Beautiful setting in the stunning village of Kiedrich. Rooms spacious and beautifully appointed with a fabulous bathroom. Breakfast one of the finest I've had in continental Europe. Cannot be recommended highly enough.

Great place! The restaurant offers upscale German cooking with a great selection of local wines. The comfort level of the hotel rooms are not comparable to a Hilton. But remember, you are staying in an old vintage building.

Very good food, great atmosphere

Here is a Review outside of the luxury & Lifestyle magazine lust factor. In the Hotel zum Krug, we do not have to spend the night; but in the Restaurant we have returned to already and can this like to recommend. Rustic rooms and traditional dishes, lovingly prepared. To recommend would, among other things: Grilled fillet of smoked wisper salmon-trout parsley snail Butter, chanterelles, cauliflower...

The pitcher is a very nice, elegant Restaurant for high demands and the discriminating palate :-) The food is excellent. The wine list is sensational and very extensive. Also in the summer one sits beautifully on the back in the yard. Also: very nice and courteous Service.

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, lovely staff. The bed was super comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. Because of the energy crisis the hotel was cutting down on heating (and turned off the heated floors) - but the room still felt warm and cosy. The hotel staff are very communicative and accommodating, we are very appreciative.

Great service and wonderful food! The staff is very nice and welcoming which complements the tasty and high quality food. A variety within the wine menu that I have not seen too many times before. Just the Kaiserschmarrn is better in Austria;)

New rooms are beautiful!

If you are taking a holiday in Germany and driving along the river Rhein in Hessen, than this hotel in Erbach is a must. The owner Mr Tillmanns has taken it back in 2020 and renovated it to something special with it's own park with a collection of old trees to wonder. Such a friendly team doesn't come often, but here the guests are treated first class. Our room was large, comfortable and very adequate...

Little rough around the edges. The family running the hotel are sweet, but a bit of upkeep is needed...weeding, gardening, cleaning, better coffee. I expected more but can also understand that the last year has not been easy for hotels and restaurants. Also a bit more professional and someone available at the bar if someone needs something would be nice.

A quaint sizeable hotel property in Eltville Am Rhien. Rooms were clean and adequate. Breakfast had good selections. Sehr schönes Hotel, ruhig gelegen mit guter Ausstattung. WLAN kostenlos - Tablet auf dem Zimmer. Essen und Trinken ok - Frühstück Auswahl etwas gering, aber lecker. Zimmer in Ordnung; Fernseher, Radio, Bad mit Dusche. Kann ich empfehlen.

Hands down...the best steakhouse in the region and possibly one of the best steakhouses in Germany. Outstanding cuisine paired with delicious wines, completed by superb service and great ambience. Can't wait for my next treat😋

Food was absolutely amazing.

In the beautiful town of Eltville amount the Rhine River. Food is good with the chef not afraid to experiment a bit. Service was attentive and prompt.

Very interesting historical place, hotel and restaurant buildings renovated with taste.

Had the schnitzel that was tender and crispy. The potato salad on the side was very yummy as well.

We had a wine tasting at the vineyard first. We ordered food for a very very reasonable price for what we got. All the food was nicely present and tasted as good as it looks. If I have to drive across Germany again I will make a second visit.

Das Hotel punktet mit Individualität und Gastfreundlichkeit. Es gibt viele Details zu entdecken wie den großen Festsaal mit wunderschönem Holzboden, den Platanenhof, die ansprechende Konditorei. Man spürt die Geschichte des Hauses und das gefällt uns besser als eine standardisierte Modernität der Hotelketten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist natürlich das Restaurant Jean.

Excellent Hotel: recently renovated, with very good taste. It preserves the exterior architecture and the breakfast room, which looked like a banquet. Rooms clean, modern and comfortable. The attention of the owner was also excellent. Super recommended!

The living area is beautiful and cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In short, I felt very comfortable and welcome! I was there as a day guest, so unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms.

We stayed at the Hotel Krone for two nights, or one night with 13 other members of the family. We had a wonderful time there and everyone loved it. Very nice rooms, tastefully and lovingly furnished, clean and very well maintained. We all really enjoyed the breakfast. The Hotel is a very friendly family run business, it is attached to a winery which you can see when you enter the reception. The room we were given was extremely generous in size and very clean. The furniture is modern and of good quality. The family that run the hotel were very welcoming. The breakfast was generous. The wifi is excellent and its position in the town very convenient for the access...

This little gem is tucked away in the edge of town between a vineyard. It's very nicely appointed. The service is typically German so if you are an American looking for a quick visit you may need to inform them. The food was delicious and it's menu changes frequently. The wine is very tasty and there are many options to choose from.

Wonderful wedding location, beautiful hotel with helpful staff. All our guests commented on the spacious rooms, charming gardens, and lovely atmosphere. Small pool and spa area are a nice to have, extremely clean everywhere, food delicious. Well located for day trips on the edge of a pretty village.
