The location was great! Walking distance to many museums, food options, and a great tour of the locks. The people and facility are top notch. Highly recommended.

Fine experience rooms as many others have said need some attention to detail to make the dated furniture and decore look less shabby.

Will be a stellar place once they start a renovation process (seems long over due I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a bed skirt in a room but they have them).

Stayed with a coupon got a shabby room... bathroom door had a hanger rammed into a hole in lieu of a hook, bathroom outlet was extremely grubby, carpet trim broken, wall paper peeling off significantly and the view out the window is a bit lack luster being a roof.

Service was good but I did see a late-night traveler being rejected a hot meal as the kitchen had already been cleaned but it was about 20 mins before close... I felt bad for him as there probably wasn't any other options for him to choose. He wanted a hot meal and they tried to talk him into a salad. If you're open your open no? Clean the kitchen after close.

I had the Sunday brunch and it is always really good. Bed super comfortable Rooms were clean

Don't expect a wake up call if you need one. I asked for 2 wake up calls at 4:15am and 4:30am. Never got a call at all.

2 weddings on new years eve, was a bridge too far. Renovations on the hotel caused numerous rooms to be unserviceable, and caused a downgrade on rooms, without decreased price. Max capacity caused the restaurant to close hours early for breakfast. Better than waiting over an hour as the day b4. Food was great, just long waits. Great location, front desk as helpful as they can be, cleaning staff was stellar!!
