Wendy at the counter was delightful and very helpful with explaining everything in the area. Our room #20 was very large, furniture was updated and very clean. We had no problems with our stay and would stay again. The room amenities were adequate. There was a coffee maker kettle mini fridge and microwave.

Sorry for the late review. We were in town back in June for a funeral. This motel is basic, clean and fairly priced. The room we had was updated with laminate flooring. The beds were comfy and linens/comforters were clean and comfy. Would have liked a bit more water pressure in the shower, but you can't have it all. Front desk was friendly. It's a good place to stay.

We booked a night online but when we got there bthr price was more because we had 4 people even though online we indicated that there would be two adults and two children.

I have been coming to the Cozy Court on an annual basis since 2002. The rooms that I have been in are clean. I have been on the upper floor every time. TV and Wi-Fi is good. I have a mini Fridge coffeemaker and microwave in the room. The front clerk was very friendly. There is lots of parking and many restaurants within walking distance. Cozy Court is not a Hilton but you are not paying the same amount...

Our B&B experience was very positive! A quiet, clean and comfortable room with privacy. Heidi was an hospitable host who served a warm and friendly breakfast while we enjoyed the spectacular ocean view scenery. We would stay there again and recommend the place to family and friends.

We spent 2 of the most delightful days with our host, Heidi. The breakfasts were beyond delicious while also being very nutritious. We were made to feel right at home and would not hesitate to return as well as recommend this beautiful oasis by the sea.

Heidi is such a gracious host. The room was clean and quiet and she makes the most delicious breakfast. The view from the room is amazing and can't be beat. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Stayed here with a couple of friends. We were there for mtn biking. Heidi was really great, very friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. Great view and location. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast is $10 but well worth it. I payed for 2 nights, but could only stay 1. The hosts offered to refund the difference, but I just asked to give me a credit since I plan on coming back one day.

Solid 3 because of the view… otherwise the place is nothing special and a bit awkward for the layout. Nothing spectacular about the hosts and this is NOT and a traditional B&B. There’s no breakfast. It’s just average and again the B&B is somewhat of scammy for the lack of breakfast.

We spent one night in this beautiful homestay. It was one of the best stay i have experienced with my lovely family. It doesn't look fancy or luxurious but the view is marvelous. I am so loved and so blessed.

Nice place with a beautiful view. A few things you have to maintain, you have to come back here within 10 pm and no noise after 10 pm and breakfast is not included. But, one thing that is granted is to get a beautiful view. This picture is from the window in which room we stay.

The B&B/home is situated at the very top of a mountain with an unobstructed view of the sea, mountains, ferries, birds, walkers at Pipers Lagoon and Neck Point parks, the cascading streets and homes in the neighborhood, and Sunshine Coast, Vancouver skyline, and Mount Baker in Washington across the water. The roomy, beautifully decorated room and ensuite plus the spectacular view makes this B&B a treat fit for royalty! I found the continental breakfast more than adequate and appreciated that the lovely proprietress catered to my need for gluten free.

Stayed at the Stephenson for my anniversary and was incredibly happy with how amazing my time there was. We arrived late to our check in time as my boyfriend had to work, however, Cher was incredibly welcoming and we immediately felt at home. Cher is a wonderful, gracious host with an amazing B and B. The Eagle's Nest room has a luxurious set up with a large, cozy bed and a deep soaker tub in the bathroom. If you're a bath lover, you will be in heaven! The view from the room's balcony is breath taking. This is a wonderful weekend getaway!

Nice quiet location. The host is so lovely my girlfriend Susanne and i had such a good time. The view from the oceanview suite is absolutly stunning. We just sat a couple of hours in the room to watch the lake. Highly recommend this B&B.

The location is easy to find and the owner was very friendly. Our only problem was the heat was turned off on our arrival and it took a long time to warm up our room.

Relative staying here, good food and warm private room. Owners not present during agreed check in time but otherwise no trouble at all. Three dogs upstairs

No pool, vending machines inoperative jacuzzis in the room don't work. Restaurant closed on good Friday. Room was nice, TV in a weird spot. Quiet and friendly front desk. Their advertisement needs serious update.

This is a beautiful historic hotel with fine dining and an incredible atmosphere. The staff is excellent and friendly. I will be back as often as I can. I will recommend this hotel to everyone in the US looking for a great Vacation experience.

Beware: this place is totally HAUNTED but an incredible place to stay. The whiskey bar is super chill and the leather coach in there is sooo comfortable. I felt really connected to spirits here especially my Dad Warren Bradbury and ex who committed suicide. Great place to stay and I look forward to coming back for the scotch festival 😀

We switched from downtown hotels to The Grand recently, and wonder why we didn't do it sooner! Wonderful staff, awesome dog-friendly atmosphere, and great location with tons of parking. Also, I left my cosmetics bag behind on our most recent trip and when I called in a panic, they had retrieved it and packaged it for me to pick up. The reviews about the Grand are true; this is a hidden gem that you never considered or forget to consider. I cannot comment on the food since we only visited the lounge but the lounge and dinning area have character. The lounge is very comfortable and has an excellent selection of beverages. It is now at the top of my list of must try dining. I hope my future dining experience will be equally rewarding...

the lobby is absolutely beautiful ..spotlessly clean and everything was shiny and dust free. I would of liked to have been able to spend more time there

The host was super friendly, the room was a little dated, but so clean! It was a great location and quiet in the evening. Hands-down worth the money paid. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This motel is a bit outdated, but clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room is at the back, wich is more quit than the front. The ferry to Departure Bay is a few minutes away, wich is very nice. You can park your car in front of your room. I would stay here again next time!

Considering it’s a small motel, the rooms are clean and great for a temporary stay, at least from my one week experience. The owners were very kind and accommodating. The place is old but at least it’s clean. I would go back there again for sure if I needed a place to stay in the area.

For a motel in Nanaimo bc, I'll giver 5 star, it's a motel what u expect, it's clean, owner is friendly, we checked in at 2.30 am due to late ferry and he welcomed us, definitely one of the cleaner motels on the island.....no complaints

I stayed here for a week while waiting for my rental suite to become available. It's older but suited me perfectly. The staff were super friendly too. It's hard to find anything negative to say when you pay $85 for a room with a kitchenette and included breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Bev and Sandy are wonderful and they accommodated my family so we could all be together for Christmas. They rearranged furniture so there was room for the kids and the dog and made sure we had everything we needed. It has a private entrance, parking right in front for easy access and a lovely outdoor area. I recommend Bev & Sandy's Place!

I'm staying here as I'm posting this review,felt it was right to give credit where it was due. This place is a nice affordable hidden gem. Came here for work but got the relaxation I needed and will hopefully bring the wife back here next time. The complimentary breakfast was well thought out and appreciate it a lot, felt like my mom was looking after me. ☺️Thanks so much again!

This place used to be my stomping grounds so to say as I lived here all my life. The Cambie is ok for myself to sit and relax during the day hours. The nights usually seem geared for the younger generation and it should be. I stood in there one night a year ago in 2019 with the loudest music i ever heard in this place. It was vibrating and totally not my thing. Not sure what kind of music it was. Wild...

The rooms left me wishing more, so simple but whatever just slept one night there, also the music is bumpin hard (it was metal karaoke night) but good thing is that it finished at midnight on dot. The bar is cool tho and the bathrooms are trippy. Nice treatment by the staff too.

Looked in with my wife for a couple of beers during the afternoon having read reviews. It was dark and very much a 'dive' and she wasn't too impressed to start with. Great choice of beers, good music through the speakers, what's not to like? By the time we left she loved it.

This place was awesome! Huge, lots of things to do, a stage, and friendly bartenders. We went on Thursday evening and the girls behind the bar were awesome. Cool art in the bathrooms, if that matters to you. TONS of different types of beer. Might come to the island again just so we can go back!

We didn't feel well but wenn didn't feel unwell. It is an old Hostel and you can see that but you can arrange with it.

Attended a meeting in one of the conference rooms. I've stayed here before and it's lovely. Great rooms and great food in the restaurant.

A little Spartan and some odd resident behavior, but affordable and easy access to the highway. I got a last-minute reservation here and the office staff was very friendly. There are laundry services and detergent on-site; the machines take loonies.

Rooms are perfect for the traveler. Clean comfortable room with a mini kitchen. The location is at the center of UBC. Cafes/food around the hotel. Free WiFi too

A lot of construction going on nearby the Suites at the time of writing. Still love the hotel, primarily because of the on- campus location. There are a number of restaurants and other facilities on campus but you are a 30 minute drive from downtown. Hotel facilities are good but not exceptional.

Modern, close to UBC, and very clean. Staff was professional too. Only problem I faced was that they didn't have toothpaste at the front desk. Room adjoins kitchen and living room, but is separated by a sliding door. Couch has a pull out bed.
