The welcome was warm and you felt at home. The room was clean and cozy with all essential comforts. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback were the very thin pillows. Therefor a more than delicious, very extensive breakfast buffet was served, from which one didn't want to get up at all. My conclusion, anytime again. Price performance top!

06-11-2017: Excellent address for a transit through southern Germany. But it also seems excellent to me to stay here for a few days. We stayed on the first floor in a room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine Valley. Within walking distance to the Kurpark and nice restaurants. stay from 10/31/17 to 11/5/17. Very warm welcome from the hotel manager, but some problems with the rooms: TV (not a single French channel), no WI FI, no welcome drink , mini-bar unusable! We believe that this young couple has taken over this hotel and is trying to put everything back in order. They speak very little French, but Italian and English.

Nice hotel, certainly a bit outdated but the beds were fine. It was bloody hot in the rooms only because of the lack of air conditioning, we were here in early August 2017. Breakfast was delicious with warm freshly baked bread rolls.

Very informal and friendly. Warm welcome. Small hotel, few rooms, a lot of quiet, lovingly designed, for us (30 years) a bit too classic/probably geared towards an older clientele. Breakfast was enormously rich, no wishes remained unfulfilled. The only drawback: leaving the windows open is impossible because of mosquitoes and air conditioning costs 5 euros per night. We can't say anything about value...

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are nice, the garden area is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly. Also, do not skip the breakfast, it's quite enjoyable.

Very nice hotel with even friendlier staff. The city around it is mostly used for spa and therme activities, at which we only spent 1 night for our trip to Italy. Breakfast is good, rooms look and feel great. I was going to rate it 4 stars as nothing is perfect, but seeing the extremely friendly staff (the hotel owners I believe) I'm giving it 5 stars.

A boutique hotel from the finest! Just absolutely amazing! The hosts are like the rooms just beautiful. The breakfast buffet is stunning and alone worth a lot of money. The fitness room that attracted me to pick this place is small but has a the necessary equipment to get a good workout. I have been around, but have not had such a great overall experience. Charming, friendly and well kept hotel with an epic breakies.

Had a great overnight stay en route to Italy. Friendly staff, diner was really nice, our suite was excellent and breakfast was good. We booked a family room, but we're upgraded to two rooms. Highly recommended 😃

Great restaurant! Building is old and historic. Inside it is nicely renovated and modern. Food is fantastic and staff very kind.

Rooms are clean, there is no problem in the entrances and exits.

Not that great. It's okay to stay a night and it is quite. But it is close a railway, not that I noticed btw. The restaurant is downstairs where you can also check in. Not the most clear check in. The food is also okay but not anything special. One wierd things is that the owners disable the Wifi past 22:30. Not that the internet is really usable.

It's going ok.... The room is clean and OK, the 1960s bathroom could do with a renovation. And a shower curtain is no longer "state of the art". The TV delivers a terrible picture. There is no reception in the actual sense. The pizzeria in the house offers (in my opinion) a great pizza from the wood-fired oven.

The small hotel made a clean impression overall, the operator was very friendly. The mattresses on the beds were just right for my taste and the room was spacious. The associated balcony was quite large for a hotel and divided squarely to the main street, which was rather quiet during my stay. We booked an overnight stay here on the way to Italy. Great contact and everything was handled well. Good and big apartment. The pets were allowed. We had a good stay. You can eat well within 10 minutes of walking.

High quality appartments, some with a spectacular view over the Rhine valley towards the Vosges mountains. Parking lots exclusively for tenants.

Very comfortable, spacious apartment that is well maintained and well equipped. Really appreciated the small things like dishwasher tablets. The apartments are located in a quiet area of Bad Bellingen; the small center of the town is within walking distance.

It's nice and clean and reasonably priced. However I reserved a 2 bedroom apartment with a bathtub and got a 1 bedroom apartment with shower. Bit of a letdown..

The Hotel Alte Post is a fantastic place. We stayed in a very comfortable and quiet room. Upon our arrival after, a long day in the car, we were welcomed with a glass of local wine. The breakfast has something for everyone and the hotel’s bio ethos means that everything is locally sourced. Is is simply fantastic!

Comfortable stay in friendly hotel Friendly hotel with spacious rooms but very small bathrooms (larger people might struggle in this tiny space). Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choices and locally produced organic drinks available.

A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. Very clean rooms and facilities.

Nice hotel in a very quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Two points that deserve real improvement are the parking space availability and the messages (which were of poor quality for the price, real shame!)

Very enjoyable old songs from 70s and 80s the golden era of music of this type and other genres using above all electric instruments which gave a whole new sound. This set was acoustic with some effects added but effective and enthusiastic singers from a local duo from Lorrach. I am relaxing beautifully on the historical floor in the room named after Anton P. Chekhov, everything is great.

Good, quiet place, to France 2 hours on foot, to Switzerland 4 hours on foot. We lived and worked here in the summer of 2020. The building is closed to visitors, repairs are underway, hot water is not everywhere, there is no gas, they cooked on electric stoves. The sewerage in the shared kitchen does not work. 9 € per day is deducted from the salary. Everything else is fine.

This hotel has held the tradition of "old world charm" blended with a lovely modern spa/pool. A treat to see their collection of antiques!

We had an outstanding tasting menu of 4 courses. The flavours in each dish delicate and balanced and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the ambiance warm and pleasant. The monkfish served on a bed of black lentils was delicious and visually interesting. It was a special event to celebrate - Women in wine, with winemaker Johanna Bernhart presenting excellent local wines.

Nice rooms with proper service and friendly staff, even at late night arrival. I stay often and was never let down. It's a low-price hotel which does not pretend to be more than it is. Nice and easy.

Nice little hotel that is more like a guesthouse. Very clean and good price for value with uncomplicated and friendly hosts. Bus stop to Weil am Rhein nearby, and the castle is just a short walk uphill away.

The hotel itself is showing its age, and the room facilities are old, but the triple room we stayed in was very large, and the beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfying, and the bar on the lobby floor was appealing. The location is very close to the highway, making access excellent, and the large car park is well-equipped, so we were satisfied.

Do yourself a favor and find another place. This used to be a decent hotel. The whole place is getting older and now they upcharge for everything. Breakfast used to be small but good buffet. Now 20 euro for crappy English breakfast. Can't even get a cup of coffee here. This will be last time staying here for business or recommending to international colleagues coming to Weil for business. Very sad...

Had car problems and needed to stay overnight. We were able to get a room around midnight when other hotel options were already closed. The staff was accommodating and provided us with a free parking space for our car and the trailer, which usually would set you back 20€. Had a lovely drink at the bar and we were ready to head out the next day.

A fab service at this hotel ; everyone was so kind and helpful - genuinely. A sturdy bath and great period features which added a quaint touch to the hotel. Breakfast was not a buffet but you choose from the menu and are served which made me feel special and cared for . Thank you everyone at the hotel for making it an enjoyable and pleasant stay .

Nice hotel when you are travelling for your vacation. Rooms are fine but a bit outdated. Breakfast was excellent with lots of glutenfree options. The service was very good. The only real downside was that two out of three elevators weren't working. Pricing was also very good.

Near the high way with quite outdated rooms, though clean and silent and beds are excellent. Some rooms lack airconditioning. One elevator was working, out of 3. Breakfast is huge but you need to pay extra for your second cup of coffee. Good for a one night stopover.

Hostile front desk! Holes on towels and old furniture. Probably carried over from another hotel. High police presence as it's the choice of border police as far as we could understand. Overpriced and definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Spent 6 nights at the hotel with 2 other guests and myself. The rooms were very immaculate and beautiful and spacious. I had the opportunity to try out both the Deluxe, and Executive Suite hotel rooms and both were amazing. We enjoyed our stay with two small kids. Hotel has connected rooms which was great. All our small problems were solved by the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is nice. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable.

Clean, dog friendly, and excellent location by the Rhein. Maintenance is poor. The hotel is on floor 5 and 6 with three lifts. One is permanently out of order, another failed, and was told that it wouldn't be fixed until the next day. With so many rooms, one small lift is inadequate.

Wow so surprised by the hotel. It was just for one night during our road trip but I actually want to stay longer 🫣 very spacious large room (3 people), amazing view, great service, clean.

We stayed only one night but it felt as an eternity. The staff were really kind and accommodating. The first room that we were assigned was really nice, big, smelled really good and clean but while I was in the shower the water stopped working because of a malfunction and I couldn’t even wash away the soap. We had to change to another room at night. This second room was ok but it smelled really bad...

We have stayed here a few times and only just realised that I have never left a review. Always a friendly and efficient check-in/out. This stay we were arriving after reception closed, however they very generously offered to come and open up for us when we arrived, all it took was a phone call once we were a few minutes away. Perfect for a quick stop. Free Parking, WiFi (although bit slow). And breakfast for Just 5euro (buffet). Room had TV, fan, hairdryer and a small table where you can sit and work. You can't move the two single beds to make a double bed so make sure you specifically say what bed you want when you book. :) Even if you book for multiple days, you only get tiny shampoo packet and no toothpaste. No problem...
