Beautiful hotel with all the amenities anyone may need and friendly & concerned staff there to help you with any need. They also diligently try to speak English should you not be able to speak French. Great place very well located in the heart of the action.
A venue in the center of it all with very comfortable rooms and activities for the whole family, from water play to a spa and finished with a world class restaurant. Whether you're here for work, play, family, or long overdue getaway, this is a great place to be. The excellent staff while not entirely bilingual are dedicated to making the effort to ensure your needs are met. If you're going to order...
First impressions walking through the doors of this hotel: Clean, more beautiful on the inside than the outside and the hotel seemed much larger than it seemed from the outside as well. Staff were polite. First impression of the room: Very clean and cozy. A lot of the lights in the room were set to be very dim, although, it wasn't annoying, but gave a more relaxing feel to the room. The hotel offered...
we have used this hotel for a few years now during work trips. the service is always excellent, the rooms very clean and nice. and the food at the restaurant is great. highly recomend this hotel
Went to Baie sur mer for a massage with my husband, great service, very profesaionnal and so relaxing. We are already planning to come back, really nice experience!
Nice place. However not the most welcoming atmosphere. We were very disappointed that no complimentary breakfast was included with the accommodations and the hotel restaurant was pricey when considering a family of 2 adults and 4 children. A complimentary coffee/tea bar would have been a nice touch to greet guests who have traveled from far. That's a good sign of a welcoming team. Will not choose...

Pool was clean and had lifeguard. Rooms were spacious, plenty of parking, hotel looked clean, rooms had a fridge and microwave, close to many amenities like restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, location made it easy to access highway. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
It's ok. An average hotel, but a bit pricey for what they offer. The elevator was not working when we arrived, we were told to go up the stairs. It was ok for us as we are young, although we had a lot of luggages. No offer was made to help us transport them upstairs. I hope such an offer would have been made if we had been older. The rooms was clean and the temperature was comfortable.
Outstanding value, friendly staff and great facilities. Only issue was the TV remote, but then again aren't all TV remotes in hotels an issue...? ;)
It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel, rooms and overall place was very clean and neat, cozy and welcoming. We were pleased with the pool area, most of the time indoor pools are not nice and feel too closed in but this hotel did a great job of keeping the feel of the pool area as if it was on the exterior. We liked the tropical decoration and the wide windows let enough sunlight to pour inside. It...

Great location right downtown, and beds were good. The washroom was very outdated and the washroom door was damaged in one corner. The elevator also seemed a little off, not leveling with the floor properly. Because of this, and the lack of a pool, I am not sure if this hotel should be 3 star. The staff were very nice, and I would definitely stay here again. But I think a few renovations would be...
I was staying here during the International Puppetry Festival and have nothing but great things to say. Great location, spacious rooms greta for families, friendly staff and lots of restaurants right under the hotel or on the street in the front. There is a beautiful view from some rooms.
Nice hotel right in downtown. It's a bit older but the rooms are nice clean and functional. Reception is great. Had breakfast there which was extremely good and staff very helpful. Got upgraded to a Riverview room with full length windows which I was grateful for. ♥️ Free parking at rear. Recommended.
Clean and nice hotel. Rooms are a bit small but very well maintained. Nice staff. Right on the busiest street with all the good bars. 2 great restaraunts in the basement. Loved it.
Kind of an odd building to be an hotel. The rooms are surprisingly nice compared to the lobby and corridors. Very good location in the city centre.

Was a lovely stay. Clean and spacious room. Location a bit far but we had a car that helped us go to places. Most of all I liked the stuff that helped on anything I had asked. I want to specially thank Ruth, her kindness and smile made my day.
1/10 on hospitality. No cleaner per day hardly any towels. No place to sit and chat. Could not have a gathering room. Could not sit in the hallway. Could not sit in the entrance- not even quietly later on. Could not even have a later check out.
Good location big meeting rooms. I had use small meeting room and stayed overnight. Checked in late without any problem. Hotel was really comfortable close to Tim Hortons and employees are bilingual and welcomes you with smile.
The pool and sauna was excellent. The staff was so polite and accessible. The parking is always available and free.
The poll is new and clean, the room was clean and renovated. It's not very close to anything but if you're in Saguenay you have a car anyway :)
I stayed here for two nights. Overall is a 4/5, weak spot: being outdated. Location: 5/5, close to a mall and other stores. But the most important thing is the Boston Pizza which is part of the same building. So convenient. Room: 3/5, not really clean, stale/smoke smell… I arrived late and did not ask to be changed, but I should. Also, the shower looked not so clean. The curtains were dirty. Management...

I stayed in many Comfort Inn but this it’s the first time I am staying at this location. I loved my room, it was located on the ground floor, easy access to my car that is located not far from the door. The bed was extremely comfortable plus with a micro-wave, it’s a blessing to be in the hotel. Nevertheless, firstly, I notice that my bed sheet was a little crimped which means that someone slept there...
On our way back from Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve to Quebec City, Sequenay what's the logical place to stay overnight to maximize our time in Quebec City the next day. Hence, we picked this economical hotel. It met all of our expectations for one night stay for the purpose of a layover. For those of you who may have some difficulty with stairs, do you know that there is no elevator at...
Staff were nice, room was clean. The reason I gave a 5 star rating, their wifi is amazing. I was able to play Destiny 2 with zero lag. Very happy with my stay here.

Rooms where ok, the tv doesn't work.. they offer breakfast but you have to extra paid for it ... nice location and really quiet to sleep
Was okay for the money. Receptionist very friendly, made us Ontario folk feel welcome. Nothing to watch on tv here though.
Inn- style lodging, offers a basic room with fridge, bed was king size, medium firm, sheets were comfortable and high quality. The view of the sunset from the verandas is amazing. A fair price for a peaceful stay.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location with a lookout of the city. Plenty of parking and a nice swimming pool for the kids. We had a great stay and if we are in the area we will most definitely stay again!
Basic but clean rooms. Best views from rooms 201 to 209 (photo from 203). Odd numbers are on second floor. Avoid the restaurant.

The reception was really friendly , helpful and nice. The room was clean, well organized and have everything you needed. The late hours for the pool use were perfect to relax. The location is amazing whit the view to the river
Very nice motel with affordable price. Its rooms have river views. The motel has a swimming pool and a riverside parkett with bbq grill. The room was a little small, so is the washroom, but it's not a big deal for us since we only stayed there at night. It's very clean. They used contactless check in and check out which is very convenient. It's dog-friendly which is great!
A simple note right on the River. Was the start and finish point for a multi day cycle trip and they allowed us to park our car for 4 days while we went around the lake. Warm pool!
A very cute motel. Staff are very nice and helpful. It is right on the river and the views are lovely. The pool is clean and the day I was there, it was nice and warm The rooms are smaller, but they have been doing a lot of upgrades with what they have. The down side was the cable box was acting up so no TV. Everything I saw was nice and clean. Great flowers and gardens too.
Maybe the nicest motel I've stayed at. The view is incredible, the pool warm and the rooms are clean and well kept. We spent two lovely evenings bbqing and watching the sunset as the kids played in the pool.
Absolutely fantastic place...pet friendly, incredible view, great prices, awesome staff...wouldn't hesitate to stay again and highly recommend!

Great location. We’ve never stayed in a B&B before and this was such a great first. Beautiful building, rooms had exactly what I needed, bed was comfy and they were clean. Nice host, good price and would definitely stay here again.
What a discovery! I already loved Chicoutimi but this place make me fall in love even more. Friendly, caring and funny host. Beautiful and magical place to stay. Worth the miles and the price. We would return gladly. We recommend.
Great old building with lovely renovated rooms, which are very clean and very quiet. You have to take your shoes off at the front to save the beautiful wooden floors. The only little thing was the matress in our room which was a bit worn and should be changed.
The old building in a very quiet but central area was really impressive. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Nice rooms which don’t loose the old charme of the building but had everything you need(refrigerator, tv, USB ports). Calm and comfy stay. The mattress in our room was a little bit worn out and should be changed. No real problem for us during our two night stay.
The location and grounds were so beautiful! Gardens, lawns, flowers, lovely! We wish we could have spent more time in the yard, but there’s so much to do in Saguenay! Nathalie and Francois were amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We had the breakfast and it was all fresh food and delicious, a must! Francois will make you a delicious artisanal coffee. Very nice home . Well located - very clean - Hearty breakfast. Latte coffee. Soft bed and sheets. The hosts are lovely. A perfect card for a stay in Chicoutimi.
From the reception we are comfortable. There is an independent door for access to our room with, in common area, a kitchenette and a living room with the TV. We feel a bit at home and, as we were a little tired of restaurants, we were able to have dinner quietly and meet friendly visitors. Breakfast was very good. Great location, walking distance to downtown and waterfront. Plentiful parking. Rooms are really good for price.
Good location , Very courteous staff but old building and typical downtown issues As soon as you enter the building , we could smell smoke and alcohol as there is a pub on ground floor . If you are with family I would suggest some other hotel. This location does attract typical downtown kind of crowd with all the other stuff , which may not be family friendly. I would not suggest to leave anything...
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, but the walls are very thin and there are two bars on either side of the hotel which can be clearly heard late into the night. During the week it may be alright, but on the weekend, sleeping before midnight is a challenge.
The location is perfect! There'sa lot of restaurants around, so you don't need to worry about food. The rooms are really neat and the cleaning ladies do a great job.
Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Good location. However, if you book a room on the south end (over the pub) beware the late-night karaoke.

We received a really warm and felt welcome. Christine really makes delicious lunches. The place is close to everything. The location is ideal, the room is ideal, the hosts are really friendly. It was perfect ! We are going back there for sure!
We went there with a friend as part of our road trip in June 2017 and we were really welcomed like friends who came to sleep at home. In the morning, the breakfast was, according to my friend because I unfortunately could not taste it, really top. The room is also very comfortable. Was here for 1 night on a weekend. Not very busy, which I personally prefer. It is an old place with old pipes. The building talks. Room is equipped with TV/cable, microwave and a mini fridge. Maybe it's just me, but the room was a bit cold with no option to heat up the place, even manually on the floor heater. Would have also prefer thicker/warmer bed sheets. Maybe brighter lights would have been...
Room was clean the location and view excellent! The problem was that upon arrival we were told a different price: 50 CAD more expensive than the price i booked for in advance. I had the reservation on paper printed with the price all fees included but that was not enough. So we paid 50 extra dollars. And there is nobody at the Front Desk most of the time
It’s an historic building it’s nice sometimes to step back in time and have a look at local hotel it’s not a fancy hotel but it serves the purpose of being comfortable and keeping cool during the summer days. The old, historic flavor of the hotel has been well preserved, and this is well complemented by the nearby Petit Maison Blanche next door. Got everything described in the website. Basic ameneties, but was expected. Perfectly located. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Perfect for those on a budget.
Great view of parc and church which are central to memories of the torrential flooding of 1996. Our room was large and comfortable. Two queen beds in top floor corner room gave wide panorama below. Slow elevator gave us time to chuckle about the pace of life. Entry door at the top of steep front steps kept us alert. Be pleased by the unexpected and your stay will be memorable.

Super friendly service at the front desk. The room is super clean so as the bed sheets. I took off 1 star, because one hears all noises from the room. Our room is right next to Jaques Cartier, and it’s a super busy and noisy road; every car passing by you can hear it in the middle of the night, even when the neighbors talking you can hear it. Nice B&B in Saguenay. Kind welcome from the owner who every morning prepares an excellent breakfast whose flagship is the crepes. The rooms are decorated in theme, Africa, China and so on, they are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The environment is a bit redundant but it is a matter of personal taste.

Claudine and Mario, the owners, are very friendly and will make your stay pleasant in this former presbytery within walking distance of downtown Jonquière. I spent several months there for work and I would return without hesitation.
The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The room was super clean and comfortable. Well situated to get to all our destinations.
The host greeted us as soon as we arrived. There is a kitchen to help out, a large living room with television. The room was perfect. The private bathroom is luxurious. The breakfast was on point and hot. Everything is tastefully decorated.
We loved our stay at this hostel. Mario is truly an exceptional host who takes good care of his guests. The place is really very very clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. Bed was comfy enough, good heat and pressure in the shower. The sugar jar was full of salt, nearly used it in my coffee. Had a pretty great time at the bar downstairs, stimulating conversation with the bartender.
Prices are quite expensive compared to usual hostels in the Quebec province and do not include breakfast. I originally booked a room here because 'Google' gave it as a pet-friendly option...it most certainly is NOT. The wonderful Receptionist at the desk, who seems to be the only English speaking employee there, was very helpful in finding another motel for me that was pet friendly!
The rooms are pretty decent and its really convenient if you're visiting Jonquiere. The restaurant stays open till 9pm and serves good food. You get good value comsidering the price. Only problem might be the lack of English speaking personnel. If you don't know French you have to use google translate all the time. Come prepared.
