What a gem! Very quaint, great location, beautiful area. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

Visited Bodenwerder and stayed here. My family immigrated to Texas 183 years ago from here so wanted to see where I came from. Hotel was so awesome!!! Breakfast incredible. Evenings drinking beer and wine by the river. Such a wonderful place and experience. Thank you Hotel Anker!!

I stayed here whilst working in Germany, It's a lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting. Rooms are very nice and the staff are also very nice. I enjoyed staying here and loved my time in Germany. I hope to return again.

Good hotel, clean and nice rooms. The restaurant is ok, but closes a bit early.

Stayed here while traveling with work, had room 19 which was more like a suite to be fair it was a double bedroom, separate lounge area and bathroom. The shower could do with renervation the shower drips all night however shutting the door solves it overall stay was fine. Little difficult being English because unfortunately front desk didn’t speak even basic.

Great place to stay, top quality room with heating floors, walk in shower is pretty although it overflows easily but can get new towels If needed. Bikes are free with the hotel which is great for getting around, although staff dont know a lot of english they try to help as much as possible, second time here as partner insisted on staying here again as she fell in love with it

Loved our last stay in very spacious luxury room. Very well situated near the town centre. Coming again in August would like to know how much it is to hire 2 bikes from the hotel?

Very nice little hotel close to the old city - 5 to 10 minutter walk. We got a family suite with two rooms and two bathrooms. Access to a very nice terrace. Details in the rooms revealed that the build ingen was old, but every thing had been nicely restored. Very nice breakfast and very friendly service. All in all a place we would not hesitate to return to.

I know this hotel well, stayed there for several months as a guest once years back and routinely return for work in the area. They didn't have any of my previous visits or details upon arrival. It changed hands apparently and all old data lost. I don't think change of ownership has helped it. It has become a boring, bland, corporate-type hotel with no redeeming features at all. The hotel is clean and tidy. The ladies are very polite and tidy. The breakfast is also very good. For us, a big 10.

Clean and comfortable, but the bed is a bit small. There is a park in front of the hotel. In addition, because of the exhibition in Hannover, the price is high. There is a bar not far from the hotel, where you can have a drink.

The room is nice, with a small balcony and a view of the distant scenery and municipal park. The breakfast variety is very rich. There are also many restaurants in the surrounding area, and the transportation is convenient. It is not far from Hameln train station, and a taxi cost less than ten euros.

It was easy to walk to the downtown area and the train station wasn't far, which was nice. Breakfast was also good. However, the facilities in the room were a bit disappointing. The view was very pretty in the evening.

My wife and I loved everything. Clean rooms, clean bathroom everything is cleaned daily. Delicious breakfast buffet with plenty of rolls and scrambled eggs. Very attentive staff. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and always tried to please everyone. The location of the hotel is highly recommended due to its central location, whether young or old. We would love to spend our vacation there...

After something went wrong with a booking at another hotel, we got a very comfortable double room on the spur of the moment. Furniture partly a bit old-fashioned but everything was clean and intact. Flexible check-in and check-out was possible and we were able to leave our luggage there for longer on the day of departure.

On the way in northern Germany and stayed here. Remarkably friendlier, beyond the usual reception both on the phone when booking and on arrival. Also centrally located. Price / performance ratio also great. I would love to go back there.

Gateaux look good but the sponge layers between the cream filling is dry and old..tastes like cardboard. What a shame that the cakes are not freshly made as in other local cafes. We stayed in this lovely family runt hotel in august. The rooms are simple and clean and spacious enough. The shower is okay. Breakfast is good, very tasty fresh coffee, fruit yoghurt, tasty bread and scrambled eggs. The staff is extremely nice! We will come back for sure!

Sleep-over in Hildesheim Very nice hotel in the countryside of Hildesheim. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. He spent time to show me around the building, telling me the history of it... He is very proud of the building history and how he has developed the business.

This hotel is located outside of Hannover (around 20 min drive). They offer on-site parking which is always appreciated. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with a lot of quality options. Staff was very nice.

One night stay while travelling through Hannover. I was very happy with the hotel. I felt that they were very 'covid safe' while still being helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable (our group had 2 rooms - one to the front and one to the back) and I (front) had no problem with any noise from the road. The buffet breakfast was good, varied and plentiful. We will stay here again.

Quiet Good hotel Not good breakfast

It's conveniently right by the train station and near some lovely restaurants. It's a basic room, however, the bedding is a bit questionable. If you prefer a firmer pillow, rather than one that suddenly disappears when touched, bring one with you. The breakfast has definitely improved from last year and has an wider range of choice. It's buffet style but pretty good.

The room is clean and if you are really tired, the bed is big enough. In any other situation, the bed is quite small. Breakfast is OK for German stanfard, but nothing special. If you expect to have a relaxing evening at the sauna, then you have a maximum 50/50 chance it actually working. Free parking and close to local shops.
