Very friendly staff, they did everything to make our stay memorable. We travelled with two dogs, and they were really kind to them too. Excellent food in the restaurant that really exceeded our expectations. Vegetarian and even vegan options, which is not a given in Germany. Beautiful location in a little village surrounded by hills and forests. In summary: highly recommended!

Perfect accommodation, friendly and thoughtful staffs, beautiful and quite environment, couldn’t ask for more! Strongly recommend their restaurant, they offer one of the best ice cream in the world.

Returning to Hotel Zur Post is always a treat: the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Feel free to ask at the desk for anything, even for places to visit in the area - we had a lady explain to us every step to reach a certain viewpoint, she even drew us a hand drawn map which was insanely adorable! The rooms are clean and spacious, this includes the bathroom which features all amenities...

Relativ großes Hotel. Ich war in etwa 4 unterschiedlichen Zimmern. Alles soweit sauber und gepflegt. Zimmereinrichtung und Bad würde ich mal auf Mitte/Ende 80er Jahre schätzen. Fernseher klein, teilweise noch Röhre. Restaurant und Frühstück gut. WLAN kostenlos aber von wechselhafter Qualität. Die Zimmer hatten alle einen kleinen Schreibtisch mit Steckdose.

Das Appartement ist einfach nur perfekt. Ruhige Lage, sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Betten sind super bequem und die Gastgeberin ist sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

After our first stay in summer was so great, we have now spent 1 week over the turn of the year in the beautiful Weitblick apartment. Everything was wonderful: the tasteful and loving furnishings, the generous facilities, the view of the wonderfully green surroundings - we really enjoyed it all again. In addition, the beautiful garden with a gently babbling brook and the quiet location by the forest...

I stayed twice this year for a weekend in the downstairs apartment and loved it each time! There is nothing better than standing on the terrace in the morning with a hot cup of coffee and enjoying the view. Great apartment, the area is great for hiking and the landlords are just really nice! I will definitely come back!

A spacious and tastefully furnished apartment that fully met our expectations. Two terraces invite you to relax. The hosts are very welcoming and try to fulfill every wish of their guests. Very pleasant little hotel! The owners are a bit older, but they are always friendly and hospitable! The rooms are clean, there are minor signs of use here and there, but nothing that limited the functionality. We had a room with a balloon. It wasn't particularly big, but it offered enough space for two and was well worth the € 80! The breakfast was excellent and the owner's little wire-haired dachshund...

Long-established inn with really super hospitable owners. The rooms are actually so clean that you can almost eat off the floor. No dirt, no mold in the corners .. just great!

Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. I had a single room, which was the typical German single room with a single bed pushed against the wall. For the price perfectly fine! There restaurant is nice, the staff friendly. It'll be my choice to stay, when I'm back in Meden.

Excellent hospitality! We were warmly welcomed by the staff, it felt like home. Rooms are very comfy and clean and food was delicious! We'll be back for sure!
