Very nice place to stay in a quiet medieval little town not far from Cologne where tje prices are overrated. Breakfast is delicious and the people are very friendly.

Nice and cozy, across entrance to the castle. The rooms are spacious and clean. A bit expensive though. The bar is old school and breakfast excellent!

We had a double room on the ground floor facing the road. Nothing was amiss except maybe a coffee machine or kettle in the room but we were provided with a thermos of hot water instead. Breakfast at 7.30 is very nice. The website needs to be updated as bikes are no longer available which was a shame. Next door is a greek place with burgers, pizza, pasta etc. Everyone was very friendly. Walking distance...

Quaint German hotel with superb conference facilities and delicious food. Excellent venue to have a company conference.

Beautiful place, but not many options for vegetarians. Also it’s not very clear what’s vegetarian at the buffet, you have to ask. Also the buffet is not very well placed, it’s a bit crammed. The food is tasty though, and staff is nice. Their party cellar is too dark...

Great price compared to other hotels during the Christmas Market season. Even included buffet breakfast. Not the most "luxurious" of hotels but everything was clean and tidy. Great for a couple of nights or quick stopover.

Friendly and helpful welcome. English spoken. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Quiet location but five minutes walk to central shops, Aldi and restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Very highly recommended.

The hotel rooms were comfortable however they were a bit small. The bathroom was very new and clean. the breakfast in the morning is the same everyday and it serves regular breakfast items such as fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bread, ham and drinks. occasionally sausages are served too. i tried the restaurant downstairs and it tasted very delicious!! i highly recommend the restaurant as they serve traditional...

A good hotel with very friendly staff. They have a good kitchen with a huge variety of meals for all. The rooms are nice, clean but a bit dated except for the renewed bathrooms. The airconditioning doesn’t really work but you can open windows so no problem. They have a good internet connection except for some rooms.

Not what we expected for the rate we paid. The rooms are clean and spacious, but the interior is outdated and requires some urgent updates. Staff is friendly, however, we struggled to find someone responsible to check us in and out - reception seems rarely occupied.

Very poor wi-fi signal in my room. No heater and outside it's below 0 c°. The food is not good at all and due to corona lockdown there's not many available options. Staff is top. Really good people. Room cleaning is also very good. No minibar or coffee machine in the room. Parking lot is good. Location is also good.

I like this hotel very much. I come here every time I return back for job from Italy. Good rooms and staff! The owner is very sympathetic and generous.

Very nice, well maintained rooms, decent breakfast buffet, Friendly staff. Wifi is ok, but requires frequent re-authentication . Lots of nearby restaurants and pubs. As usual for Germany, no A/C. Nice big TV's too.

good location near the center, good wi fi connection, free parking, clean rooms and really good reception and also kitchen. I still remember "shots". Big like.

Very Tasty food and nice eating area ... The salad was a bit tasteless, however, after demand has been taken care of immediately because of it.

Die Gastfreundschaft war wirklich toll. Aufgrund einer Hochzeit und erst späten Einkehr, wurde das Frühstück extra für uns sehr spät serviert. Hier zählt noch ein Handschlag.

Very comfortable and functional hotel with fine quality breakfast. There is a free wifi but the signal can be considerably weak and the connection speed is too slow.

Nice rooms, extra comfy cushion in cupboard. Didn't get breakfast as was a bit pricey. Room had a TV with lots of German channels but also BBC and CNN. There's a supermarket across the street. Only negative bits were that the water in the shower didn't drain so it was impossible to shower for more than 5 minutes, having to wait over an hour until water was gone again. And the second thing: someone...

Good hotel for the price. I stayed here a week and had absolutely no issues. Unfamiliar with the area, but would not recommend visiting the shops / restaurants directly across the street. There are some very nice restaurants several blocks away.

It's a beautiful place to stay in after a long and tiring day at work. Very peaceful and quiet. I just love the place to stay.

My room needs a renovation, the bathroom even more. My back hurts after the night, either not the right or an old saggy mattress. For me in any case too soft (80Kg body weight). I did not try breakfast, Wi-Fi breaks off or is too slow. Worth a try, but next time I'll book something else.
