Hotel located just opposite the Vita Classica thermal baths. Perfect welcome, a small cocktail is offered to you upon your arrival. The rooms are spacious (small kitchenette in our case) very quiet. A little note for you when you arrive in your room, some trout and a drink. The staff is very friendly and at your service. We will return without hesitation!

Nice rooms and good breakfast. They have an underground parking which is quite narrow and difficult with big cars. If you have problems or the underground parking is full ask at the reception and they will help you. Nice view from the roof. No minibar in the rooms but there are drinks at the top floor in a fridge.

Since we are in hotels a lot, I think I can judge what is on offer. From the outside, the impression is unspectacular at first, as is the entrance area and hallways. Directly in the hotel next to the reception there is a kebab shop INSIDE, you don't have to find it good, but it doesn't bother you and if you are hungry a pizza without a long way is certainly not wrong in the evening. I was there with a group for lunch just before 12pm, after that you get overrun. 😅My pizza was super nice, thin crust and crispy. The prices are really good, the service friendly and quick.

Good, quiet place, to France 2 hours on foot, to Switzerland 4 hours on foot. We lived and worked here in the summer of 2020. The building is closed to visitors, repairs are underway, hot water is not everywhere, there is no gas, they cooked on electric stoves. The sewerage in the shared kitchen does not work. 9 € per day is deducted from the salary. Everything else is fine.

City Hotel has a lovely staff that serve a hearty breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring Freiburg. The underground parking is also very convenient.
