Wir waren eine der ersten Gäste dort und wurden sehr herzlich vom Personal empfangen. Die Lobby wirkt liebevoll und einladend eingerichtet. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wir haben uns wirklich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier werden wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Esslingen definitiv wieder buchen.

Zentrale Lage, günstiger Preis, viele Parkplätze 13 €, Hund erlaubt, 10 -15 €. Neu renoviert, große Zimmer. Kommen gerne wieder.

Was a shiny gem in a dumpy part of town. Is still pretty modern, but starting to feel dated. Very large rooms. Underground, on site parking. As with all hotels in Europe, I need to take a star away for having no air conditioning. Cute, storybook neighborhood with good restaurants close by. Had a refrigerator (finally!)

Great hotel. Best of all where I ever stayed. Great location in the very heart of Historical downtown Esslingen. Offers perfect options for breakfast with lot of vegetarian stuff. Dieses Hotel ist sehr sauber und freundlich. Das Restaurant, das sie vor Ort haben, ist immer flexibel bei Ihren Wünschen. Am meisten habe ich die Gastfreundschaft genossen! Fühlte mich sehr wohl hier für meine 3 Wochen und so weiter während eines Besuchs in Süddeutschland. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, der in dieser Gegend bleiben möchte, besonders weil es so nahe an den historischen Teilen Deutschlands...

Most of all I enjoyed the hospitality! Felt very comfortable staying here for my 3 weeks off and on while visiting southern Germany. I would recommend his to any one wanting to stay in this area, especially since it's so close to the historic parts of Germany. The best hotel in Esslingen. Nice rooms, great breakfast, excellent service, good restaurant... just not a single reason to complain... well...

This is a great place to stay. The breakfast is stunning and it itself is a reason to go there. We got there very late and the key box worked very well. Even if your destinatin is Stuttgart you should consider staying here.

Very cheap place. It was ok. No air conditioning in the room, it is an absolute melting box in the summer. Unbearable. Also, no where in the hotel to get a cold drink, not even water, once reception closes.

They do outdated right. It's such a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere that you feel like you're staying at your Great Aunt's place, rather than a hotel. The breakfast is standard German, but with a personal touch. You can order your eggs how you like and the cost is unbeatable. I loved every night there, and I was there 3 weeks!

Cosy house, something comfortable room size, good bed and cozy furnishings, and - very important - very clean old-fashioned but. What is particularly noteworthy is the nice atmosphere created by the "den mother". I had a cold strong voice, slightly feverish and had to go to the fair. Stylish budget hotel. No frills rooms, comfortable and clean but basic. Don't expect a full service hotel, though. The breakfast had a nice food selection, and everything we had was delicious. The hotel is nice but could be better , no closet for the clothes, no boiler for hot drinks no mini bar as well, I gave the service 5 starts because of the receptionist Ahmed and the lady responsible for the breakfast they’re nice. Breakfast is okay.

Much like any other B&B Hotel I have stayed in, except due to a trade show in Stuttgart, paid more than i have ever paid for a similar brand hotel. We drove down to Stuttgart from the UK in August 2024 while enroute to Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days as it had free parking, wasn't far from the city centre and other attractions. I liked the location of the hotel (close to the U-Bahn and the relevant addresses for my staying), the very friendly staff, the well-thought-out design, the quality of the equipment of the room, the price. Especially I liked the welcoming procedure. The lady from the reception explained everything to me very cleary and handed out additional information in written form. It's an ok place, but impersonal and with no staff at sight. Also, paper cups were not replaced and we ended up without anything to be able to drink, and the promised bottles of water did not appear in our room the three days we were there.

Clean, well organized, secure, clear conditions. This hotel needs only to send staff at the reception disk for standard, polite and basic receptionist behaviour.

I have stayed here for couple of weeks during my business trips. I liked it very much. Friendly staff, good rooms and perfect breakfast. In summer the garden is open so you can have you breakfast there. The restaurant in the hotel is perfect also. Friendly staff, good food and beer!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at Hetzel Hotel! Although the hotel looks small from the outside, but the room is very spacious, clean, and updated. Very big and comfortable rooms. The Hotel is clean and nice. The personell is very kind. Only one of the staff at breakfast is very noisy and full of adrenalin, but you can support this lady. The reason for three Stars is the Internet connection. Internet is fast but after 2 min you are disconnected automatically, this don't allow you to work. Pity otherwise it deserves 5 Star.

Wonderful hotel. A warm welcome and comfortable rooms. There is a large car park with east access to the hotel. The reception staff are very friendly and gave us a wonderful suggestion of a Greek restaurant nearby for dinner. We took their advice and it was superb.

The maisonette rooms are awesome. Ours had lots of sockets, so we could power or gadgets easily. The WiFi is strong, the room is clean and everyone was very kind to us. The only thing to criticize is that the is no hotel bar. So it's not possible to get drinks in the hotel. But there are some bars near the hotel.

As the name already says, this Hotel is perfect if you come from the airport of have to be there very early in the morning. Rooms have great value. Very spacious for that price. Since I had to leave early, I didn't have the chance to try the breakfast. The airport is theoretically reachable by foot, but you have to reserve about 30-40 minutes. I recommend to take a taxi instead.

We stayed here for one night ahead of an early departure from Stuttgart airport. The hotel is very clean, the beds comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. If the room hadn't been so so hot, I would have given five stars. Phones didn't work. Safe didn't work, but they allowed us to change rooms, but in the new room, the safe worked, but the A/C didn't! Staff were all great. Super breakfasts every day. Almost everyone spoke good English. Great firm beds. Bus stop only 2 minutes away.

Good rooms for a night stay. Breakfast has limited choices but good. 2 km from the airport and has a discount supermarket nearby. Some local restaurants are a walk a from hotel. Ample parking lots available on the streets but if you plan to keep it indoors you can still do it with a charge.

I picked a hotel randomly when I passed by it occasionally during my trip. The surrounding facilities are very average. I feel that the surrounding area is not very safe. It is indeed very close to the Mercedes-Benz Museum and parking is very convenient.

Passing through Stuttgart, Germany, I specifically checked in at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mercedes-Benz Museum, next to the Stuttgart Stadium. The room is very large, the breakfast is very good, and the price is less than 1,000, making it the cheapest hotel in this European trip.

I liked the location, it was close to the Cannstadt festival ground, only 15 min or less on foot. Room was clean, bathroom was exceptionally clean. Cleaned, hovered and tidy up everyday. Fresh towels everyday. Very nice, and kind receptionist and staff in general. Breakfast spread very generous and a lot of variety. There was AC in the room which was essential in a hot summer.

Great location for concerts! (or also, if you want to go to the Wasen) you can very well walk there. Our room, although quite small, was clean and had a fridge. Parking and breakfast possible. The owners/staff are very nice and accommodating. Should we come to Stuttgart again overnight, we would love to sleep here again.

I think this is the hotel where the hitsong “Wackelkontakt” was written. Lots of 70’s charm, but also crappy wiring, plugs hanging out and other broken stuff. Beds were good though and breakfast was very nice (excellent buffet), but this place probably doesn’t meet a lot of safety and fire standards.

Great for the price and proximity to Ubahn and Bad Cannstatt station. Views from the window were nice. There was also a portable fan in the room as the AC is not needed during these summer nights. Unfortunately, we could smell smoke coming from the bathroom vent one night and had to close the bathroom door to prevent it from spreading (this worked). The place is good and the breakfast was good. Rooms are small but OK. Except the very rude and unacceptable behavior of the reception at the time of check-in, others aspects are OK. Management should really think about whom they use for reception and teach them very basic manners and politeness.

The reception lady was extremely nice and welcoming. Room was very spacious, tidy, TV had a million channels. Short - it was perfect. I was very surprised by the breakfast. Not only typical bread and jam was there, but also a variety of hot dishes, vegetables, fruit. They even had smoked salmon. Very high quality.

The location is very nice. If you are by car or on foot either way it is practical. The rooms do feel a bit outdated but the beds are phenomenal to sleep in, the bathroom is big enough with a great shower! But most of all, the breakfast! Beautiful hotel in a great location. Despite being right next to the trams (which is wonderful for connections throughout the city, but has the potential to be noisy), the rooms are very well insulated so almost no external noise can be heard. Bed was also very comfortable. Thank you!

Close to the centre. We were there for the Christmas markets. I think eccentric might be a good word to describe this hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Possibly the smallest bar I've ever seen. You'll be in heaven if you like Coy fish! Would recommend.

The hotel is beginning to look a tad dated, but the rooms were very nice, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was in the hotel and good. The restaurant oddly was down the street. The hotel had very convenient parking, but very limited spots. We had a special request and it was carried out cheerfully by the staff.

Twin room was totally grand... beds very comfy! Sink and tv in the room... the curtain was disappointing being merely a few strings so difficult to sleep in!.

It's a very good and comfortable hotel. Breakfast served is very good. Downstairs there is a pizza shop where you can get delicious and very reasonable pizza anytime. It's just 100 meter away from metro station, so it's very comfortable hotel if you have to travel in the city via trams.
