A very comfortable hotel, friendly staff, relatively spacious rooms, good breakfast. Only disappointment was dinner. We were on a package for the Passionspeil and dinner the night before was a set menu that was the worst meal we’ve ever had in a hotel! Cooked hours before and inedible.

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed some spa and wellness. The wellness area is beautiful and I felt very comfortable there. The massage at the hotel was excellent and super relaxing. The food was excellent, including breakfast. The rooms are nice too. There is a lot to do in the area and you can go on great hikes directly from the hotel. The mountain railway is directly opposite.

I stayed there for a week with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary. It was very worth it. The rooms were really cozy. We personally had a beautiful valley view, which you could really enjoy from the balcony. The hotel staff was always friendly and courteous. You always felt at home. Breakfast very easy, cool and casual in the morning, apart from the great selection, and very chic and sophisticated...

We had a short but very nice stay at the Schillingshof. Very friendly and attentive staff in all areas, really great kitchen - we ate excellently and the eye eats too! Very nice and large swimming pool and sauna area. From the swimming pool with the large panoramic window you have a great view. Especially when the sun goes down very atmospheric! Perfect to switch off and relax. Thank you for everything...

The Hotel Schillingshof proved a good base for our stay in the area to see the Passion Play. Our room was clean, quiet, and everything worked well and we enjoyed the daily maid service. The hotel pool is lovely with gorgeous views . The breakfast buffet was one of the best. We had dinner at the hotel one night and the food was very good, the service however felt rushed and our server left the impression...

Stayed here two nights. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and had a private outdoor balcony. Breakfast was included and was a nice buffet. We had dinner one night and it was fresh and tasty! Indoor parking was available for a small fee, or free parking outdoors in on-site location. I'd love to stay here again sometime...

This hotel deserves 5stars. Every corner radiates with beauty and a dedication to detail and quality. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and solace from the nature. Book it with halfboard direct from its website (for two nights at least). It gives you a much better deal.

I was in Johannesbad for a short break. Very nice rooms, good comfortable beds, safe, minibar, etc. Dogs welcome. Fantastic, rich breakfast buffet. Very nice, friendly and courteous owners, always available for a chat. The staff are also very nice and friendly. Very good cosmetic treatments and massages. Very good for hiking from the hotel. I would love to come back ..

Very good food and family owned atmosphere. My room was very nice and I also like the pool and sauna area. You have the choice of a take away lunch instead of breakfast. I liked that because I had to leave early in the morning.

Very quiet location, great farm, with lots of space and a wide view. Very nice and friendly family, we felt very comfortable. We were able to store our bikes safely. Ms. Onnich always suggested the best goals of the day for breakfast, which we were very happy to include in our daily planning. If we go on holiday in this region again, we will definitely ask again!

Our first holiday on a farm around March this year was super relaxing! The host family is wonderfully relaxed and natural with a loving Bavarian manner. They were always at our side with tips on the region and gastronomy, as well as sights. We were able to get to know and observe the many different animals that live on the farm in an uncomplicated way. We also had a great insight into the everyday...

Great for a vacation with small children. Lots of animals to see, and pet, very nice playground next to the house and 5min on foot an adventure playground as well. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was also good. All in all a warm recommendation.

We stayed one night during our visit to Oberramergau, Ettal and Linderhof castle. The place was very easy to find. There are enough park spaces on both sides of the building. The host was very friendly and positive. He even gave our children some candies. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I recommend the place.

Andrea of Alpen Gastehaus Gerold is the absolutely the best. We spent 8 glorious days and 7 nights in the Alpen Studio that had very comfortable beds with an amazing view of the Bavarian majestic mountains from our balcony. Everything you could need was provided and we really enjoyed making some of our meals in a well equipped kitchen. Their is a newly opened Edeka supermarket across the street too...

I was there in July 2022 for 2 nights with my family. The room was perfect. The bathroom was clean and the hairdryer was able there. Furthermore, breakfast was very tasty. As for the owners, they were very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place.

A beautiful location.🌄 The rooms were good.🛏 Decent sized bathroom🛁 and a mini-fridge, and we had a little balcony to take in a more panoramic view🏞 of the amazing view of the mountains. In the morning the breakfast was a pretty standard☕ & The lady staff were very nice friendly as well. 😊😊
