The owners are also so amazing, they are kind and very efficient. We forgot my daughters baby blanket and they shipped it back to us the next business day. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Nice older motel, but clean rooms and quiet night. Walkable distance to restaurants and attractions. No A/C but 2 fans provided. Kids really like the floating pineapple on the outdoors pool while we watched from the hot tub. Gas was cheaper then Golden as a bonus for us. I will consider going back.
Good & Great Spot.. kitchenette's rooms; no noise ; BBQ on site ; overall great spot to stay on a 2 day stay.
Try them they are great. Service is great rooms are great better than any other place in radium hot springs
This was a lower end hotel in the sense of how old it is. But great service and clean. The pool is in a beautiful location and has a great hot tub too. I would come again.
Loves our stay! 3 kids loved the pool! Staff were SO friendly and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation. Bit dated and some fixing here n there needed - but still comfy and homey!

Really cozy and quiet place. The owners are really awesome people too. They kindly held a cat-friendly room for me even though it took me 3 days to actually make it out here, and they were very kind to me even though I kept calling them endlessly with updates over those days. This is a great little hotel. You get what you pay for, which is an “old Radium” style motel with super friendly owners. It’s nice to have this option as a traveller. Definitely take the time to look through the photos, but I would recommend staying here. The rooms are outdated but they are extremely clean, comfortable, and in a great location. This is a neat little gem!
Such a clean, cozy little motel! A little noisy, a few meters from the highway, but just what we needed after a day of driving with our cats. The staff is so friendly and helpful, too.
I can only tell you about the hostel: Price performance fits 100%. We booked last minute and paid $50 for a lockable double bed. The hostel has been nicely renovated. It is very cozy and you have everything you need (fridge, coffee maker, microwave, etc.). The man at the reception was very friendly. Breakfast is not available.
Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and great beds. They ģave me free pears from their trees!!
Quaint little place. Internet sucked but we didn't go to radium to play on the web and the shower didn't have much pressure but worked. If that's all anyone has an issue with this place.... find a hilton. We will stay here again the next time we go to Radium. Owners are very personable and a pleasure to talk to. Beautiful hotel! Loved the room as soon as we walked in the door. Very cozy, nicely decorated. We arrived late in the evening and we're very grateful to have the owners save our room and leave the key out for us. The view off our balcony was amazing, facing the town and mountains. The bed was comfy and the amenities all worked. Awesome free breakfast in the cozy basement.
My wife and I stopped in on a unplanned visit and were very pleased with the room, price, view(dispite the wildfire smoke), the food and the hospitality. We then decided to stay an extra night. I am quite surprised over negative comments regarding the food and the owners. We were fortunate enough to have stayed at the Lodge previously and have never forgotten the hospitality from the owners and the amazing food. We were treated like family. The food was amazing. Our room was very clean, comfy bed and pillows, good wifi, has kitchenette with microwave, keurig and fridge. Overall satisfied with our stay here. Small town so it’s close to everything. Edit: i want to know the brand of the pillows! They are so comfy!!!
Stayed in a pet friendly room and very happy. Booking online is so easy(not sure why people complain about this) Clean comfy bed and bathrooms were nice and clean(most important things for us.) The woman at the front desk was lovely and very friendly. We come to Radium lots and have paid more for much worse. Will definitely stay here again.
Not a 5 star venue in the fancy sense, so don’t expect the Fairmont. But the rooms are functional and very clean, and for the price I was beyond happy. The front desk employee was super lovely and kind. Booking on their site (not a booking website or app) gets you a lower rate. Parking is easy and plenty. I had to call the emergency line around 1 am due to another guest setting off their car alarm...
This was our second time staying here while we skied for a few days at Panorama. Their rates are affordable and we especially like that they have rooms with kitchens so we can do our own cooking.

I picked this place because of the price. It was better than others in the area. Rooms need sound proofing, we heard someone snoring all night , and lots of talking woke us up early. The rooms had coffee, a fridge, and check in was quick. Parking was tight, saw deer and birds and big horn sheep. It snowed over night.
My husband and I stayed at Mountain Spring Motel over the weekend (Christmas Eve) as we went ice climbing in the area. I randomly selected this motel for the low price and pet friendliness. I was so surprised there was NO extra charge for our dogs which made the weekend so much more affordable...
We found ourselves needing to spend a night in Radium after a road closure caused us to detour from our original destination. I called and asked about vacancy and Steve was so pleasant and welcoming. I was impressed with how clean the rooms were! It was like having a small apartment. It has a great location, walking to everything in town but off the main road so there is no car noise. The guys that checked us in were so friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely stunning place! We visited in the winter, the cheapest R.V. park we have been to by far! Beautiful indoor hot pool and sauna! Super clean facilities and very accomodating staff. Exceptional! 100% recommend!
Nice experience overall. Was asked to vacate site at 1030am ,(out by 11am) showed our reservation on my phone to guy on golf cart. He came back stating we were fine to stay. You would think before asking someone to leave they would check our reservation. Anyhow overall nice place.
