Best Western Plus NorWester Hotel & Conference Centre

Our family stayed 4 nights at this beautiful hotel for a business trip. Our stay was perfect! Comfortable room with great a/c. Clean, comfortable beds. Shower pressure was great.
Restaurant has amazing food! My kids loved the pancakes and bacon. The nachos were great and the pizza is huge for the price.
Outside is a dream. The view of the beautiful Sleeping Giant never got old. We brought our dog and it was very easy to let her out and feel comfortable with all the fields and trails close by.
My kids loved swimming in the pool. Only downside was the hot tub was out of service but we quickly forgot about it as everything else exceeded our expectations.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, every staff member was so polite and friendly to all of us, we will definitely stay here again😊

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we checked in, the receptionist provided exceptional service —friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spotless and very comfortable, a tasty breakfast was included each morning. The hotel's beautiful backyard offered breathtaking views of the mountains, making our experience even more memorable. We are super happy with our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Breath taking location in a beautiful safe and quiet part of Thunder Bay overlooking amazing panorama of Mount McKay (I think). Either way it's beautiful. Great service friendly and professional. Room was very nice accommodated a family of 5 in one room. Also diner and breakfast was great as well. We all came out happy and we'll rested

From making our reservation to checking in to the fitness facility, the pool and the room itself, everything was wonderful. We stayed in the Mt.McKay suite. If you have the opportunity, stay here. The very large shower had three different water options, robes were supplied, two sinks and an abundant supply of extra towels were available in the vanity. The small kitchenette was lovely and the fridge worked efficiently. The bed was comfortable and clean. Television was easy to operate and we found all the channels we needed. The temperature of the room was also easy to control. The fitness centre/pool were awesome as well. Having the option to order breakfast instead of just a continental breakfast is also a great option. And the view...simply gorgeous! The service at all points of contact was excellent and personal. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time, which was located a few minutes outside of Thunder Bay. The hotel was very clean, the pool and hot tub were great, and we were completely blown away by how friendly and helpful the hotel staff were!!! It was very obvious they were happy to be there and that they love their jobs, by the way they went out of their way to be of help, which is also a good indication of excellent management. We were equally impressed with the restaurant as well. The food was really good - both the quantity and quality - there were lots of options, and the employees were super friendly. We will most definitely be returning!!!

The hotel was great minus a few things that made our night a little less uncomfortable. We always stay with best western so these few things are minor. Overall the stay was nice. Staff friendly, good breakfast and the hotel was clean.
1. The beds are VERY firm. Usually they're a bit more soft.
2. The sheets in our room felt like sandpaper. Very stiff and not soft at all.
3. The water pressure was very poor.

Was at cliffhanger restaurant. Excellent customer service, pleasant atmosphere, spectacular view. I had a pickerel dinner. It was good. A little more seasoning would have made it perfect. I even requested an accomodation to the veggies that came with the dinner and they obliged without any hesitation.

Great experience, save for my dinner. The chicken alfredo was exceptionally bland, and I should have saved the $8 that I spent on the shrimp add on. I think the Norwester has discovered a new species of shrimp and they need to name them toothpick shrimp, on account of their size. Breakfast was a different story, the eggs benny and finn pancakes were top notch. All of the staff we interacted with were very pleasant. Tried to get a room for our next venture to Thunder Bay, sadly they're fully booked.
