We had a short overnight stay, arriving late at night. Although we made arrangements for our keys to be left in a small safe at the entrance, the staff were still up and about at 11.30pm and happy to serve us at reception and the bar. Best hotel I‘ve went to. The staff is super nice and helps you anytime. And the food... the food is so good. I’ve never been so full in my life. If you’ll eat there (wich you should), you’ll be so full that you’ll probably only finish one meal.

Nice hotel. There a restaurant and a pub for food and drink. Free wifi and parking available. Nearby offers limited shopping options. There a park and foredt trails for running, which are worth.

For a 3 star hotel it really is on the upper level. The rooms are not brand new but all clean, so are the bathrooms. The beds are a bit squeaky but not uncomfortable. Breakfast is solid and offers all an average person might want. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My four stars don't make it a 4 star hotel but a good 3 star hotel.

Absolutely top in the region. Mr. Manfred Bonn takes care of the guests themselves when time allows. The rooms are furnished in the most modern standard, so everyone feels comfortable and satisfied. The breakfast buffet leaves almost nothing to be desired ... the food is absolutely great. I have arranged an event there myself ... all participants were to the complete satisfaction ... the staff is friendly...

Friendly family owned hotel. We came to the bar, and the owner came to talk to us;, suggesting good beer from the region. Room are fine size for a 2-3 business trip. Nothing special, just fine. Breakfast is fine. OK. Good. Restaurant very good, with local beer. Food is very well prepared. Even salad gives you enough enery. Well portion. Parking in the hotel and just across the street.

The food was delicious. We were served by two women, the first one wasn't friendly and didn't feel like serving us. After a while we got another employee. We felt much more comfortable with her because she knew something about service and friendliness. The selection of dishes was sufficient.

Location is good with good parking area. Rooms are clean, not that spacious, but good. Bathroom is good too, with good amenities, but the floor outside the shower gets wet when we take a bath.

The restaurant was closed for our stay. We were housed in what seems like the annex. There was no bar either. We had to get a taxi to eat. Convenient parking was plentiful. The service was not so good as reception proved to be a little unhelpful.

Fairytale in Kassel The Hotel Gude is located just outside the fairytale district and right next to the tram. Perfect starting point for a visit to the Documenta ... or to take the two walks designed by the hotel manager. Room, staff and breakfast perfect 👌

We were at the documenta in Kassel and again at the Hotel Gude. A nice service is the arrangement with admission tickets, so you don't have to worry about anything. Nice reception, nice room of a good size with a small balcony. Small bathroom, but everything is there. Good beds. Nice breakfast with lots of fresh things from the region, some homemade. It is suitable for hiking. It is 4 kilometers away from the city, but the surrounding area is really beautiful. At the foot of the mountain, there is a small trail opposite that leads to the top of the mountain. It is very suitable for hiking.

The hotel is really beautiful, located in a resort area. The air has a high level of negative oxygen ions in the morning, which makes me feel better when I stay here!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights and can only report positive things. The rooms are clean and spacious and you feel comfortable. The breakfast is a buffet and very sufficient. As a family, we had no complaints.

We stayed here last week of June ( 3 nights ,me and my wife) , in Kassel for Documenta , we loved this hotel , lets note that the hotel is under construction , expansion , adding floors and new entrance , new dinning area , etc . But this in no way affected our stay , quiet , great beds , we suggest a room on the street side for now . Staff very welcoming and friendly , nice temporary breakfast service...

We spent a weekend here in the hotel with friends to see Kassel and we are very impressed with the hotel. The rooms are newly furnished and there is nothing missing in the room that you need for a weekend, the firm mattresses make for a very good night's sleep and it is beautifully clean. The Hotel Palmenbad offers a very nice option: very good location near Wilhelmshöhe Park, tram in front of the building and good parking. The building is old but overall in good condition. Comfortable, beautiful rooms. Modernly equipped with Apple TV and all streaming services. Family-like, friendly service both in the hotel and in the adjoining restaurant. We stayed overnight on a long trip, so just one night but it was lovely, they were super-nice with our two young kids and put us at ease. We would love to come back again!

Quite a small inn but comfortable. The service was friendly and without long waiting times. The schnitzel with fried potatoes and mushrooms was delicious, ready quickly and inexpensive.

Got there last minute so does the job. Clean room and good bathroom facilities. Off road parking. Cold meat and cheese buffet with cereal and hot drinks for breakfast. We paid 70 euro on Friday before Christmas. Which was reasonable. 66 without breakfast.

Rooms are comfortable but the breakfast is quite minimalistic and the room amenities would need to be rethought (e.g. there's a nespresso coffee machine in the room but you have to pay a ridiculous 1.5 euro to use one capsule).

Very nice hotel. Spacious and super clean room but I didn't like the fact that one of my room neighbors hit the wall yelling at me because I was talking (not shouting) on the phone and he was probably trying to sleep. Hotel rooms are supposed to be hermetically closed once the door is shut.

Great stay at Pentahotel Kassel! Super kid-friendly, staff made us feel welcome as a family, rooms are comfy, and location near the station is perfect. However for a 4 star hotel and the price our room and bathroom seemed small and outdated. Breakfast wasn’t great with slow service, long queue to coffee machine and rather stale baked goods. I guess it’s all about the location here but small improvements would create a great experience...

Excellent hotel! Smooth process at all levels. Plentiful buffet in the evening and in the morning. We had a great room, very clean, just the design of what is supposed to be a sink took a little getting used to. My recommendation: take advantage of the many offers and have a great time!

Decent hotel, we stayed in their biggest suite which was like $600+ a night. I did like the suite and the huge deck was nice too but the decor was a little questionable at times. I didn't really mind that though, my biggest issue was the service. The staff was often rude or straight up condescending, especially during check-in. While their breakfast options weren't bad I expected more for $600+ a night

Very nice hotel and staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice room. Nearby both the railway station, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and Zoo am Rammelsberg. The only drawback is the traffic on the street outside, paved with cobblestone so every car makes a lot of noise. Nothing the hotel can do something about, and sleeping with the window shut may silence some of it.

20 minutes to breakfast closing i couldn’t order eggs; no excuse, no explanation, just: “NO”. 15 minutes to breakfast closing i couldn’t sit in the breakfast area. i come here to rest, not to get told what to do or what i can’t have.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The rooms do have a safe and refrigerated mini bar and to my surprise a bathtub. Breakfast includes everything from eggs, bacon, cheese, jogurt, fresh fruits and breads. There is a tram stop directly in front of the hotel making it very easy to travel around. Checking in and out is very easy and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is small and cozy, clean and tidy. There is a coffee machine and slippers in the room. The front desk gives you a free Kassel transportation day ticket. It's great.

The hotel is in a great location. It's very convenient for train travel, just adjacent to the stations. It is also located within walking distance to lovely parks and tourist attractions. My room was clean and spacious.

房間很乾凈，地毯和床上用品都令人看得很舒服。雖然房間面積比較小，但是佈局比較合理，空間利用也科學，靠窗的兩側設定了牆龕，一個作工作台，一個作迷你水吧枱，夠用。出差嘛，不能像家裡一樣。早餐比較簡單，每天都是相同品種，且不多，填飽肚子應該沒問題。看那些德國人吃得津津有味，乾淨衞生是首要。 然後遇到一個問題，也莫名其妙地解決了：訂酒店時我們是定了含早餐的，入住時前台查了記錄説沒有早餐，跟攜程聯繫，攜程不錯，説你們先吃，後面如果酒店跟我們另外要早餐錢，攜程會為我們報銷。結果離店時酒店啥也沒説，直接交了房卡走人。不知是攜程溝通妥了還是酒店忘收了，總之我們沒再另外付早餐錢。本來嘛，就是含了早餐的。 總之，這家酒店感覺還不錯。

You can see the sign immediately to the right after leaving the station. It's very reassuring for arriving passengers with suitcases. The tram leaves right in front of it. I was impressed by the very efficient layout. However, since it's in front of the station, there is some noise! ​​There is no air conditioning, so I couldn't open the window, so it was a little hot.

The room is OK, but there is no parking space, which is very troublesome

The room is very small. The bed in the standard room is only 0.8 meters, and the bed in the king room is 1.5 meters. There is only a bottle of water and a two-in-one shower shampoo in the room. There is no kettle, slippers, toothbrush or soap. The windows are poorly soundproofed. The sound of the train is quite loud. The heating in the room is not very effective and it is quite cold. It's a nice and unique Place with friendly staff. We have been there to play german bowling. The food was valuable and good.

The rooms are big, clean, and nice. Was easy to get a room and everyone was nice even though no one really spoke English, wasn't a problem. Would stay here again.
