The Bruce Hotel

This is not our first visit to the Bruce. This time we brought our mom and she had a lovely time. The service at the Bruce is amazing from the time you make your reservation to the time you arrive and depart. I highly recommend the afternoon tea. It is such a treat but more an experience of flavors with food and delectable teas.

The pool and hot tub are well maintained and we have used both on our last visit. A special thank you to all the staff who are so welcoming but care about your stay. The gentleman who brought us to our room was charming and funny.

Rob was also helpful and wonderful during or stay. A special thank you to Mel who helped with our last two visits and made them both special and memorable. I cannot say enough from the gorgeous rooms, food, cookie holiness but also wonderful staff. A great getaway from the city nestled in Stratford. Thank you!!

We experienced a stunning, creative, and beautifully plated meal at The Bruce. The dining room had a light and polished ambiance, accompanied by our professional, attentive, and kind server Sophie. Thank you to all of the staff & manager for a wonderful evening!

We have stayed here a few times over the years and have enjoyed ourselves on each visit. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and very well kept, and it offers a bit of peace and quiet on the edge of downtown. The illuminated balls that appear on the lawn some evenings are a whimsical touch that we love.

Greatest dining experience ever! Service was impeccable! Atmosphere was superb! Chef Hani has crafted the most exquisite menu that delivers a delight with every bite. It would be impossible to find anything that wasn't paired perfectly. Wonderfully capped with decadent desserts that are tastefully plated. Don't forget to indulge in the savoury delights from their in house bakery! Dining at The Bruce is a culinary event that offers much more than words can express. Unmatched anywhere!

We absolutely love The Bruce. It’s our favourite hotel to stay for special occasions or a rare night away from the kids. It’s also kid-friendly, so it’s good for families. Rooms are decorated on traditional style but new, very clean. Love the jazz music playing in each room upon arrival. All rooms are also quite large with a good amount of space to hang out. The restaurant is delicious - both breakfast & dinner. Pool area is almost always empty when we’re there. Perhaps best of all is the incredible service. Every single person we’ve encountered, from front desk to cleaning staff to restaurant staff, have been the most helpful, accommodating & kindest. They truly seem like they care & will go out of their way to assist you in any way possible. The cookie line is also a great bonus. This place still seems a bit like a hidden gem & we can’t wait to get back again.

We've been to The Bruce along with their restaurant several times now and have always had an impeccable experience.

The staff are absolutely incredible from all levels of work. Extremely professional, friendly, and warm. Every interaction we've had with staff has been absolutely positive. They take care of every need you have and always seem to go the extra mile to improve your experience.

The facilities and rooms are immaculate. Everything feels clean, fresh, and purposefully done. It's very easy to relax and unwind here.

The food and restaurant are also extremely high quality. We dined in the restaurant on out most recent visit and had Amanda as our server. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, professional, friendly and also had excellent timing. We felt comfortable and happy from the moment we sat down. The cocktails were made very well, and the food was fantastic. The dishes were all thoughtfully prepared, well seasoned, and presented beautifully. Each dish was satisfying and had us looking forward to the next.

A truly great experience and we will certainly visit again.

This is my second time coming to Bruce Hotel and it constantly exceeds all of my expectations. They really do treat you like royalty and ensure you are comfortable throughout your whole stay. I took my sister here last year and we loved it so we took our parents this time around to celebrate their anniversary. We stayed this Easter weekend and my family absolutely loved it. From the front desk team members, to the restaurant/room service and other staff… everything was top-notch. The rooms were so clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious (+ you cannot beat the complimentary breakfast). My nephews loved the cookie hotline and the pool. The attention to detail, ensured safety, and to high-quality service is what makes this hotel a 5-star experience. Super close walk to downtown Stratford! We will certainly be back!! Thank you again!!

We finally had a chance to stay at the Bruce Hotel and from the time we stepped in the door we received such a great welcome. The room was perfect, large and very spacious, plus all the extra little things, like tarts, apples, coffee, tea.and fortune cookies. The Restaurant was very high class and food was excellent, the staff very professional and so friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. The Bruce is truly a great experience and the Best Hotel we have ever stayed in. We would give this hotel rating of 10 plus. Thanks TLC Alpaca Fred and Faye
