Nice place. However not the most welcoming atmosphere. We were very disappointed that no complimentary breakfast was included with the accommodations and the hotel restaurant was pricey when considering a family of 2 adults and 4 children. Pool was clean and had lifeguard. Rooms were spacious, plenty of parking, hotel looked clean, rooms had a fridge and microwave, close to many amenities like restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, location made it easy to access highway. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

It's ok. An average hotel, but a bit pricey for what they offer. The elevator was not working when we arrived, we were told to go up the stairs. It was ok for us as we are young, although we had a lot of luggages. No offer was made to help us transport them upstairs. I hope such an offer would have been made if we had been older. The rooms was clean and the temperature was comfortable.

Great location right downtown, and beds were good. The washroom was very outdated and the washroom door was damaged in one corner. The elevator also seemed a little off, not leveling with the floor properly. Because of this, and the lack of a pool, I am not sure if this hotel should be 3 star. I was staying here during the International Puppetry Festival and have nothing but great things to say. Great location, spacious rooms greta for families, friendly staff and lots of restaurants right under the hotel or on the street in the front. There is a beautiful view from some rooms.

Nice hotel right in downtown. It's a bit older but the rooms are nice clean and functional. Reception is great. Had breakfast there which was extremely good and staff very helpful. Got upgraded to a Riverview room with full length windows which I was grateful for. ♥️ Free parking at rear. Recommended.

1/10 on hospitality. No cleaner per day hardly any towels. No place to sit and chat. Could not have a gathering room. Could not sit in the hallway. Could not sit in the entrance- not even quietly later on. Could not even have a later check out.

Good location big meeting rooms. I had use small meeting room and stayed overnight. Checked in late without any problem. Hotel was really comfortable close to Tim Hortons and employees are bilingual and welcomes you with smile.

The pool and sauna was excellent. The staff was so polite and accessible. The parking is always available and free.

I stayed in many Comfort Inn but this it’s the first time I am staying at this location. I loved my room, it was located on the ground floor, easy access to my car that is located not far from the door. Inn- style lodging, offers a basic room with fridge, bed was king size, medium firm, sheets were comfortable and high quality. The view of the sunset from the verandas is amazing. A fair price for a peaceful stay.

Very nice motel with affordable price. Its rooms have river views. The motel has a swimming pool and a riverside parkett with bbq grill. The room was a little small, so is the washroom, but it's not a big deal for us since we only stayed there at night. It's very clean. They used contactless check in and check out which is very convenient. It's dog-friendly which is great!

A simple note right on the River. Was the start and finish point for a multi day cycle trip and they allowed us to park our car for 4 days while we went around the lake. Warm pool!

A very cute motel. Staff are very nice and helpful. It is right on the river and the views are lovely. The pool is clean and the day I was there, it was nice and warm The rooms are smaller, but they have been doing a lot of upgrades with what they have. The down side was the cable box was acting up so no TV. Everything I saw was nice and clean. Great flowers and gardens too.

Maybe the nicest motel I've stayed at. The view is incredible, the pool warm and the rooms are clean and well kept. We spent two lovely evenings bbqing and watching the sunset as the kids played in the pool.

Great old building with lovely renovated rooms, which are very clean and very quiet. You have to take your shoes off at the front to save the beautiful wooden floors. The only little thing was the matress in our room which was a bit worn and should be changed.

The old building in a very quiet but central area was really impressive. The owner was very friendly and helpful. From the reception we are comfortable. There is an independent door for access to our room with, in common area, a kitchenette and a living room with the TV. We feel a bit at home and, as we were a little tired of restaurants, we were able to have dinner quietly and meet friendly visitors. Breakfast was very good. If you are with family I would suggest some other hotel. This location does attract typical downtown kind of crowd with all the other stuff , which may not be family friendly. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, but the walls are very thin and there are two bars on either side of the hotel which can be clearly heard late into the night. During the week it may be alright, but on the weekend, sleeping before midnight is a challenge.

The location is perfect! There'sa lot of restaurants around, so you don't need to worry about food. The rooms are really neat and the cleaning ladies do a great job.

We went there with a friend as part of our road trip in June 2017 and we were really welcomed like friends who came to sleep at home. We were really well received. The place is clean and very well appointed. The lunch was fabulous and what about the view...so beautiful!!! I recommend the place without any embarrassment!!! 😉

Was here for 1 night on a weekend. Not very busy, which I personally prefer. It is an old place with old pipes. The building talks. Room is equipped with TV/cable, microwave and a mini fridge. Maybe it's just me, but the room was a bit cold with no option to heat up the place, even manually on the floor heater. Would have also prefer thicker/warmer bed sheets. Room was clean the location and view excellent! The problem was that upon arrival we were told a different price: 50 CAD more expensive than the price i booked for in advance. I had the reservation on paper printed with the price all fees included but that was not enough. So we paid 50 extra dollars. And there is nobody at the Front Desk most of the time

Great view of parc and church which are central to memories of the torrential flooding of 1996. Our room was large and comfortable. Two queen beds in top floor corner room gave wide panorama below. Slow elevator gave us time to chuckle about the pace of life. Entry door at the top of steep front steps kept us alert. Be pleased by the unexpected and your stay will be memorable.

We stayed one night, it was a great place, the rooms were fully equipped and very clean. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. (We stayed mid week and didn't experience any noise at all - and they supply earplugs in all the rooms anyway). Thanks guys and see you next time!

Super friendly service at the front desk. The room is super clean so as the bed sheets. I took off 1 star, because one hears all noises from the room. Our room is right next to Jaques Cartier, and it’s a super busy and noisy road; every car passing by you can hear it in the middle of the night, even when the neighbors talking you can hear it. Nice B&B in Saguenay. Kind welcome from the owner who every morning prepares an excellent breakfast whose flagship is the crepes. The rooms are decorated in theme, Africa, China and so on, they are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The environment is a bit redundant but it is a matter of personal taste.

Beautiful cottage with a beautiful character! We were very well received by Normand who is friendly and helpful. We slept really well, the cottage is air-conditioned for my greatest happiness! Delicious breakfast included! I highly recommend !

Claudine and Mario, the owners, are very friendly and will make your stay pleasant in this former presbytery within walking distance of downtown Jonquière. I spent several months there for work and I would return without hesitation.

The owner Mylene was very humbling and accommodating. We had to cut a night short. We didn't have any problems there. The kitchen was great and the dorm was nice. We'll go back again.

Bed was comfy enough, good heat and pressure in the shower. The sugar jar was full of salt, nearly used it in my coffee. Had a pretty great time at the bar downstairs, stimulating conversation with the bartender.

Prices are quite expensive compared to usual hostels in the Quebec province and do not include breakfast. The house is very nice and very old and hence is not convenient to remain quiet while walking in the corridors, nor go the bathrooms/toilets which are in the basement level while rooms are upstairs. I originally booked a room here because 'Google' gave it as a pet-friendly option...it most certainly is NOT. The wonderful Receptionist at the desk, who seems to be the only English speaking employee there, was very helpful in finding another motel for me that was pet friendly!

The rooms are pretty decent and its really convenient if you're visiting Jonquiere. The restaurant stays open till 9pm and serves good food. You get good value comsidering the price. Only problem might be the lack of English speaking personnel. If you don't know French you have to use google translate all the time. Come prepared.
