Hotel Motel La Marquise

There are candies on the floor that... I never ate.... I'm wondering how clean that room really is. I think I saw a small cockroach... Also idk what's happening in the basement ... But the walls were shaking some times

For sure I could call you but what r you gonna do .. expensive as hell for what's there. The phone was not even working well

Rooms are in bad shape . Electricity went out on thursday... then came back a few hours after but wifi never went back up .. when we told the receptionnist he sais oh yeah I know i just didn't reset it ( proceeded to not go and reset it..) we went back the next day to say again that it wasn't working but again staff was not interested to go turn it back on.. the overall maintenance of the motel is well needed but clearly nothing will be done about it in a near future.. oh and altough they brag about having soundproof rooms it is more than innacurate you hear everything from your neighbors... we also asked for a hair dryer.. altough in another the motel wrote that they had some at the reception desk they told us they didn't have any... was it because they were too lazy? I guess we'll never know....

Be careful here. Although it has potential, the high price for extremely cramped rooms, to the breakfast that mostly offers donuts, this motel is in dire need of a health and safety inspection.

Someone else's hair on the floor. Had to wipe Someone else's cup ring off the bed side table. No coffee maker. Plug plate broken and half missing, Bedding was dated, flooring was cheap laminate and full of gouges and scrapes, chair was broken, wall paint was chipped and dirty, no art on the walls, bathroom had no fan, heat register was rusty, tub was yellowed from age and shower curtain was old and discolored. Caulking is disgusting, shower only half worked. Outside light burnt out. 2 of 4 bathroom lights burnt There are other motels close by, one is quite vintage, nice for the same price, one is a step down from that but still clean at least. Then there's this place. Only stayed because there was nothing else available. Would consider sleeping in car next time.

Said it was $79+ tax on the phone. Go to check out. $147+tax...Such a scam. Gross and out dated. Stepped right back into the 1990s when going into the room. Same bedspread to it looks like.... Never again.
