Very clean! good breakfast! However, pool, sauna, game room close at 1900. All local restaurants prefer reservations.

It's ok I guess because there was NO wifi even though they advertise it it is a very weak signal and the food was pretty good

This is a great Hotel to stay if you want to explore the region of the Ammergau Alps. The service at the hotel is impeccable and the people of the region are very friendly to tourists. You will start your day with an amazing breakfast buffet and then you can either hike the Alps, hit the slopes or relax at the Spa!!! We will be back again soon!

This is a quaint hotel right in front of the mountain "Hörnle" - a great area to Ski and sleigh ride. They have a 4.5km long sleigh hill which you can ride down 🙌🏽 The food for the region is very hearty and filling from home made Spätzle to Schnitzel you can eat anything your hear desires st their in house restaurant. Nice clean spacious room, awesome wellness area, we enjoyed it there and plan to stay there in the summer as well. I only do not understand why was the breakfast on our check-out day (sunday) richer than previous days, for me it was a bit disppointing. But it was great anyway, thanks.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days. The service was very good, the breakfast excellent. The room was of a good standard, as was the bathroom, if a little on the small side. The location in the village is very quiet and only a few hundred meters from the "center". We will be back, especially because of the rich and high quality breakfast.

The staff is really forthcoming and nice, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, what prevents this venue from getting 5 stars is the quality of the food offered here. Breakfast was fine and the fish was also good at lunch and dinner, but the meat and especially the vegetables were too greasy.

We stayed one night during our visit to Oberramergau, Ettal and Linderhof castle. The place was very easy to find. There are enough park spaces on both sides of the building. The host was very friendly and positive. He even gave our children some candies. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I recommend the place.

Andrea of Alpen Gastehaus Gerold is the absolutely the best. We spent 8 glorious days and 7 nights in the Alpen Studio that had very comfortable beds with an amazing view of the Bavarian majestic mountains from our balcony. I was there in July 2022 for 2 nights with my family. The room was perfect. The bathroom was clean and the hairdryer was able there. Furthermore, breakfast was very tasty. As for the owners, they were very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place.

A beautiful location.🌄 The rooms were good.🛏 Decent sized bathroom🛁 and a mini-fridge, and we had a little balcony to take in a more panoramic view🏞 of the amazing view of the mountains. In the morning the breakfast was a pretty standard☕ & The lady staff were very nice friendly as well. 😊😊

I think they did a great job of making their usual super buffet breakfast FEEL like a buffet when one must order from a manu instead. Food is still excellent with super service. They handle Covid-19 as well as possible.

Cool hotel for trainings, awesome wine collection and very good food

Loved it. The hotel is very welcoming, on a fantastic location and allows you to relax completly. There is a wide variety of services and all of them are very good. They also allow dogs so you can bring your pet with you and have walks around the location. The only downside is that english is not always available in some places.

It is a quiet, simple inexpensive hotel, offering the exact same selection for its decent free breakfast of breads, cold cut meats, sliced cheeses, boiled eggs, yogurt and Muesli, with juice and coffee. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but there is a room on the ground floor in which you can receive guests and friends.

This is a wonderful lodge, especially for families. It's in easy reach of the Unterammergau and Oberammergau ski slopes, which are good for beginner skiers. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We loved it.

The is a great place with big rooms and good bathrooms. Public transportation is right outside the hotel. The hotel has its own parking lot. As I prefer rooms without carpet, the room was perfect for me. Breakfast was well served with coffee or tea. I enjoyed a week with very friendly hosts.
