Where to stay in Braunschweig

Perfect if you are wanting a cosy , home like place. Be aware that the best way would be a car rental as most of the hotels are far from city centre.

Good Hotel, and my rating is 4 out of 5, however room service should be improved ( eg. during three-week stay soap in the bathroom was not refilled..).

They have a great sports bar with good service, they all speak English fluently as well as serve very good food. They will make changes to their menu items on request without hassle, the food provided was consistent. This place had potential to be a realy nice hotel but it need's a renovation and the gym only had treadmills and one machine also the sauna was not warm. However they served good beer.

We had a dinner there with about 30 people. They arranged a dedicated room with a great arrangement. Quality of food was very good and personnel very friendly and professional. I would recommend it to anyone who looks for something more formal, but still with a warm touch.

Nice hotel with good location near a garden and lake. Rooms are quiet and good in size. Check in/out is fast. You have to help your self carrying your luggages since no one is there to take your bags to your room.

It is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are clean, has a brilliant feel and sophistication to it. Although it feels like a luxury hotel, it is not so expensive to stay. The breakfast menu is very elaborate. You must try the stuffed omlette prepared by the chef, if you ask for it. I would certainly like to visit again.

The hotel room and breakfast was great. The only thing that was really below standard, especially for this type of hotel, was the wireless internet.

I was in this hotel during a conference and I should confess that this hotel is REALLY good ... The personnel are really friendly and I would like to experience thos days again n again n again ... :)

Business Hotel, personnel at very high level, friendly and ready to assist (they have all my gratitude). Internal restaurant is very good. Breakfast almost fine. Moreover, the fact that there is no laundry service is not acceptable. Rooms cleaning to be improved.

Excellent service from the personel, if the rooms had a small refridgerator they would be perfect. The location is good for me; but for visiters, it is on the out- skirts of the city.

The hotel is nice and the staff are great with a very quiet location. Note: they don't clean the room unless you tell them and there is nothing near the hotel like supermarkets or restaurants. But in general it's OK with me since I was looking for something quiet. The staff make your stay enjoyable 😁

I expected more quality from a Best Western Hotel compared to the price. Breakfast was honestly poor and not so much sweet choice - actually there where no croissants for example. Room service was not done at all and once I came back to the room the towels were still on the floor like I left them in the morning. Hotel is in a strategic position and rooms was ok.

The food was exceptional good the staff was really nice the hotel was very clean and comfortable if you don't come to stay in the hotel just come for the food

Hotel is placed next to the beautiful park with lakes. Very quiet and cozy place to stay with family. It takes about 20 minutes to get to city center

Staff here is very professional. I forgot a pair of pants and shirt before leaving but upon request they acted timely and handed it to the postal service. I am very impressed.

It's a historic building in the inner city right next to the Brunswick lion statue. I was there attending a conference dinner. We were in a large, open hall on the second (first) floor. We were seated in at la the round tables an Donner was served as buffet style. There was a lot variety of food, and the food was quite good. Very spacious. You could build a complete Ibis hotel just in the staircase. Rooms are brand new. Nice old fashion hotel and nice staff, right in the city centre, for a reasonable price.

The room was gigantic and had everything we wanted. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was decent though

Central location opposite main train station, just little things missing like writing paper in room.

The hotel was very well appointed. The decor was a little dated in places but the hotel was still clean and well maintained. The bed was we'll put together and the sheets clean and I was able to get an iron and board from reception on request. Good clean bath room with well sized bath. If you're needing sonewhere to stay for a day or two on business, it's a good option.

Good but no ironing board or iron in the room.....everyone staying there will have carried their clothes in a suitcase and therefore will have creased clothes......breakfast and bar food was excellent

Hotel directly at the Braunschweig train station. Logistically well situated with a cozy little bar with an attached terrace. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were quite big sized with a rather oldish styled interior.

It's a pretty standard clean hotel.. nice personnel. Make sure to book a non smoking room since it reeks of cigarettes in the room if you are not a smoker. Some simple rooms are a bit old in style but clean. Standard breakfast. Their gym/fitness area is a treadmill and some sort of pulling equipment. Could need an upgrade.

Awesome breakfast. Room was aired out and a baby crib set up when we got there. Shower stall leaked a bit on the floor but everything else was great.

Great corner room, with free wi-fi, huge TV, big bathroom, delicious breakfast. Right inside the city center, but very quiet. Very comfy! ;-)

Room was small 3x3m all room. A lot of furniture in the room. Tou are taxed extra 12€ / day on parking in their own parking on the back. At least because you pay tou have surveillence on your vehicle and that is good. Even small room but quality. Recomend this hotel for short term.

Spacious rooms with good natural light. Getting a car park is an issue. The hotel car park is most of the time full. The location of the hotel is a plus, many good restaurants in the vicinity. The incl. breakfast at the hotel is not worth the price.

Small and clean hotel in the middle of the city. The rooms are quite small.but absolutely clean and provide everything you need. The hotel restaurant is nice and breakfast offer is rich. The parking lot is inside block, the stuff is helpful and polite.

Had a lovely 3 day stay , breakfast was fantastic , parking is free, we booked already for Christmas again, and I can't wait

Nice decent place , right in middle of happening places. Rooms are small but fully decked up. Never book the single bed room, the room ends before it starts.

I always stay in this hotel when in Braunschweig. It is centrally located, the rooms are spacious and clean, staff are friendly and the breakfast is very good indeed. Would recommend it to anyone visiting for holiday and business.

Loved the hotel! Clean and modern! I specifically wanted to give a shout out to SARA who works at the reception desk. She was absolutely incredible. We were in town for a wedding and she went above and beyond to help everything run smoothly. TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Very modern rooms and bathrooms. Design of room and positions of everything is very user-friendly compared to some other hotels. Card-activated electricity in rooms. Love the breakfast - so many options even for someone with a ton of food restrictions. It was the best and biggest meal of my day everyday for the week I stayed. Close to many restaurants and shops around.

Very nice mid-range hotel. Perfect for Business and very nice for pleasure. I didn't use all booked breakfasts, but had to pay for them although they checked your room number at the breakfast area.

It's the first hotel where the internet works very good. It's possible to watch movies on netflix without any issues. The breakfast is great. The hotel and room looks great - nice and vivid. Alot of nice restuarants around and close to Schloss Arkaden. However, I reduced my rate to 3 stars because of the staff which instead of being understanding and open-minded for solving the encountered problems...

The rooms are clean and ok in general, but have a very basic feel to them. The hotel feels like it is an office building rather than an actual hotel. Very basic breakfast with a quite limited selection.

Positive: Nice breakfast and breakfast room, Hotel's position is great because of shopping places and restaurants nearby, Big and nice rooms, beds are fine, there is hairdryer and also shampoo ready if you forgot yours. Internet speed is good which is very often not case in other hotels. Negative: Hard to find a parking place, fridge and stove aren't working (case only in my room), when showering water...

Normal hotel with the basic service for who need to sleep during a business trip. The design of the rooms are a little bit old fashioned, but still good. I had a small problem, since the wi-fi was not working properly on my floor.

An unforgettable place.The view from the balcony is divine.Rested for a month ahead.Everything was at the highest level.There was a hitch with the purchase of cigarettes in the machine.But even here I was helped by a beautiful and smiling Frau.Thanks.

Rooms are good and interior rather new. Wireless internet is free and in my room I had good reception. Breakfast is ok. Parking is free but parking space rather small and narrow. Ok for business over night stay

There is much to like about this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. A place for a relaxing dinner. But 2 things make it not so good for a business traveler like me. First, the wifi is slooooow. I mean like dial up slow.Second, there is no in room coffee/tea service. For an early riser who needs to get some work done, this is a problem.

Nice hotel in the middle of Braunschweig, the breakfast is amazing and the rooms spacious and comfy. They could improve removing the carpet and changing the bathtubs.

Modern, quaint and comfortable. Front desk people were helpful and the rooms seem nice for a weekly stay. Wi-Fi is terribly slow.

Great place to stay. If you are coming by car, you need to check in first. Than you can open the parking garage under the hotel with your room code.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room as expected regarding size and furnishings; everything was clean. Parking spaces are available. Downside: There is a lay-by for check in, but a sign on the fence says "emergency access". Unless someone tells you, you would not guess that this is the space to park your car for check in.

The Hotel was clean and pleasant, but sadly the restaurant, sauna and wellness could not be used because of the Covid shutdown.

The room was good but the breakfast was terrible. Standard breakfast price (12€ or so) for 4 slices of discount cheese, 5 slices of discount ham and a few cereals. Not any trace of eggs or anything at all for sweet breakfasts lovers, aside some (good) mini croissants. No one came at my table to serve coffee, juice or anything else, I've been left alone. Even in my fridge at home I can find much more...

Quite good and cozy hotel with it's old times charm, broad staircase and red carpet :) Central location is as usual a bonus and a problem, cause Braunschweig at least around this area is extremely lively and party-loving city. Didn't get chance to make the most of the stay, arrived late (and missed the adjacent restaurant) and left early so didn't get much chance to make the most of the stay. However the room was pleasant and breakfast as expected.

Rather cheap, good located, good service. Disadvantage is rather poor breakfast (only eggs as a hot dish), rather old rooms. From my room there was a view to the inside yard, to the window, from which the maid was often smoking in front of me. Bed was standing right below the window, so during the night with opened window it was not so comfortable, a bit windy. Room is small, but clean, with tea kettle

Rooms quite comfortable but the lack of air conditioning is a killer in these summer months. I dont like paying in full for hotel.in arrival either which is policy here.

2nd visit to the Fürstenhof. Great food and drinks, rooms are adequate. Very good location within walking distance of the City.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel. The price comparison other ones is really cheap but it's clean and the breakfasts are good. Perfect for a stopover while traveling.

Very well place nicd clean room. Watch out only for your bank statement. B&B Hotel xharge me twice and when I arrive at reception they told me I have two rooms. Was problem with refund because lady said can refund on credit card. I pay PayPal and got only debit card. After long discussion we get cash back.

Guaranteed quality for the reasonable price. Except for the high season like a fair held near by, you won't be disappointed.

It was a 1 night stay .It can be seen that this Hotel has seen better times . However The Staff was friendly . Breakfast was fine. WiFi was OK. Restaurant for dinner was excellent. Good location to explore surroundings if U are by car .

good hotel for on the way. we booked hotel Zum Weinberg but since it was closed we got a room at Aquarius. Aquarius is very decent.

Nice place if you choose large 2 persons room. Good, fresh breakfast with hot scrambled eggs and sousages. Staff is OK, some of them even friendly. Place outside the town, next to the forest. I like it's free (for hotel guests) sauna and cold water pool.:-) Cheap grill each evening. Nice place to rest.

Nice and cozy hotel. I would only suggest to equip hotel rooms with an electric kettle just to let the guests to prepare themselves a cup of hot tea or coffee any time they need it.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Not in the city centre but very close to the M3 stop which takes less than 10 minutes for downtown.
