Checking in was smooth. Guided to a door closer to our room to leave the car. Many people staying one night when driving from the Maritimes or on business.
Hotel was very nice, well located off the highway. We had a suite that sleeps six, which was spacious and the two bathrooms (one with toilet the other with shower, but both with sinks) made getting ready in the morning more convenient. Also, the suite on the ground floor came with a dedicated parking spot, which was nice. The only downside was that our room was close to the elevator, and other guests...
The restaurant was really good! It was a bit slow but the friendly waiter and great food made up for it! There is a pool and spa but I didn’t use it. I realized only after the fact that if you book directly with the hotel it’s a much better deal for room and dinner. Ask about their specials. I wish I knew because I booked on line with a third party.
Very beautiful hotel. The decor around the pool with multiple room balconies overlooking the pool was fantastic. I only caught a glimpse of the conference rooms but I could tell that everything was luxurious. I would highly recommend the hotel for any stay or for any conference. Absolutely loved it. Having said that, contrary to advices from travel magazines, I would not recommend leaving any...
We stayed here for one night and booked last minute as we were driving from Ontario and were not sure where we were going to stop for the night. The hotel was very clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There is a fire pit outside which was nice to sit out at for a bit. We had a room on the ground floor that had a parking spot in front of it so unpacking and packing the car was very easy. It...
I have stayed at this location 4 times now. The hotel is truly amazing. Rooms are large, modern and fully equipped with everything you need, Staff is very friendly and helpful and a delight to deal with, restaurant is second to none and the overall atmosphere was awesome. 5 stars for me.

Beautiful hotel, clean and cozy room, very big for one person, 2 queen beds, big modern shower, good and fresh breakfast, good service. Was good to have some real milk for room coffee. Maybe this will change. Thank you.
Nice clean spacious rooms. Cold breakfast was good with lots of options. Semi close to the airport. There are a couple of fast food places close by. Not much else is walkable. Front desk was very accommodating and friendly. Spoke English.
Modern hotel with great ambiance. Restaurant and bar attached. Room was nice with a good view of the St. Lawrence River. Cool light show on building at night and light changing fixtures around the property.
We stayed here on our way out East and again on our way back home. The hotel is easy to get to and new. The rooms are HUGE and the restaurant is fantastic for a hotel. Our kiddo loved swimming in the pool and we loved how quiet and affordable it was for our one-night stays. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others making the drive through Quebec!
We stayed here on a snowmobile trip. Top notch place with a really nice restaurant. The staff went out of their way a number of times to accommodate my wife and I. Nice view of the St. Lawrence.
Rooms are comfy and modern and there is a nice restaurant and bar. You don't have to leave the hotel once you check in. Beware the rooms that are at the far east side of the hotel as the walls are thin and can be noisy. We could hear someone coughing all night. It is a long walk too. Staff are all very nice and efficient.

Excellent dinner in the dining room. The chef is creative and makes a delicious dinner. We enjoyed the Calamari Carbonara, Osso Bucco and Cornish Hen.
Auberge de la Pointe was highly recommended to me by a friend, and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly situated for my itinerary but would be worth a detour even if it had not been. The room was very nice with a lovely deck from which to enjoy the spectacular view. I enjoyed a nice relaxed dinner in the restaurant and was able to be back on my deck to watch the sunset. The staff were very pleasant...
Gorgeous large hotel with the best patio EVER! This hotel is much larger than what it looks like from the street. Checking-in was super fast and the room was ready ahead of time! Parking can be a little tricky as they have an on-site restaurant which is popular with locals as much as it is with the hotel’s guests. There are, however, a couple of parking lots across the road should the ones by the...
During our return journey from Gaspé, we had the pleasure of staying at this place for one night, and it was truly enjoyable. The serene and distinctive balcony, offering an exceptional view, provided us with a much-needed relaxation and rejuvenation to continue our travels. I regret that I didn't have the opportunity to utilize the swimming pool and gym facilities this time, but I sincerely hope to...
I liked everything about this hotel. The location is excellent. The room (117) was large, comfortable, clear and the balcony led directly to a fantastic view. I really enjoyed having a drink at the bar that was a few maestros from my room. The pool and jacuzzi are excellent. I loved the stay.
With the exception of a bit of a wait to check in, this was a really great stay. Recently stayed for one night, and it was a great choice - I'll stay again. The room was immaculately clean, with good toiletries, a mini-fridge, and a coffee station with china mugs. Best thing about the room: really good lighting!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a drink and a bite to eat in the bar, which was also...

We liked that a sliding door opened to the outside instead of all doors opening to the interior hallway.
The staff at this hotel location provided excellent customer service both on the phone making, modifying our booking and when we checked in. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was ok.
We stayed here as the half way point of a 23 hr drive to the east coast and again on the way back with our dog. The room was clean and well kept, and the breakfast in the morning, while basic, was good. Nice shower with good pressure. And after a long trip, the bed was absolutely amazing... Maybe the best hotel bed I've slept on. We will definitely make this our stopover on future trips.
Clean, Quiet Comfort Inn. Food options near by. Jean is absolutely amazing at the front desk. We stayed there on our way out to Halifax, was so impressed with Jean so decided to rebook on the way back. This gentleman is friendly, accommodating and professional, a great ambassador for your brand.
Quick check-in. Room is OK. Lady in the cafeteria hides her food well. She doesn't offer scrambled eggs just put sausage and bacon on the plate. Pretty cheap move.
Nice, clean room. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Friendly, helpful staff. I appreciated having a smart TV in the room so I could watch Netflix.

I loved the shower. The room was small,do not need a large room.It was compact, perfect. The mattress was very comfy. Had a restful sleep, What I appreciated the most was how clean it was. Appreciated the restaurant so close. Plan to stop if I go to Montreal again.
Great stay, great price and great location! Nice rooms well eqipped and nice bathroom/bathrub! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
They were lovely and very nice to deal with despite the language barrier. The room was super clean and extremely comfortable. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Excellent value for the money. Small basic room but great bathroom. Shower was new and had excellent water pressure. Bed was comfy if a bit squeaky. Room was quite, we slept well and hit the road early the next morning rested and refreshed.
The rooms were extremely clean and modern and the beds, extremely comfy. Location was perfect for us, 6 minutes from downtown riviere du loup. Staff was friendly and helpful, however check in closes at 11pm, after 11pm you will not be able to check in and/or get your room key. Not pet friendly.
I guess it's a good place to stay one night if you're going either side of the road (to Gaspé or to Montréal as it's about halfway from the two cities). The room was good, but you feel kind of big in the very small bathroom and shower. It might just be me, but the AC was very loud (I don't mind it but I'm afraid it might bother others and neighbors) and my entrance door was very hard to shut tight...

It's very clean, and that really jumped out . Friendly staff ,the free breakfast is good. Even the free wifi works great . I had one drawback ,and that was a lumpy matras. That's why only 4 stars
Limited view of the St Lawrence but the room was beautiful. One bathroom for seven people was a bit of an issue but it is what it is. The room was clean (thanks Isabelle), and well decorated and had kitchen supplies galore! Enjoy your day my friends 😊🙏
The comfort was great the room was big and there was trailer parking for a utility trailer oh and it was on route with 185 to Sydney
Room was really clean (thank you Joanie), cleanest I've ever seen a hotel room. Customer service at the desk for check in/out were polite and professional, but not very friendly.
If you're paying $160 for a room it should have a microwave...the heater basically is on a cremation setting or just cold air. Room was tiny but clean. Staff were pretty good though.
We stayed in the small chalets and they were were nice and comfortable. A little dated but it was a nice enjoyable stay! There was a kitchen, full fridge and stove with plates and pots and pans there for you. We enjoyed our stay so we booked this place again to stay on our way home frol NS.

Wesley at the front desk is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and great at what he does. The pool was just what we needed after a long day - clean and warm! Thank you Quality Inn Staff!
Not the worst place I’ve stayed. Really great staff- friendly and helpful, they work hard. breakfast was ok. The staff works very hard. The eggs were somewhat dry, and I expect that at a Quality Inn but the kids had their waffles, and as always were good and filing, seating was ample with a couple of outside tables if desired, next to the playground. The room was clean. There was a playground with...
Good location, nice staff, amazing breakfast. The rooms are clean and they allow pets. The room we had you could hear anytime anyone used the toilet and it really interrupted my sleep.
Room was nice, staff was friendly. Seem to have an issue with cleaning staff, the room was clean but our ice bucket had moldy cucumbers in it, talking to another guest they had a similar issue. Breakfast ladies where awesome and helpful.
Nice hotel, located in the northern part of town. While it's not right in town, there are a bunch of restaurants close by (including a Tim Horton's right next door if you're the type that needs it to function). I thought the staff at the counter were great. There was plenty of free parking. The free breakfast was pretty standard buffet-style. The room wasn't huge, but it was plenty big for us, and...

Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Easy keypad checkin without the need to register at front desk. Two doors from an excellent restaurant.
This is a sparkling new hotel. Our room was modern, clean, and well appointed. I can’t recommend this hotel strongly enough.
A really great place to stay. We were just overnight but it was ideal. Very clean. The owner is super nice and very friendly. I would highly recommend this business.
Good location between uptown and downtown. Quiet at night. Close to grocery and restaurants. Room was clean and modern. Hot water was slow to come but lots of it once it reaced our room. Staff bilingual and very helpful. Room had a microwave and fridge.
Extremely small bathroom! I don't know how the manage to fit a full bathroom on a 4' X 4' space a whole 24 SQF of bathroom. The only plus of the such a small place is that you can wash your feet in the shower, brush your teeth in the sink and sit on the toilet at the same time 😂 I took my multitasking skills to the next level on this place. The most important part is that the bed was comfy and the...
The Auberge has a bit of a motel vibe because of its layout, but has a modern look and decor. Our room looked very pretty, the bed was comfy, the shower was nice, etc. The only negative thing was that the air conditioning was not doing a great job of cooling down the room. However, the price was fair and I would go again.

Spacious, clean and well located to provide a one night stay on our way home from East Coast. Facilities were updated and COVID precautions were evident.
Rooms were modern, very clean and smelt fresh. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet place to stay away from the highway. Service was very friendly.
The room was updated, clean and very nice bathroom. However, the room had weird smell, as if they didn't open windows for a while. The parking didn't feel safe it is too clear to street but nothing happened to our car.
Very modern and clean rooms the bed was very comfortable but pillows are too thin even with 2. I wouldn't give it a 4 stars motel though a 3 yes. In the room there was an unfinished part on the wall. They do have a blu-ray a microwave and a keurig coffee machine. The man at reception was a little weird.
Family- run business .. pride of ownership and friendly staff. They made us feel welcome and all were cheerful. Room was small, as was the bed, but it was clean. The mattress was in a protector, which was a welcome bonus. Best shower in a hotel in Canada yet .. highest showerhead I've ever seen in a hotel or motel. I'm not tall but most showerheads are only 5.5' high. When they say check in ends...
Was pleased to find that covid protocol is still enforced here. My room was extremely clean. It had all of the emenities that I needed to recharge after a long day of driving. My room was quiet. Was not disturbed by traffic nor neighbour noise. The view of the sunset over the river was breathtaking. Hope to stay at this location again on my way home and on future trips.

Clean, friendly, quiet. Nice location next to St-Lawrence river and less than 10 minutes away from Rivière du loup.
Amazing location and hospitality. They received us even though we were running late. The breakfast is so tasty too! Lovely couple, definitely recommended!
Beautiful 3 bedroom B&B about 10 minutes drive from Rivière du Loup. Friendly hosts speak both English and French. Excellent breakfast with options that included Belgian waffles and a traditional breakfast with eggs cooked to order, bacon, toast, beans and a slice of meat pie.
Beautiful home, great friendly hosts, and to top it off the breakfast was amazing! Will be staying here again if ever in the area.
I would like to recommend this amazing place to all travellers. You will fee the care in every small detail. You do not go to another place.

This place is a gem. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Especially when coming from Toronto. The lawn is very nice and sunsets are world best. Great place that I recommend to most people. Service is also friendly as an English speaker.. Great place!
This motel overall is very good, I know that the owner reads these reviews so I'd like to mention that in room #3 shower head should be maintained (not consistent flow) and the sink drain should be declogged (water drains not fast enough). If the owner reacts here I change my review from 4 to 5 stars I promise :) UPD: updated as promised
Stayed only one night during out trip from PEI to MTL, was a good experience. The room was clean, bathroom was also clean and the view from our room to the fleuve was amazing. I would recommend my family or friend to this motel.
Check in was simple and service was friendly. Communication was smooth for me as an English speaker. Room was fresh, clean and comparable to similarly priced motels nearby but shower water flow was a little bit worse than expected. The view is phenomenal from the balconies in the rooms.
We booked a chalet here as the location was a great rest stop on our road trip. It had a little kitchen (2 burner stove, sink, microwave, toaster, kettle and some utensils, pots/pans). They give you a pre packaged muffin/pastry when you check in. Very lovely! Check-in was a breeze, service was excellent. The room is quite big, immaculately clean, tile and laminate throughout. Beautiful view of the St-Laurent. Within walking distance of great food as well - the Snack Bar (chip wagon style food) and FuXing Chinese food. Highly recommended!
We happened upon this place while driving from Montreal to PEI. What a gem! It's situated away from the main drag with all the other hotels, and it's super quiet and peaceful. This hotel was great. The man at the desk is very nice, and bilingual. The room was decorated nicely, and was big. It was VERY clean. The fridge was ice cold. There’s even a rocking chair in the room. The property is very big, and well kept. We’ll definitely be staying here again!
I got a nice welcome and they really seem to put some personal touches in taking care of the place. The view from the room I got was nice and we could see the river. There is no AC but there was a fan in my room, which is very good (I don't like opening windows as I hear everything outside and I'm sound sensitive). The only inconvenience might be the very small bathroom and the tiny shower, but otherwise...
I had a lovely stay at Motel Loupi! The staff were so friendly, the rooms were quaint and cozy, my room had a beautiful view, and the price was reasonable! :D Altogether, a wonderful experience.

Had accident last night on the highway and needed a place at midnight. Answered the phone right away. Took my information and had a code for my room within a few minutes. Basic accommodations, but easy to access and clean. Tim Hortons right there and fuel station as well. I'd stay again if passing through and needed a spot.
Needed a last minute place to stay. Very friendly gentleman answered the phone and got us a room. The room is shockingly clean (not used to motels being nice)
Rooms are small, but very clean. A good place to roll into if you need a bed for the night. The proximity to a timmies, convenience store, and drug store are all major pluses too.
The price was right and everything was pretty clean, but the rooms are very tight and low ceilinged. Fine for a night if you have no options and they allow pets (for an extra charge). It's super convenient for travellers with a gas station, convenience store and Tim Hortons right in front.

Very quaint little Motel, one of the highlights of our trip, amazing views of the River from our room and in a great centralized location in RDL. Not too fancy but perfect for a night or two on the while travelling. Our room came with a kitchenette. Wifi was very good as well.
This hotel is on the old side and although it was renovated, it was likely only cosmetic. My room somehow only had warm water. The owner was really nice though and the price was adequate.

He really like the history of the place we really like that we were the only two there on a Thursday night would like to stay again sometime
The breakfast would have been better if stored in air tight containers. The cardboard box let the croissants go hard.
Best sleep, best breakfast and best shower in 2 week holiday! (This was my last nigh of 2 week holiday)
What a steal. I stayed in the Boss room which was so luxe for one person. The shower comfortably fits three. Restaurant next door was pretty okay, very convenient.
Really cute house to stay in. We were on the top floor with a huge bathroom. There was a nice AC in each bedroom and the bedsheet was very thick and warm. Breakfast was prepared. Very nice experience.
This was such a cute, charming place to stay. The beds and pillows were very comfy. WiFi was good and there was AC in the room. Amazing , really recomand it. Very clean and staff are very helpful. If you like cooking, their kitchen is just perfect and has everything
The hostel is located in a beautiful old villa, one of the many in Rivière du Loup, and is very well maintained. The staff is very helpful, and the place offers free breakfast too. They also have cycles for hire. Not a very big hostel though so book in advance to find a place.
Great hostel, as usual, people were super friendly. The old house made a nice environment and the terrace out back has a nice firepit. The old horse barn (where we stayed) was converted to rooms and it was lovely. Our rooms were spacious and clean and the showers were roomy too. Nice little breakfast before we left. I would stay again.
Friendly hosts, fridge and freezer space available. Room clean and no issues with shared bathrooms and showers. Towels available. Breakfast was hearty. Able to make a lunch sandwich to go. Coffee was full bodied and tasty. Will come again.
The staff is so friendly from the receptionist to the guy who prepares breakfast for us. The facilities are clean. I was able to put my bike in the shed. The location is within walking distance to the Main Street so its very convenient. I had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this place.
