Lovely place to stay with extensive view of the Baltic. Rooms are very comfortable with a good taste in decoration. Breakfast is excellent! Home made jam, good strong coffee, just what you need of a morning. 5-star recommendation!

A small, fine house with a very nice, helpful owner. We can only say good things from the room to the good breakfast, you could choose between cooked or scrambled eggs. After the lunch break you could have a free coffee and mostly a homemade cake. The hygiene concept was adhered to very well. We look forward to the next vacation in the house.

Nice hotel, lovingly furnished. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It is worth eating here, there are delicious creations and there should be something for everyone. The only downer was, I had a stain on the bed sheet. Instead of exchanging it, the bed was put in and good. I would have expected more, too bad.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. It was friendly, clean, perfectly located, easy for families like ours with a young child, quality spa treatments (Aloe vera facial is heavenly!) and fantastic restaurant. ONLY thing missing was tea/coffee in the room but apart from that, we were really happy with everything.

This hotel has a great restaurant with a nice menu from starters to main courses to dessert. Despite understaffing, the staff is always friendly and responsive. The dishes that the four of us have eaten so far were great. The price-performance ratio is right from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Windspiel over the New Year 24/25 including half board. We were able to experience a pleasant, family atmosphere during this time. this hotel is in the centre of Heiligenhafen and you have walking distance to all there is to enjoy. Rooms are very comfortable with good beds, we enjoyed a room with balcony overlooking the harbour. Breakfast is standard, nothing special but you find what you need, with some scramble eggs, bacon and salmon. The staff is very helpful and an extra pillow isn’t a problem. Top location, right on the harbor. Parking directly at the hotel, free of charge. Very quiet. Very clean, large room on the first floor (room 114). The bathroom is spacious, the shower is a dream. My expectations were exceeded and I will stay here again on my next trip to Sweden. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Best country inn in eastern Holstein. The chef is really on the ball and gives the term "home cooking" a whole new dimension. Not chic, but just perfect. The hotel from the 19th century exudes a personal atmosphere. Comfortable rooms, personal welcome, good breakfast frame the stay. Holiday begins where you can let yourself go. The hotel is located in Niendorf on the main street in the second row to the beach. This can be reached on foot in under a minute and is nowhere near as crowded as e.g. in Timmendorfer-Strand or Scharbeutz, which we liked again more than usual during this time (Corona). The rooms are partly freshly renovated with a lot of passion and we felt very comfortable. Ms. Hagge and her staff were always approachable...
