Hotel opened in 1622, renovated in 2009. In this mini-hotel 45 rooms, 5 floors.

This review is only for the restaurant (the German one, not the Michelin one) ⬇️
We had a reservation for 8 people at one of the two restaurants located inside "Hotel zum Stern". Since two members of our group were vegans we asked the staff in advance if they would offer them a vegan option (there wasn't anything vegan on the menu). They were very friendly and did their best to provide three vegan options for us.
Personally, I had the ox cheek with red wine sauce, fried potatoes and broccoli. The dish was okay and the meat was tender. Nevertheless there wasn't anything special about this dish.
The vegans in our group ended up with some couscous and vegetables which could be described as nothing more than very basic.
For dessert I was very excited to try the cheese platter (you rarely find a cheese course offered in Germany). The platter consisted of three regional cheeses, even though the menu said there would be four.
The cheese in combination with the fig mustard was very good, but the bread that came with the plate was rather dry and boring. I had to ask for some extra butter to eat it.
For drinks I chose some German "Weizen" (wheat beer) which was as good as expected. One member of our group asked for "Helles" (Bavarian ale) but all they could offer was some cheap east German Pilsener. We also tried a glass of red wine which was very good but cost 8€.
In the end we left semi-satisfied with a bill of 240€ for 8 people.
This review may seem very picky and snobbish, but I have to say that for a decent, middle class Italian or Vietnamese restaurant (where a main dish would cost around 13€) some small mistakes would be perfectly tolerable. But at this place mains started at 22€ and in the end they were okay, but far away from being life-changingly delicious or even worth the price. I don't regret eating there, but I also wouldn't eat there again.

Best ratio between price and performance since long! I got a small room, but all I needed was there.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast included in a fair room-rate and even the beer from the minibar was NOT to be paid extra, but included. This is really customer-focus.
