The location is great. Bus station and Train station just a stones throw away form the hotel. The owners and staff very friendly. They certainly made us feel at home and welcoming.

Perfect place..very friendly personal, breakfast buffet every day and great offers, if you like food you will be a fan...check the photos to see dome offers.

Reasonable sized rooms, with good beds. Hotel could use a upgrade interior wise. We where there in the summer heat and with no air conditioning or a fan the room temperature was beyond comfortable, even with the windows open.

Soso hotel, in the middle of the city. Quite noisy when you try to ventilate the room. Small very basic bathroom. Ok breakfast. We're not able to serve dinner due to circumstances.

Rooms are very nice & clean. Would have liked coffee/tea facilities in the room. Breakfast was nice, didn't have the cooked just fruit & yoghurt with some very nice bread.

Hotel Sarah is a fantastic surprise. The hotel presents itself fantastically well. The rooms and furniture are brand new. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are well equipped and spacious. Late check in is not an issue because there is a safe box from where keys can be taken with code. There is an ample parking ground outside of the hotel. The breakfast and the dining room is also quite impressive...

We stayed for one night at this lovely hotel and we had the best time there. The staff is super friendly and really make you feel like home. The room was brand new, very well thought out to meet all your needs in the smallest details. We had dinner there and it was a great experience, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean, modern, practical are the key words here. Very kind service. Breakfast was OK for a normal expectation. Had not tried the restaurant and on this I cannot comment but for the rest I can highly recommend and thus 5 stars.

the staff is very friendly and accommodating, I had a climate in the room and the bed was very comfortable however the room was also very shabby with no minibar. Particularly strange is the wood panelling of the ceiling was lying in bed I felt like I was in a coffin. The Breakfast was super.

Accurate and complete rooms in detail. Friendly staff, a surprising terrace inside. The breakfast is plentiful, you can smoke on the balconies outside the rooms without having to leave the hotel. I certainly know where to stay when I return to these parts!

Incredibly warm welcome from the very friendly and helpful receptionist. I was even allowed into my room earlier, which was very nice and very spacious. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location and has a really great atmosphere! Always happy to be totally relaxing there again!

Lovely location, very handy for us to visit friends. Excellent breakfast. VERY helpful staff upon arrival (and throughout our stay). No problem with changing our room to suit our needs. Terrace area is really nice with good views. All staff were a credit to the Hotel.

Very cozy hotel! Rooms are nice and the staff is very nice too. The food at the restaurant is great! However, the restaurant is only open Tuesday through Sunday but breakfast is every day.

Hotel, employers and location: 1A. I missed signs to find the hotel. Room 1A, but restaurant not really to recommend for gourmets. They offer mostly fastfood like at McDonalds.

It is always a great place to stay. The hotel and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you are a Borussia Fan, it is a must to stay there.

Not been back in the Tannenhof for many years. But when we were on duty in the nearby Ayrshire Barracks we always enjoyed this nice hotel. The food. The draft beers. Great to note it still is there and in operation as a family business

Cosy and comfortable rooms, hospitable hosts, convenient location. I already stayed in Tannenhof several times and plan to come back again.

We know the Tannenhof for many years. And are Happy that it's still family run and doing well. In the old BAOR garrison years myself and some staff used to almost live in this nice quiet and laid back hotel.

A clean, small, family-run hotel on the outskirts of Mönchengladbach. The ride to the city takes a moment, but it is close to the stadium and a growing commercial area. They only serve breakfast, so be prepared to get your warm meals elsewhere. A supermarket is nearby. The charge for WiFi, but the prices are all right.

Large rooms (a bit of a 1970s feel. but clean and very spacious). The bed was comfortable and all was fine. The location is not great as not much in the immediate area.

The rooms and total aspect of the hotel do feel old as described in some other reviews. But they are kept very clean and overall its very quited and based in a residential area. The parking in the front of the hotel is limited but there is an easy access to the garage with more spaces. Free electric car recharching is offered aswell. Breakfast is good and there is a varierity of options.

The room and the location was good. There is no complain about the hotel itself. Netto is right opposite the hotel. I always find it good to have a departmental store nearby. The bus station is in 2-3 min walk. Just I think that the bus is never on time in Mönchengladbach. There is a Cafeteria beside the hotel. Good to have your morning coffee. This was a hard hotel to access we arrived late after a long journey, not manned at early hours in the morning we had difficulty logging into our rooms via the access machine and our phone, others were struggling also. One of the favorite locations to stay.

Clean new robohotel next to a grocery store, with a big bakery cafe located in the ground floor of the same building. There was a bit of a scrum to get the free parking. But it worked out for us. The online check-in instructions were a bit off... we did not need to use the check-in machine at all. But it is not fair to the hotel to slam it in reviews because someone did not realize that it is a robohotel...

Room was nice and clean but had the noise of a fan from outside room 302. Not good if you are a light sleeper but I got by. Otherwise nice, handy for Alem Aachen FC, 20 minutes walk.

Arrived mid-day and easily checked in on the automated checkin. Found a clean and quiet room 5k away from downtown Aachen. Found a scooter nearby and easily rode into town. Extensive breakfast the next morning. Would definitely stay here again. Great location for the price.

It's a regular budget hotel, nothing to write review about except the breakfast selection was totally worth the price paid for once! Rooms have basic furniture and amenities and a bit weird layout but it works somehow!

I've visited the hotel over many years and being part of a retirement house doesn't detract from the quality service. The room are always in good condition and always clean.
